Great looking boot...a little stiff at first and need to be broken in, but they are worth the effort. I ordered them in my normal size and needed to go down half a size. They are great with skinny jeans or leggings.

Very uncomfortable! The shoes constantly slip off the back of the heel making it impossible to walk more than a few steps in them. They're really cute shoes, but not worth the expense or discomfort.

I was pleasantly surprised with this shoe. I'd had my heart set on a sexy pair of heels by Max Studio but when I hit 'check out' they'd already sold out! The shoe isn't too comfortable (rubs on the heel and is so tall that your foot slides forward) but is definitely smoking hot. Great shoe to wear out on the town for a few hours or for that knock-his-socks-off date. Saucy, but you'll be soaking your feet after a long night!

Fast shipping--even though I ordered them right around Christmas time. The boots are just like when I tried them on in a store (but chose to order them through Zappos!) The boots do fall quite a bit but I wear hair elastics around them because I love the look of the above the knee, but I do have rather thinner calves. very dark, really pretty! I am a true 9 but tried then on in a 8.5 and they fit GREAT!

Great boots! Love the low heel, perforated leather and buckles. They are edgy fun. The grey is really more of a bronze color and they go with all the browns in my closet. They look great with skirts. Zappos Rocks.

Disappointed - So these boots were actually on Rachel Zoe's favorites list, but she must not have tried them on! They run small and have no support in the arch and no cushioning in the sole. So bummed because they look great, but I returned after trying them on.

I bought these boots because I am moving to Chicago. So I needed nice pair of brown flat boots for walking around the city especially since right now I live in flip-flops. I had heard that Steve Madden shoes are uncomfortable, but after reading the good reviews I decided to take a chance. The leather is beautiful and the heel was just the right height. Unfortunately the fit was all wrong. I typically wear a 6 1/2 and decided to order a half size bigger to have room for thick socks. I tried them on with no socks and it was painful. The boot pinched tightly on the sides of my heel. The boot was also digging into where my the top of my foot and ankle meet. I don't know how people can walk in these boots. I had to return them.

Decent shoes, however not exactly what I expected. The rubber soles and not so narrow toe box were a surprise. A bit stiff at first, but after a few wearings, they are fine. Not the coolest Steve Maddens I ever worn but they will suffice.

I am a tough critic, and I like the boots OK. They are a little less than I expected but not because of the way they look but the way they fit. I think that the heel is definately loose and kinda bothers me. I do have muscular calfs and they fit just fine but not with jeans. I can't tell if they are slightly big or if that's the way they fit. After walking around for a bit I decided to keep the size I bought because I wasn't sure if the smaller size would be too small and didn't want to risk having to return them again. I am going to keep these boots. I give these boots a B-.

Wow!I'm a lady looking for a cute pair of oxfords, nothing was striking my fancy in the women's section, and having stumbled onto these, it was love at first sight. Very comfortable, there is a bit of elastic holding down the tongue of the shoe which is a bit uncomfortable to get on at first. I wear a 10 in womens and ordered a 7.5 and they fit perfectly.

I got these shoes for Christmas and absolutely love them. They are cute, comfortable, and surprisingly comfortable. I have bought shoes from stores like Aldo that were super cute, but I could barely walk in after an hour or so. Not the case with these shoes--they don’t pinch and provide pretty good arch support for a bootie.

The perfect boots!I was hesitant to purchase these boots because of their steep price, but after reading reviews of these shoes and hearing how great they are, I took the plunge---and I'm so glad that I did! These boots are amazing, honestly! They look fantastic and turned out better than I expected them to be! A lot of the reviews said that they run a half size smaller than usual, but I ordered my usual size 6 1/2 and they fit perfectly. The boots are also not completely black--they are more of a charcoal color--which I just love! I also love the blue zipper in the back--a perfect touch to make them a little edgy. I was afraid that since I have small calves that these boots would swallow them up, but they fit my calves perfectly--and with enough room to fit a pair of skinny jeans into. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone. I'm even thinking of ordering these in the cognac color as well!

I bought these shoes because I was looking for a pair of sexy date shoes. In red. And I was a little skeptical of the weird criss-crossing details, and thought they might look cheap or dated or something along those lines. They don’t. They are quite possibly the sexiest shoes I’ve ever owned. They’re comfortable, they’re tall, they’re soft suede, and they’re the most lovely shade of raspberry possible. They’re better than red shoes, they’re subtle. They’re better than leather, they’re soft suede. They’re perfect. I recommend these to all girls who want a night out on the town and want to look classy, not cheap.

Felt 1/2 smaller and the heel is wide, so my foot goes up and down when I walk. They are very cute though and I’m not sure if I’ll keep them or try for a larger size.

I got these as a Christmas present and they're PERFECT. Great fit and they look gorgeous. Only problem is that I can't tighten them all the way on my skinny calves, but they still look super cute all slouchy. Pair them with colored tights and a cute skirt!

FABULOUS shoe. Got instant compliments. The stylish crackly patent finish perfectly contrasts/updates the retro granny look. (Weird, yes, but that’s a compliment.) The low heel is perfect for my bad knee. Not much cushion, but since the heel isn’t very high, it’s not terribly uncomfortable. I am a very true size 9.5 and I ordered a 10 in this shoe because in my experience, Steve Madden runs just a tiny bit small. I was right. The 10 fit perfectly. (In Tribeca and Kenneth Cole shoes, I’m a perfect 9.5.) This is a fantastic shoe to wear both with slacks or jeans, but I highly recommend pairing them with a skirt or dress. MUCH easier to show them off!

I love these boots! I bought the grey ones and it looks just like the picture more of a grey-taupe color. They feel and look very expensive and chic. Beautiful is all I can say :) Zappos you are amazing as always!

There is no traction on the bottom of these, but I loved them so much. So, I just put the little grip pads you can stick on the bottom of shoes. The boots slouch down an inch from the tallest point you can pull them up, too. But, over jeans, the stay up nicely. Nice suede. Spray with protective spray to delay water damage! There is really no arch support, but you can add in cushion. Ordering a size down gets you to your true size, but if you want to add some cushioning or support, then get your normal size.

I love these boots! I was worried that they would be too small after I ordered them because a lot of the reviews say to order a half size up but that was not the case. When I first put them on, they were definitely snug, but the leather stretched right away and now they fit perfectly. They would have been WAY too big if I had ordered up. They are super comfy and now I want to order them in brown!
