Fabulous shoes! My son loves them...even leaves them on all day, which is a rarity. They are super easy to get on and off...not just because of the closures, but they open enough that you don't have to squish his feet to get them on. And they look cool too!

This is my five year old son’s uniform shoe. It seems to be quite durable, as it takes a beating going to school every day and to after school activities. I feel it runs a bit small, so order at least a half size up. If you have a choice in colors, white is not optimal. It turns yellowish after the first month and is quick to attract dirt. Also, the tie laces are white - my son has a tendency to continue play even when untied, so they also turn a grayish/dark color. I haven’t stuck them in the washer because I’m afraid of shrinkage, with the leather you can wipe off most of the dirt. We bought our first Austin shoe in September and in January bought our second (his foot grew). The toe and soles were very worn.

Excellent shoes. Regrettably my daughter has outgrown them. Easy on/off for her. It withstands her 5 year old challenges well, I’ve even thrown them in the washing machine several times. Looks great with her school uniform or jeans. Fits true to size.

These were a Christmas present for my daughter. Of course, I left shopping too late and was having trouble finding the size. Not only did I find the right size, the holiday shipping promotion helped get it to me on time without breaking the bank. I ended up calling customer service because I couldn't believe that I would receive the shoes so quickly at NO COST for shipping. She was so pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. I am extremely happy with my shopping experience here. My daughter LOVES the shoes. I have had a lot of success with Stride Rite as a brand. At 2 yrs old, she is already particular about which shoes she wants to wear. These shoes are one of the two pairs she will currently wear!

Very cute boots. I bought these for my granddaughter. They fit well and keep her feet warm when she plays in the snow. I would recommend them.

My son loves them and says they are comfortable. I did not realize at first that they are mesh, so not such a great winter shoe (must be a summer shoe) but he has not complained of cold feet. He finds them easier to put on and off than other shoes.

I love ordering from Zappos.com. I have been very pleased with every pair of shoes I have purchased. Their shipping time is great. Sometimes I place an order in the afternoon and I receive the shoes the next day. I am a very pleased customer!

Love these shoes. My daughter has worn this shoe style from the time she grew into the offered sizes. The construction is great and the shoe is sturdy. This shoe is offered in a wider width also. The leather is a very good quality. She is growing out of the size range and I don't know if I'll find a comparable shoe. We've tried other styles but always come back to this shoe!

My children grew up with Stride Rite high top shoes and back then it was thought that children needed the ankle support to help their feet develop properly. Our granddaughter started walking on her 10 month birthday and within 10 days was going at full speed. I kept noticing that her ankles were twisting and that her feet kept rotating. I mentioned it to my daughter and explained about the high top shoe. We got her a pair and it has been worth every penny. She wears them most of the time and her feet are getting the support that they need. Today, it is hard to find a "shoe store" and thank goodness for the internet shopping sites. Their only complaint is that they think that the shoes make her feet smell. I discussed my theory and experience of washing between her toes really well and maybe powdering her shoes occasionally; we'll see if that works!

These are very cute and fit well. I was worried that my 6 year old wouldn't want velcro fasteners because they would be considered babyish. She was fine with these. A lot faster to get them on than to tie. Seem to be a hit.

The Picabo is a comfortable and cute athletic shoe.I was happy to find these, because we prefer tie shoes and have a difficult time finding any that are in her size. I like that the pink and white color scheme go with all my daughter`s clothes. She likes the girly detailing. She has wide feet, so I bought them in a wide and they fit her well and seem to be well made. My only warning is that the toe scuffed up very quickly. I really do like this shoe and feel like they were worth the price. Zappos had the shoe delivered the day after I ordered, so I was very impressed with their service.

Great little sneakers for active boys. The outer sole is flexible, yet they hold up very well to outdoor play. That's what's so great about Stride Rite shoes for kids, top notch quality, and super cute, too!

Zappos has a great selection of shoes, but the shoes are expensive! I just find a shoe you like on their site and then google it. There will be all sorts of stores that come up with that shoe for much cheaper!

I love Zappos! The shoes are great and the customer service is fantastic. I ordered these shoes at 1pm Thursday (choosing standard free shipping) and they were on my doorstep at 3pm the following day! For me, that is quicker than I could have gotten to the mall and back with my schedule! Zappos rocks! I will definitely be a repeat shopper. Thanks Zapppos! The shoe is very cute and try to size. My 2 1/2 year old can put them on herself also which is a plus.
