Overall:

I just got my boots in the mail today and I am extremely satisfied. I tried them on in the store so I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear and it worked out perfectly. I have skinny calves so I have a hard time finding boots that don\'t sag or bunch, these are perfect with skinny jeans or tights with a dress. I wouldn\'t recommend these boots for people with larger calves. Overall I am very happy and I look forward to wearing them all winter long.

These are very cute boots! Just got mine today and I was very sad to realize that they felt so small. Maybe it is the very pointy toe, but if you order these go at least a half size up! Only disappointed I didn't get to wear them today.

I loved the look of this shoe, but was so disappointed. When I got them, I noticed the cork wedge was bubbled up, a lot, but thought maybe that was the way they were to be. I wore them out and asked people. They said it looked bad, but they are comfortable. So I called Zappos and they sent me another pair. I asked them to check the cork before they sent them. I got the new pair, same thing, bad cork and this pair the beads/studs were coming off in the back. So I am sending them both back. For this price, they should be quality, not junk. I took them to a shoe store and was told they were faulty. Too bad because I love this shoe. If they were $20, fine, but not this price. Online they show the cork as being tight and perfect, but both orders were bubbled. I am sure they would fall apart. So after much debate, I am returning both pairs. Too bad.

Great work shoe! I've been looking for some flats that fully cover my foot, because my feet get so cold during the winter months. These are just what I was looking for, and fit right in with the Berkeley hipster look. After reading the reviews I decided to order a half size up. I usually wear 7-7 1/2, so I ordered an 8 and they are perfect. I have pretty narrow feet, so they are a little wide, but after I put an insole in (recommended, not the most comfortable shoes in the world, but better than heels!) they fit a lot better. I walked over two miles in these shoes, with an insole, the first day I wore them with no blisters and minimal pain. Ordered on a Tuesday and received on Wednesday. Gotta love Zappos!

Love these shoes! They are very high, but worth it. Very sexy! I sometimes have a problem with pinching on my toes but not with these, they fit great & are true to size. Sometimes with heels this high you can go a size down since your foot is going to slide down into them anyway, but I am a 7 & ordered a 7 & they are perfect! I am going to get some insoles to go in them as after a night of wearing them the balls of my feet hurt, but as I said before they are very high so that was to be expected.

These are so cute! Not the most comfy ever, but I did stay on my feet for a few hours in them without problems. They seem to run a little small.

OK, so I thought I ordered the 9.5, and these were a tad snug in the toe area. I wear between a size 9 and 9.5. They are so darn cute, and I couldn't possibly wait for a different size in the mail. I had to wear them immediately. I ordered them in fushia, and they are smokin' sexy. They are very tall, but not at all trashy, which is hard to pull off in a 5 inch pink platform. I give these shoes two thumbs up!

Unsure about these... Liked the style, color, etc. but found some things that I wouldn\'t expect on a shoe of this price. First of all, these seem to run a half-size large, so order accordingly. The biggest disappointment however is the fact that they were unable to polish the complete shoe underneath the band. This does show and makes the shoe look much cheaper than what I paid for... I may be returning these the more I think about it. It\'s too bad... They seem to be made well but I\'ve purchased much less expensive loafers that fit better, were made just as well AND were cosmetically better.

My daughter and I were watching the Oprah segment about shoes and bags. She saw some amazing boots and voila, we found a great pair on Zappos. The price was right. The delivery quick and easy. They are a touch snug on me so she tried them on. Well, she now has an amazing pair of grey, soft, suede boots that she lives in! We may have to buy another pair that she actually tries to keep for dress wear. She couldn't be happier. I may order my own pair now.

I bought these shoes looking for a black bootie-ish boot. I wore them around the city for about 2 hours and they rubbed my poor big toes raw! This was about 2 months ago, and my toes are still healing from these boots. Since I paid so much for them, I want to get my money's worth, so from now on, I only wear them for short amounts of time, with thick socks and wrap my big toes in bandaids! My feet aren't even wide and I bought the right size; they felt great in the store! Just beware.

I have wide calves, but these boots slipped on easily. However, I\'ve only used them with leggings and I haven\'t tried them with skinny jeans yet. Overall, these boots are very comfortable.

Oh my goodness. I bought this shoe in black leather, and it was so ridiculous looking on me that I saved a photo for my friends to see before I returned them! I have exceptionally slim legs and ankles though, so I'm sure these could be very cute on someone with average legs, or longer legs than me. I have to say, I was really impressed with how quickly my shoes were exchanged and returned through Zappos. I will definitely shop Zappos again and again!

Agreeing with other reviews that indicated the boot is a bit narrow in the leg, so unless you have thin calves (mine are average size), it will likely be difficult to get your skinny jeans in these (which I hoped to do). I plan to keep them regardless of whether or not my jeans will fit in them.\r\n\r\nThey are true to size in foot length and width. Very cute; the leather quality and color are what I expected so the pictures are accurate. Perfect heel height to wear casually or dressed up.

I was looking for a black riding boot for quite some time. Something a bit rugged, and classic. I love this boot. I got the black. Now I am usually a 7, but for some reason, it was quite big, so I ordered the 6.5, which in one foot was slightly too tight. I brought to shoemaker, and he gave me a stretch liquid, which I used on the boot, and it's fantastic! Perfect. And Zappos is just unbelievable; service is always the best! I am thin, and it fits my calf just perfect and is not too high, good shaft height for me, I'm about 5 ft 5 in. The black leather in the picture does look a little shiny, in person it's much more of a "matte" leather, which I think is 'richer' looking. Great boot for a classic woman, who doesn't just shop the "trends." Will work with skirts, skinny jeans, dresses and even long shorts. I cut a pair and made them into long bermuda shorts, pair with turtleneck and these boots! Add a fun scarf, too! Love it! Thanks Zappos; you're the best!

The shoes are really cool looking and pretty comfortable. The size is true. However, after just one week of wear to work, the brown color started to chip from the front and rear of the shoes. The outer color chips off and the color underneath is bright orange. I haven\'t gotten to it yet, but I will be sending these shoes back for a refund. I imagine this happens to more people than just me. Even if it is the way I sit at my desk that causes this, it should not happen after just one week. I would not buy this shoe again.

I bought this shoe for my son - he wears 14, medium width - the shoe was true to fit. The shoe is very stylish and comfortable. Shipping as usual was fast - Zappos is the best.

Roomy toes help make these (for the heel height) very comfortable boots, and I walk a lot. The leather is soft and good quality and I love the style. I would not recommend trying to fit these over jeans, as they would be rather tight around the calf. Other than that, a great deal!

Hawt shoe! Definitely a head turner! I am a 9 1/2 - 10 so I got the 10 black & it fits perfect! I recommend you get whatever size you normally wear in Steve Madden shoes. Comfortable shoe & very versatile; wear with tights for work & without to go out! Love them!

This shoe looks so cute on the rack but not on the foot. If only was it a tad larger in the opening. I don't think I have particularly huge calves. I'm 5'6", 130 lbs and wear a size 6.5 or 7 shoe. For this particular shoe, I had to go for an 8 and I could hardly get the opening to go over my jeans. It was super tight. Good thing I tried them on at the store first. They have these boots at Nordstrom Rack. I wouldn't recommend unless you have less than none/no calves.

Shoe looks great. Had to send it back twice though to get the right size. I normally wear a 11.5-12 and I had to get a 10.5 in these shoes to fit me.

I ordered these boots for my daughter. She loves them. They look adorable with her dresses and skirts. The boots are wonderful and the service you get with Zappos is great! I can't say enough about the great service you get. The order always arrives quickly and exchanges and returns are so simple and it's all on them. No shipping cost! Zappos is the only place to shop!

I was really unhappy with the boots. They didn't stay up, one side around the knee was tighter than the other and they weren't comfortable, but what didn't work out for me worked out good for my sister so I gave them to her.
