So what's the common denominator for all these people? It's their insatiable love of sneakers. Shoes, sneakers, trainers, slip-ons, ball shoes or kicks. No matter how you slice it, sneakers will be there by your side.

Whether you need a new pair of Saucony running shoes for that marathon around the corner or if you demolished your Etnies doing switch tre flips over that 6 stair, always know that Zappos has you covered and will always bring you the latest styles and greatest technology the world has to offer, along with those good ole classics you've grown up wearing. I have been wearing Vans since the early 80s. The reason I am writing this review is that over the last year (from 2013-2014), the quality of these shoes has dropped dramatically. Previously, these shoes would last me about 6 months to a year of weekly (but not daily) normal wear. I never skate in Eras, so this is just walking around and driving and stuff like that. The last few pairs I have gotten have lasted 4 to 6 months max. What I noticed changed is that the soles wear down twice as fast. This is especially the case when I wear them to drive my car, which has a manual transmission. Shifting and using the gas kills the rear edges of the soles, which is ridiculous for a skate shoe. Vans needs to maintain a higher level of quality for their sneakers. I feel that their quality is actually going down rather than up currently. I am a loyal wearer of Vans shoes but this is ridiculous because I only wear sneakers when I am off work and relaxing, so not every day, and not all day. I will be looking to other options when my current pair wears out.
  • Saucony by Omni 13 Posted: Sep 11, 2014 Reviewer: Tom Henderson from Rockford, Illinois, USA Overall: 5 Stars Comfort: 5 Stars Look: 5 Stars
Saucony Omni 13 are the best running shoes I have ever owned! I'm 6 ft tall, 212 lbs and am an over-pronator with low arch feet, and a long history of knee injuries and shin splints from running. This year a new type of injury arose after about three months of getting back into running, pain in the balls of my feet, while wearing another premium brand of running shoe. After reading Runner's World Fall 2014 Shoe Guide, I purchased a pair of these awesome shoes. With Saucony Omni 13 I have been able to increase my monthly mileage by over 50%, dropped my average practice pace by about 1 minute per mile, and virtually eliminated any pain in the balls of my feet and knees. These shoes offer incredible foot support, virtually eliminate over-pronation, and have awesome padding in the fore-foot as well as the heel. This was my first pair of Saucony running shoes, but as long as they continue to build shoes like this, I'll be a customer. And where will I be buying my shoes? Not at my local running store, because they don't carry the Omni 13. They told me it it's a higher end running shoe than they generally carry. I'll be buying from Zappos.com, where they offer free shipping both ways. Yes, I tested those waters when I sent back a recent pair of ultra-padded running shoes just prior to this purchase. If you have flat feet, you probably over-pronate and you need a shoe that is designed for that condition. Saucony Omni 13 is that shoe. Oh yeah... and they're light as the wind.

I ordered these shoes for my husband who usually wears an 11 medium. I ordered an 11 1/2 Medium because comments I read said it ran small. However it was too narrow. So I had to return it. The 11 1/2 Wide was out of stock so I obtained one elsewhere. That sixe fitt fine.
