I was looking for something stylish and comfortable, and I totally found it. These shoes are so comfortable, I don\'t even know I have them on! While I initially followed the advice of the other reviewer who said they don\'t run true to size, I wound up exchanging for my actual size.

I bought these beautiful shoes hoping that they would have enough arch support. They arrived the next day (thank you Zappos!), but unfortunately they run small and I had to send them back. My toes were touching the end of the shoe. I wanted to try one size up, but the next size up was out of stock. I'm always a size 9, but in this case I really needed the size 40, which Taryn Rose says is a 10.

Beautiful leather shoe. Slightly narrow, but not ridiculously narrow. I usually wear a 9 and ordered both 9 and 9.5. The 9 was too tight and I kept the 9.5.

Like walking on air! They hardly weigh a thing and provide excellent arch support. Understated and fabulous in a low key way. My favorite kind of thing! Plus, I have a narrow foot and was reluctant to order these B widths, but they work even though they are roomy.

This is a great looking shoe. Very stylish and yet, very comfortable. Loved the look of the shoe and the perfect heel height for wearing all day. The fit is not good. The shoe runs at least 1 full shoe size small and a little narrow. I love the shoe but am disappointed in the sizing and have to return. Zappos has the greatest customer service ever! The return authorization was issued immediately and Zappos paid shipping both ways. How could you not feel special with attentive and courteous service?!

This is a very pretty, light weight shoe. It seems a little loose in the heel, but otherwise fits true to size. Comfortable and can wear all day.

These shoes are unique..soft and yet supports the foot. The sole is substantial and comfortable. These are high on the price scale but wear like iron, don\'t lose their shape and feel like house slippers all day. They are a bargain when you can wear them for years without stretching. I have several pair because they work for almost any occasion. I buy a size larger.\r\nCombine the perfect shoe with Zappos perfect service and you can\'t lose!

I've had my pair of Kelseys for about three years. It is my go to shoe for any and all occasions. I would have thought it a delicate shoe except for my experience wearing it at a wedding in the Texas Hill Country recently. It poured during the ceremony and we were all standing under a tent in two inches of water. The shoes were soaked and caked with mud. When I got back to the hotel and took them off, I was certain they were ruined. When I returned to San Diego, they were still wet. I put them by the water heater to dry. After brushing, spraying with ZAP deodorizer and edging the sole line with black stuff, the shoes are now as good as new. These are tough little shoes, well made and ready for anything life delivers your way. I wish I could afford all the colors!

This is the best shoe; I know it's a bit expensive, but worth every penny. This is my second pair and I wear it daily, it seems. First pair lasted over two years.

These are beautiful shoes! They are well-made, the fabric is luxurious and practical, and the shoe is sturdy and functional. These shoes have excellent cushioning for walking, a big toe box for those difficult to fit (I have had many foot surgeries), and good support. I have had a similar shoe in stretch leather for six years and it is still very usable and looks great; I think these shoes will be comparable.

Taryn Rose shoes can't be beat for comfort. I love Taryn Rose, and despite the cost, feel they're worth it. I especially love the comfort of these sandals; however, I bought another pair of these sandals, in a different color, about a year earlier from another store. I loved them so bought a second pair from Zappos. Unfortunately, they broke. The strap that attaches to the sole between the toes came loose while I was wearing them. (Imagine trying the walk through a mall and get back to my car to get home just to change shoes.) Normally I would have just been disappointed, but at the cost of Taryn Rose shoes, I decided to ask Zappos to return them. It was pleasant to learn that they would, indeed, accept the return, but I was dismayed by the email that I got which said that shoes are expected to last "3 to 6 months," and that to return them I have to send them back in original packaging. I feel certain that Zappos will nevertheless accept them for a return, although that process is underway.

This is an excellent walking around shoe. I wore it on a trip to NYC and walked all day. The sizing for me was one whole size larger (I tried it on in a local store so I knew what size to order). It's an expensive shoe, but well worth the expense.

These are BEAUTIFUL shoes, very comfortable and classy with a heel that is high enough to wear with a dress but low enough to walk in all day. Unfortunately, they run VERY SMALL! I usually wear a size 9 and even the 9.5 was much too small. otherwise, the perfect black pump for the gal who cannot wear the higher heel but still wants a gorgeous shoe!

Beautiful shoes. What a lovely shoe. Unlike the other reviewers, I found this shoe true to size. I am always surprised how Taryn Rose, being a podiatrist, can design shoes with so little support and so much cost! I would have loved to keep them, but they didn't work for me with my recent foot surgery.

These boots are gorgeous, but as another reviewer stated, they are not very comfortable, especially for Taryn Rose! The boot shaft is totally loose and it bunches around the ankle. It isn't obvious if you wear them with pants, but I wouldn't wear them with a skirt. Besides looking odd having your boot scrunching around your ankle, it is uncomfortable after a period of maybe 45 minutes to keep these boots on. Too bad as I really like the look & style.

These are the most comfortable pair of ballerinas I've had. I bought them 1/2 larger than my regular size and the fit is perfect. They are a little on the dressy side due to the shiny suede.

At first I was a little reluctant about the chunky heel but I think it actually makes the shoe more comfortable. The shape of the shoe from the front is very feminine which compensates for the heavy looking heel. The foot bed is nicely cushioned and it even has arch support. It\'s a great shoe!

These booties are gorgeous. I love the silver detail between the heel and upper, and the simple but elegant zipper pull. They are well made; even the inside is beautiful. They fit my narrow feet extremely well and quite comfortable as far as heels go. They are very form fitting on me (I am very slender) and look great with tights and a short skirt, or with jeans. I would not recommend them if you wear a wide shoe.

Really cute shoes with great arch support but they were almost a full size too small for me. I wear a US 9.5 and these were EUR 39.5. The sling back barely met the buckle around my heal. I hated to return them because they looked so great. The size differential is the only reason why I would not give them 5 stars overall. I'd buy them again if a size that fit me was still available.

Terrible fit. I am a size 7, medium width and these shoes are so tight. And the shoe is incredibly high in the back. I was very disappointed because of how beautiful this shoe is.

Wow, what a great little shoe. They are very easy to dress up or wear with jeans! I first purchased the Kelsey shoe in navy. The shoe was so comfortable that I ordered the Kelsey shoe in black! Now, brown is a must for fall. Zappos description of sizing is accurate. Order one size larger than normal and you won't be disappointed!

All-time favorite ankle boots - I purchased a pair of Pilar by Taryn Rose several years ago and wore them almost every day. I have been searching for a replacement pair because they are so comfortable! If you have wider feet, and like the snug fit around the ankle (very flattering), then the Pilar ankle boot will be perfect.

This Taryn Rose sandal ran 1/2 size smaller than other Taryn Rose sandals I have. It was short both in the front and back although the arch seemed to be in the right place for me. Otherwise, it's a good heel height, classic Taryn Rose comfortable, and a cute retro look.

These are exceptionally comfortable, with a roomy toe box, moderate arch support and good cushioning. They are good-looking and chic, without fussy details, and avoid the heavy, clunky look of many "comfort" shoes. They are a re-make of an older Taryn Rose style that has not been produced in several years. I am so happy to see them back in production! The stretch fabric adds to the comfort, however I would much prefer them in suede.

I have the Tyra patent, as well as the suede slide with this wonderful sole. So I was surprised to find that the liner on this sandal had been shortened. On my foot, that means that it ends right under the ball of my foot. Buyer beware. At this price point, I'm not going to the shoe guy to have this changed.

About Taryn Rose

About Taryn Rose…

In 1998, the footwear industry changed forever with the arrival of Taryn Rose International, a line of luxury shoes as fashionable as they are functional. Founded by a young orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Taryn Rose, the brand struck a chord with women desiring to be well dressed while having a sense of well being and very quickly established a dedicated following.

Hand-sewn in Italy, Taryn Rose shoes are made with the finest materials and are known the world over for their style, ease and remarkable fit. Taryn Rose’s inspiration lies in the evolution of people's lives and how fashion can fuse with function in the most innovative way. Taryn Rose consistently takes on the challenge to find the next breakthrough in technology and remain on the cutting-edge of design and manufacturing methods. In 1998, Taryn Rose became the first footwear company to utilize the NASA-created Poron cushioning that gained the nickname “memory foam” for its ability to retain 95% of its cushioning after years of use. This breakthrough was followed by the patented Aqua Rose camoscio in 2006, giving customers a water-proof suede that could actually be worn on a rainy day. Every Taryn Rose shoe is designed to meet the lifestyle needs and fashion cravings of today's on-the-go individual. The recent eco-friendly offering literally helps the earth-conscious customer measure her carbon footprint. Each season, Taryn Rose continues to exceed standards and bring customers the latest and best advancements the industry has to offer.

What makes a Taryn Rose shoe different? Arch Support: Taryn Rose shoes are built on an asymmetrical last, allowing for full arch support, which increases the foot’s mobility within the shoe, decreases fatigue and protects the ankles. Breathability: Taryn Rose shoes are lined with the same final quality of leather used on the uppers, making the foot more comfortable from the inside out. It also increases breathability, because natural materials breathe in a way that synthetics cannot. Cushioning: A generous cushion of Poron® is built in to support the ball of the foot. Poron® is a foam with memory, so it literally springs back to retain its shape. Flexibility: Extra cushioning and supple materials encourage the foot to move naturally within the shoe. Lightness: Taryn Rose is constantly looking for materials to cushion the foot and provide support without adding weight. Evolutionary: Taryn Rose shoes have been designed in response to changes in the way we live. Customers lead active lives and want to be able to think on their feet. Details: Special attention is paid to the well-being of the customers and to the planet. The use of water-soluble glue is less toxic than commercial cobbler’s glues and allows the shoes to breathe and stretch naturally, decreasing tears and extending their functional life.
