Great shoes! True to size and width. But most of all, Zappos is the best site to shop for shoes. They deliver fast and if you have to return something you get your refund without any delays. Makes me come back for more!

There's no doubt this is a really cute shoe. However, it isn't that comfortable. The sole is a really thick unbending construction. We expected something better for the foot from Stride Rite. If we'd opted for a sneaker, we would have gone with the Tsukihoshi instead, as those are so lightweight and flexible, but we ended up preferring a Naturino mary jane which was quite flexible and very pretty.

We are on our 4th pair of these shoes. My 4 year old loves these shoes because they are sturdy and comfortable. He has a very wide foot, and this shoe comes in extra wide size that is perfect for him.

T-Strap not good for a "puffy" top of foot. The wide width itself isn't really as wide as say, Jumping Jacks.

Great shoe. This is our second pair we have purchased for our son and he loves them. Sturdy, handsome, and comfortable. We will buy another pair when he grows out of these. Quality shoe.

My 7-year old son loves these shoes. He likes the wide size and Stride Rite has the best selection of this width. He wears these every day for every type of play. He usually outgrows them before they wear out. He likes them tight, so it would be nice if they extended the velcro strip on the sides. And we love the speedy delivery from Zappos!

We love the color and the overall fit. The sole is good too, sturdy but pliable for a young foot. However, I don't like the overall design. Instead of the two sides of the shoe meeting overtop the tongue of the shoe and then the straps fastening over that, only the tongue and straps fasten over the top of the foot. In my opinion, this is not enough support for a young foot. Additionally, if one of the straps is not fastened completely, the shoe can come partially or completely off, causing a child to trip. This design is also problematic in that when the child attempts to put the shoe on, she first has to stuff the tongue into the sides of the shoe and then fasten the straps over, which is hard to do and therefore doesn't always happen (the point of buying velcro fasteners is to give kids some independence). If the tongue is not stuffed in, the straps don't fasten, leading to the situation described above. I wish there were better options for velcro closed athletic-type shoes, but New Balance and Stride Rite both use this design.

I bought these shoes for my three year old grandson. My daughter and he love them. It's a good color to go with khakis or jeans. They were shipped very quickly. I will do business with Zappos in the future.

Do not recommend these shoes. They look cute, but they did not hold up well at all. After only 2 weeks, the shoes were falling apart. Disappointing, especially since I really liked the look of them when they first arrived.

Fabulous sneakers! They look adorable on my 2 year old daughter, are very easy to put on and close with the velcro strap. Would highly recommend.

So, here we are on our annual "Find black dress shoes for choir" expedition. My 7 year old has wide feet with a high arch/instep and we always find buying shoes difficult. Let me also say that we moved to the US from England where we have a better selection of width-fitting shoes and the sales assistants are trained in fitting (and will refuse to sell you something that doesn't fit even if you beg them!). Here's what we tried: Jumping Jacks Annika, Jumping Jacks Anna, Stride Rite Valerie, Stride Rite Valerie Jr, Jumping Jacks Marissa, Kenneth Cole Reaction - Dress Who, Stride Rite Vanessa. (By the way we got the widest width available in each shoe.) Here's what we found about each: JJ Anna - came up very small. We sized up a full size and got the length, but was still too tight in the width. JJ Annika - this was a close 2nd, but was a little tight across the toes then bagged in mid-foot so it was a strange fit for us. Stride Rite Valerie - too narrow and heel rather high for a 7 year old (in size 1.5Y). Stride Rite Valerie Jr - would have been nice, but too narrow and shallow in the front. JJ Marissa - too small and my daughter thought not dressy enough so we didn't pursue these. Kenneth Cole - looked wide-ish on the website picture, but not really! Stride Rite Vanessa - our winner, of sorts. They are pretty and an appropriate height and make a nice noise on our wood floors (very important when you're 7!). They still don't fit as well as they should. We went with a 1.5 when a 1 would have been better (but sold out). The ankle strap holds her foot securely so there is no slippage. The forefoot looks a little long, but there is width for her tights (even thicker ones). There is very little/no arch support. I would be concerned about this if they were everyday shoes, but since they are for dress I can live with it. Otherwise we'll end up spray painting her feet black because there is nothing else to choose from! Hope this is helpful. We're done, for another year!

We are very happy with these shoes. The leather uppers are made of quality, soft pliable materials. The soles are also flexible enough to develop foot strength, but supportive enough for quick sprints.

Cute, lightweight, sturdy. I especially liked that they are a solid color. Most other pink shoes had too many colorful decorations, making them less of a good match with multiple outfits.

This is a great house shoe: sturdy but comfortable. The sole is substantial enough to give a new walker stability. The slipper is difficult to get on at first, but we found after a few days of wearing, it was much easier. A really cute design!

I just wanted to update my earlier review of this shoe. The shoes turned out to be super washable. We wash them every two weeks, and they bounce right back to normal. Because of the mesh, the shoe dries super fast so that I can wash them while my daughter is taking a nap and she can wear them to go out in the afternoon. I\'ve also been able to put the cushion soles into the dryer without any shrinkage or other problems. Every shoe I get from now on will be washable. It makes such a difference. I\'ve also been able to have my daughter wear socks with these shoes, when it gets a little colder at night. Because of the mesh and the straps, it\'s easy to go from barefoot to socks with these shoes with no fit problems. And that reinforced toe has really stood up to my daughter\'s dragging her feet in her toy car. I love these shoes.

I purchased these shoes for my 2 year old and he loves them. They are comfortable, fit well, and look nice. They are also very durable, as my son is a very active 2 year old and has literally abused these shoes and they still look great! There are only a few negatives to this shoe. The first, and most annoying, is that the velcro closure will not stay closed! The velcro piece on the side of the shoe releases after only a very short period of time. My son has walked out of and/or tripped on his shoe countless times. The other negative is that the glow-in-the-dark "bubbles" on the side of the shoes have some sort of substance in them that solidifies and separates from the edges of the bubble and looks strange. It really is only noticeable when you are looking at the shoe closely. Overall a good shoe, but I would not buy them again because of the velcro issue.

My 2 1/2 year old son has been wearing this shoe daily (it's his only pair) for about 6 months now. The shoe is surprisingly light, think as light as a pair of Croc sandals. Unfortunately, the shoe has major signs of wear and tear. The silver toe is scuffed and the sole is noticeably worn. I was hoping that for this price bucks that my younger son would get some use out of them, but I'm skeptical. The H&L is very nice, adequate length and strength. Overall, the shoe looks great with casual sweats or jeans. A good shoe and Stride Rite is always predictable. My son's next pair will be Stride Rite because I know that their wide widths fit well on him. I will probably choose a different style.

The shoes are great quality. The only thing worth noting is that the tongue on the shoe is too short; it sinks below the shoelaces. Other than that, great product. Zappos continues to impress. This is my fourth purchase and I cannot say enough about their service.
