Ted Baker Reviews
Love these shoes! Wore them on my wedding day and everyone loved them! Comfortable and stylish.
My quest for the perfect riding boots has finally ended! These boots are gorgeous. Beautiful soft leather that is the perfect shade of brown and free from any discoloration or imperfections. They are very well made with good quality materials. They are incredibly comfortable, with a soft insole and perfect size boot shaft (I have stupidly thin calves and these weren't too big). I love the way the top of the boot is slightly angled up and out - it's very flattering on your leg. I am 5'2 and the height of the size 7 boot (I am typically a size 6.5) is perfect on me. They have a gorgeous gold plate on the bottom of the boot, and the inner portion of the top panel of the boot is gilded gold, which is a fun surprise. Buy these boots, you won't regret it!
I love my boots! I bought the black pair and wear them all the time. I have now ordered the brown pair.
Overall, this is a great boot for my thicker calves. The fit is definitely true to size. The comfort level is amazing especially for wider feet. My only complaint is the color. I bought them in black and even though the picture doesn't look quite black, I was still expecting an almost black boot. The boots are actually a unique, distressed gray. I don't have the color in my boot collection so I did keep them but I'm still on the hunt for my perfect black, flat boot!
Nice looking shoe. Leather upper very good. Sorry shoe is a wee bit too narrow for me. For dress shoes, I'm somewhere between a D and E. Guess I'm only order E's going forward.
Looked cuter in the picture than in person. Bow looks cheep and don't appear as well made as a Weitzman or Tahari. Also, Ted Baker always seem to run a size too big.
Great slippers. Warm and light, not bulky like most men's slippers. Needed to purchase a size larger than usual (run small). Beautiful packaging.
Ted Baker is one of the best shoes I have ever owned. People who complain about the sole have clearly never owned a pair of designer shoes before. You must take the shoes to your local cobbler and have him attach an after-market sole on the bottom of the shoe... didn't it seem weird when you were sliding around while walking?? I've had my current pair for 2.5 years and I basically have worn them at least 5 days a week during that time period. Very well made shoes, which is why I'm buying a pair again.
Ted Baker has done it again. These boots in Black have tons of personality, from the side buckle to the contrast blue stitching throughout. The contrast is subtle. What is not subtle is the Dark Salmon inner lining seen in the photos. It's a bit shocking at first, but I have grown to like it and understand it's simply Ted Baker's style.Compared to other Ted Baker shoes (Magena and Ashcroft 3) the leather seems a bit thinner but otherwise looks and feels superb, exhibiting a rich texture. The boots appear to be well constructed. The leather sole combined with the rubber tread should provide lots of durability. The fit is true to size, but the boots do feel a little stiff at first. That is simply a result of the natural materials that need some break-in period.
I loved the design and color but the material is terrible. Not worth what they're asking for discounted (original is much more). I returned it. But if they sell it for less, I'll buy it again.
These are beautiful boots: no breaking in period necessary, great contrast of leather on the toe, comes with a choice of laces (leather shown) or the more traditional round laces. I normally take a 10.5, and the 11's fit perfectly, which is typical of Ted Baker quality product.
Since they don't have half sizes, I ordered next size up and they were huge. I did not like the quality of the leather. It felt cheap and some of the color was coming off. They went right back to Zappos the very next day.
Exactly as described! Comes with an extra pair of laces (brown), but the plum ones are much cooler! Keep in mind that it's a very slim sole, so don't expect a tennis shoe feel. If you want the latest look to go with form-fitting pants, these are it! I liked them so much, I bought them in black as well.
I've owned these shoes for 2 months. I rotate shoes during the week so these are not typically worn on consecutive days. The shoes look fantastic if you desire a sleek, fashionable look through utilization of a classic, clean look with an elongated toe. The leather is decent and overall the shoe is quite comfortable. I suspect it will be prone to lose its shape after prolonged use without proper care via a shoe tree, assuming that will be a key success factor in longevity of shape. Heads up -- Flaw -- Most important -- There is a fundamental, significant shortcoming of this shoe: the sole. The underside of the shoe degrades quickly (a matter of 10 - 14 days if not less) and moisture easily penetrates the shoe through the sole when walking, even just briefly, in damp/wet conditions. If you only wear these shoes in an interior environment you'll be okay with shoe wear and rapid degradation of the sole won't be a concern. However, that's not realistic if you walk even a few yards on concrete/pavement daily. Don't be lured by their stylish design. The lack of practical wear/use has rendered me quite disappointed with this shoe. I cannot recommend these shoes and quite frankly will not consider Ted Baker fashions ever again based on this experience. All the best in your quest to cover your feet with a sexy, practical, long lasting and good quality shoe for a fair [subjective] price.
Shoes look great but I couldn’t even get my foot in. When laces are fully undone the leather is stitched so tightly that the shoe does not open. Too bad, they look great and seem very comfy.
Better than they look in the pictures - shadow falls distorting toe (it's simple). Back seam is offset, nice design feature, lessens wear from driving, only half patent. Gold overpowering, you'll see little when on. Toe box good, you can stuff the tip so you can depart from French Sole style snub toe flats, well made, like them on first impression, good patent should hold up over time.
These boots are hot and so comfortable! They fit wide at the ball of the foot and are nicely padded so you can do a lot of walking in these high heels! Highly recommended.
This shoe is gorgeous! The inside of the heel cup and the heel are a matte leather instead of patent, but that's fine as that area will get scuffed anyway. It ran a bit small for me, so I had to return for a half-size up. It will definitely give you that Kate Middleton look!
Do not buy these shoes! While I love Ted Baker for suits and shirts, these shoes were awful. I bought them for the style but the quality is very poor. Within a few weeks of wearing them the sole wore down and once I went out in the rain I could feel the dampness through the bottom of the shoe. Thankfully Zappos were brilliant and gave me a full refund. Stay away from these and buy Ted Baker shoes with caution!
These are so adorable! Perfect boots! I'm so mad I'll have to return them. The only problem is that they don't have half sizes and I really needed a half size up (but a full one will be too much).
