Ordered these a half size larger (10 vs. 9.5). The width is just right. I would imagine 9.5s would stretch out eventually. The sole is very comfortable and the insert is nicely cushioned. The color for the Tan/White combination is a bit lighter then the photograph. The brown is not as dark as it appears.

FIT: I ordered size 8M and the fit, in general, is just a tad narrow in width and a tad too long in length. If the width was only a 1/2 inch wider and the length a 1/2 inch shorter, then the fit would be perfect. I would NOT recommend this shoe if you have fairly wide feet (ordering a bigger size will result not just in a slightly wider fit but a longer length so please think twice before ordering a bigger size than what you normally wear). STYLE/GENERAL APPEARANCE: Overall, the physical appearance is very spiffy and classy. That's about all I can really say. (What more is there to say, really?) QUALITY/COMFORT/WORKMANSHIP/MATERIALS: According to the information stamped inside the shoe, the country of manufacture is overseas and the uppers are leather while the insole and outsole are all man-made materials. I always prefer leather linings, leather insoles, and leather outsoles simply because leather breathes while rubber does not. After wearing them on the first day, I noticed the insoles are a bit stiff and not as pliable and soft and comfortable as leather. The heel lifts are a very heavy-duty rubber and they look like they can take quite a pounding on the pavement. The outsoles, at first glance, look like leather but upon closer inspection are definitely a synthetic heavy-duty smooth-looking rubber (or something like that); overall, it looks like the outsoles are very durable. The laces are far too short for the shoes so I had to replace them with longer laces (no big deal). Overall, I know this is not the greatest quality shoe ever (what else did I expect for the price) but it looks like it's a decent shoe for the price I paid. OTHER COMMENTS: For the price I paid, I don't think I have much to lose. I won't be wearing these shoes any more than about once a week and I intend to wear them mainly during the summer months, not fall/winter.

Not even close in size - Nice shoe, but these are WAY bigger than actual size. I ordered 8.5 (wear 9-9.5 in Nike) and need to go down to an 8 or 7.5 which are out of stock on both sizes as of this review. I also ordered a pair of Stacy Adams Kwiet in 8.5 and they fit perfect. So, I will return for refund and order something else. Really like the look of these shoes, wish right size was in stock.

Just amazing - I bought these shoes for my senior prom and they were everything I thought they would be. I had an old pair of Stacy Adams Spatz, and thought I needed new ones, worth the price, cheap for such a great look, I love em!

Smart Steppin' I wanted a sandal that looked stylish but gave me comfort and this Satcy Adams' Ridgecrest met the standard . . . I can dress up and look classy or dress down with a pair of jeans and still get compliments either way . . . my main size is 11, but I settled for a 10.5 and got the look and feel I needed . . . the black one is what I have and I ordered the congac once it came in . . . I do like sandals and these are ones that I am glad to have in my collection . . . I recommend them to anyone who like style and comfort.

Very nice boot but wears out quickly - This shoe can be worn without breaking it in, right out of the box. Very comfortable. Quite a few people have asked me who makes the shoe and where I got it. It is a very nice looking dress boot. My only complaint is that the soles don't hold up well. I buy two pairs, wear them every day, and find that after six months the soles get holes. I just buy two more pair and start over.

Stacy Adams Magnus Black and White - These are very nice looking shoes. They came packaged well. The shoes fit a little snug for the size compared to other Stacy Adams models the same size. They are, however, just as comfortable and quite striking in appearance.

Love these shoes. Fast break-in, as good with a suit as they are w/jeans. Wore them new on a week-long business trip spanning Tokyo by train, car and foot, with no complaints on comfort. The boot is a nice way to make a simple cap-toe look fashionably different.

Love them - I brought the shoes for my son's prom, he loves them. He states they are so comfortable that he was wearing them around the house. They look really nice with his tuxedo. I love ordering from Zappos, you usually get your item the next day and there's no shipping/handling fees or no taxes. I love Zappos!!!

Looks good on the outside - These shoes look good on the outside but they contain some kind of smell from the inside. Not sure what it is, a glue or some kind of material used inside. Not sure how often will wear these to tell you the truth.

Look nice out of the box - These shoes look great when taking them out of the box. The leather was very stiff and was uncomfortable to wear. It took 3 weeks to break them in so they no longer hurt to wear. The soles of the shoes were made with very soft leather. After 4 months of use working in an office, there are holes wearing at the bottom. I would not recommend this shoe to anyone.

Awesome - Gave it 5 stars although it's a little narrow for my feet initially and sole didn't have much support/padding, but these had simple remedies. Got some gel sole inserts - I'm gellin', and it's fitting nice and snug after a month of breaking it in. Getting great compliments for the looks, it's matching most of my light colored suits, and so far don't see any defect or any unusual wear and tear - danced all night with them at a wedding last weekend... feet didn't hurt. Very satisfied. Btw, I swear, Zappos might have distributor a block away from me because all my orders got to me lightning fast.

VERY NICE - Very well constructed, nice materials, good fit. Looks great with a pair of khakis. My only downside was the side construction. Where the side straps were sewn into the footbed rubbed on the soles of my feet. But overall I was very happy with the sandals.

Nice shoe - Bought these for dancing, and they worked well for that purpose paired with a 1930's vintage double breasted suit. They were quite comfortable even the first night I wore them. There is no arch support, to speak of, but they readily accepted my aftermarket 3/4 length insoles. Usually I wear a size 13, so that is what I initially ordered... but those were a full size too large. No problem though. Reported that to Zappos and they delivered the correct size the very next day. Can't say enough about how amazed I am at how quickly they get things out the door! These days I buy all my shoes at Zappos!

Satisfied customer - This shoe wore well, I do a lot of dancing the soles were nice and smooth. I was able to glide across the dance floor. So many shoes made today have a thick rubber sole underneath that make it difficult to dance in.

Beautiful Boot - This boot shines on every level. Hard to believe I got them for this price and I had high hopes from the photo. The cut is beautiful and the foot-bed is really comfortable (I pound the pavement in them in NYC).

My Favourite Shoes!! I love retro styles, so when I found these boots, I was pretty excited. By from the first day I got them I LOVED how they felt. They quickly became my favourite shoes. I'm now considering getting a second pair in black. One important thing...find a good shoe repair place. They hold up great, but you will want to take extra good care of them, as you miss them when they are away from you too long. My guy cleans them, repairs them, moisturizes them, and really keeps them up to snuff. Everyone who sees them thinks they look super sharp and cool and they all ask where I got them. COMPLETE WINNERS!

Oh, I say! A more comfortable boot I have not known, in timeless style and grace. I wear boots 90% of the time, broken only by chuck taylors, and I won't lie -- I've been quite impressed with how these fit and wear.
