Overall:

I have owned Stacy Adams shoes before and have always found them to be a good shoe for the money. This Farrell fits right in line with this notion. They are not expensive so I did not expect the quality that comes with a much higher price tag. I was, however, pleasantly surprised with the fit and feel. They were comfortable right out of the box and required no "breaking in" time. They seem to run true to size. I have been wearing them for about three weeks and they still look good. Sometimes shoes with a shiny leather finish can start to look very worn on the fold area, thus making them look older than their age. This is not the case with these Stacy Adams. The upper leather is softer than it looks and appears to be wearing well. These shoes will not last you a lifetime, but they will look and feel good while they do last.

Classic look, holds a lasting shine, a real secure comfort fit, look great dress up or dress down. Noticed by all when I wear them. Suggest you do what I did; buy two pairs, one brown, one black.

My father raves about these shoes. My father does not get excited very easily and is a man of few words usually. But for as long as I can remember he has raved and stood by his Stacy Adams shoes. He adores these in particular because of the classic old school look, comfortable and quality. He has had numerous pairs through the years and the shoes and this brand has stood the test of time! Try them out for yourselves. You should have seen the smile on his face when I surprised him with these shoes.

The sizes run just a tad big, which is fine for me. Very comfortable and stylish; however, there were a few things to take note of. The leather is not very thick and the overall feel of the shoe seems "cheap", but they look nice. The laces that came with mine were too short and I couldn't lace up the top rows, but that's always covered anyway. Overall, a decent shoe for the money, though I'd be upset if I had to paid more.

Good look. More narrow than expected at first, although that is the case with many shoes for me. I put paper towels in toe at night and now they fit just fine. Maybe a touch longer in length than what the size would indicate. Good value.

I was looking for a boot such as the Madison for a long time. I got on the internet and saw this boot on Zappos website. The price was fantastic. The quality and fit were perfect. I liked them so much that I ordered another pair. Had a chance to talk to customer service. The service was the best. I'm definitely going to order my shoes from Zappos. Simply the best for price, service and quality.

This shoe/boot has been terrific for me. I was actually not looking for fancy but for comfort and support. I got what I wanted. I have trouble buying shoes that remain comfortable. When I get \'em, they might feel good for a while but then end up on the shelf. This boot was good out of the box and remains very comfortable.

I bought these shoes for my boyfriend to wear at a wedding. They look amazing and he looks hot in them! We've walked around for hours in NYC and he's always sworn they are absolutely comfortable. For the price, they are amazing; they look like a much more expensive shoe and can be worn with suits or jeans. Stacy Adams rocks!

Smooth as Silk Daytons. High gloss patent finish makes any daytime or after dark social occasions wonderful for the person wearing them. Everyone will be checkin' out those fly kicks and givin' you all kinds of compliments. I got solid black and the black & whites.

Excellent shoe. I wear them daily to work. Comfortable, true fit, great looking. Zappos upgraded my shipping and I literally got the shoes two days after ordering. Amazing. Zappos is my go to shoe source. \r\n\r\nStacy Adams= excellent brand of shoe. Affordable, comfortable, look great. I always feel like a million bucks in their shoes.

These are elegant, very nice and even though you cannot tell by the pictures, they have a shine to them that makes them stand out. They are leather with croc print and it is hard to tell they are not real croc, this makes them look very expensive. A very comfortable shoe with or without socks. Zappos has the best price on line for this model, so you cannot go wrong.

Very nice shoes, stylin and comfortable. They look slick with any suit and really pick up your appearance because they aren't typical dress shoes. Very pointy toes with soft bottoms make you want to dance. The laces come undone if you single knot them, but a double knot fixes that, so no big deal.

I never thought I'd go for the square toe design but once I got a pair I got them again in my next order and have since gone through 4 pairs of this shoe already. The design is great, they look very sharp. I order 2 every year. They could use a little more cushioning in the sole though. Always order a half size smaller because of the square toe area it leaves so much more room.

The Stacy Adams shoe Ii purchased rocks because of its unique style and quality. This shoe is very comfortable and it does not take that long to break it in either. Once the shoe is broken in your feet will thank you for purchasing this shoe because it is that comfortable.

I have put my shoes about four times for church, and I am starting to see a fade of shine running across my shoes. Between the toe and the bend of the shoe. Its closer to the bend, like just before it. My son tells me it's because of my pants. But my pants don't go down that far. Why?

These are very nice shoes. I have been shopping for a nice pair of black dress shoes for months now and to no avail. But I got these in the mail and tried them on. They are lightweight enough to wear around casually. They are classier than most and can be worn with a suit and tie. I highly recommend these shoes.

Me, oh, my... what a disappointment these shoes turned out to be! And I love Stacey Adams' shoes, too. Bought these in "taupe", which should have been my very first clue. The color is "butt-ugly" to be polite. And the finish is glossy. And then there's all that lacing. Well, let's just say, no go, joe!

I like the shoes, but I had two issues with them - 1) New pair had a strong smell of leather, but it went away after a couple of days. 2) Leather is a little hard so takes longer to break in and become comfortable. Everything said they are really stylish and a good pair of show overall.

Ordered these a half size larger (10 vs. 9.5). The width is just right. I would imagine 9.5s would stretch out eventually. The sole is very comfortable and the insert is nicely cushioned. The color for the Tan/White combination is a bit lighter then the photograph. The brown is not as dark as it appears.

FIT: I ordered size 8M and the fit, in general, is just a tad narrow in width and a tad too long in length. If the width was only a 1/2 inch wider and the length a 1/2 inch shorter, then the fit would be perfect. I would NOT recommend this shoe if you have fairly wide feet (ordering a bigger size will result not just in a slightly wider fit but a longer length so please think twice before ordering a bigger size than what you normally wear). STYLE/GENERAL APPEARANCE: Overall, the physical appearance is very spiffy and classy. That's about all I can really say. (What more is there to say, really?) QUALITY/COMFORT/WORKMANSHIP/MATERIALS: According to the information stamped inside the shoe, the country of manufacture is overseas and the uppers are leather while the insole and outsole are all man-made materials. I always prefer leather linings, leather insoles, and leather outsoles simply because leather breathes while rubber does not. After wearing them on the first day, I noticed the insoles are a bit stiff and not as pliable and soft and comfortable as leather. The heel lifts are a very heavy-duty rubber and they look like they can take quite a pounding on the pavement. The outsoles, at first glance, look like leather but upon closer inspection are definitely a synthetic heavy-duty smooth-looking rubber (or something like that); overall, it looks like the outsoles are very durable. The laces are far too short for the shoes so I had to replace them with longer laces (no big deal). Overall, I know this is not the greatest quality shoe ever (what else did I expect for the price) but it looks like it's a decent shoe for the price I paid. OTHER COMMENTS: For the price I paid, I don't think I have much to lose. I won't be wearing these shoes any more than about once a week and I intend to wear them mainly during the summer months, not fall/winter.

Not even close in size - Nice shoe, but these are WAY bigger than actual size. I ordered 8.5 (wear 9-9.5 in Nike) and need to go down to an 8 or 7.5 which are out of stock on both sizes as of this review. I also ordered a pair of Stacy Adams Kwiet in 8.5 and they fit perfect. So, I will return for refund and order something else. Really like the look of these shoes, wish right size was in stock.
