Although this is a nice looking and fun shoe by a supposedly good manufacturer, do not buy them if your child has a wide foot. It is obvious that Stride Rite uses the same parts on its wide shoes as a regular size. The T-strap on my size 13W does not line up with the black center on this shoe. Also the piece that attaches the T-strap (on the non velcro side) is not elastic, and looks like it will never last with the pulling that I'll have to do to make close. So disappointed, especially for an expensive shoe advertised as wide.

My son loves these shoes so much that he didn't want to wear them outside so they wouldn't get dirty! We had gotten the wrong size at first but Zappos took them back without any questions and even upgraded the shipping on the new pair! We will be buying all of our shoes from Zappos from now on!

My boys adore Star Wars. I adore Star Wars. We splurged on these shoes, spending about twice as much as I usually do. And both pairs (one Cap Rex, one Gen G) are falling apart after about three weeks of wear. Very cool concept executed with very poor quality.

My son 6 years old and he loves Star Wars. This shoes are perfect for him. It's comfortable and cool. He loves it and wears it all the time, doesn't want anything else. Definitely recommended!

These are great shoes Shipping was fast and there is nothing like it locally. Looks great with a Captain Rex Halloween costume too. The lights are not too bright and therefore aren\'t bothersome to adults

My 7 year old loves them. The lights are bright! They are already very scuffed up after 1 month, but they are worn every day. Construction seems top notch. Would definitely recommend them to any Star Wars fans out there!

I bought these shoes for my son for a birthday gift,as he loves anything Star Wars, especially the clone troopers. He loves these shoes, and you can't find them in the local stores. They are very well made and durable. My son and I are very happy with my purchase!!

Zappos does it again! My 7 year old son saw these shoes on a TV commercial and had to have them. I went to a couple of shoe stores and they did not have them. Not only did Zappos have the size in stock, they had the best price also. Oh and did I mention the free shipping. We ordered them and got them the next day. Awesome!

My son loves these shoes! They are very cute, and light up. I ordered wide, and they offer plenty of wiggle room for little toes. We have only had them for a few weeks, but so far they are wearing well. They are the cutest light up shoes I have seen for a boy. I love Zappos!

My son is almost 5 years old and prefers about one size bigger. So we bought 12.5 wide and he loved it so much! Price is slightly cheaper than Stride store or online. Easy to wear and take off. One of best shoes for my son!

As always the customer service is above reproach. I always use Zappos whenever I can. My grandsons are very happy with the shoes. I actually purchased two pairs of the Stride Rite Star Wars tennis shoes. They have held up amazingly well as my grandsons are 5 and 7 and very active. I would recommend these shoes, as they were true to size and fit very well.

The stitching on the Velcro strap started falling apart within two weeks of wear. Within a month of moderate use, the strap was pretty much falling apart. Stride Rite sent me another pair and again the stitching started coming out within a month of wear in exactly the same place. I'm sending them back and won't be buying stride rite any time soon!

Although the shoe fit well, the materials and workmanship was terrible. The Velcro t-strap tore away and the wires became exposed-a definite safety no-no. The second pair we received to replace the defective first pair was also defective-only one shoe lit up. I would not recommend spending money on these shoes.

Definitely runs narrow so buy wide if you are questioning the width at all. My son loves these shoes and didn't care that the strap busted off its sides less than 2 weeks after I splurged on the shoe.
