Smartwool Reviews
Very nice weight but I have gotten holes in two pairs from shoes. Same place, top of big toe bone. So, while I'm keeping as I've worn, I wouldn't buy again. Now I have to pay to get them sewn. Boo.

These socks really fit well(I ordered size M, my shoe size is 9 - 9½). They are shaped to the foot and the seams are unnoticeable. I love the Berry color as it is fun and bright. I can wear them to the gym several times before they need washing. I launder them in a mesh bag because the washer likes to eat small socks and the mesh bag reminds me to hang them to dry, which they do in no time at at all. I haven't had them long enough to see how they will hold up. Other Smartwool socks wear pretty fast in the ball of the the foot and heel - not holes, but the wooly yarn disappears and they become see-through. I still love all Smartwool, and all merino wool clothing in general.

Our family are wool sock converts, I got these to replace all of my cotton micros, I love the thickness (they are right in the middle) great socks!

Love them, no complaints! I tried these, the Smartwool hiphugger, and the Ice Breaker Hipkini all wonderful! I threw out all my inferior cotton undies. Only wish there were more colors.

This is a great top, I have been switching over to wool where I can and this was a nice addition I will use it as a layer in the winter and as a workout top when it is warm out.

Wonderfully soft, easy layering piece, thin/close-fitting (not bulky), great intense color. Have had one in black for a few years, washes well and keeps its shape.
I had to return these ped socks because they would not stay on my heel. They slipped down into my shoes (two different pairs of shoes) after five minutes of wearing. I had ordered the size medium (7-9.5) because I wear size 9.5 shoes. I then returned the medium and ordered the large. Same problem. I ended up buying Roxy brand, and Cole Haan, both of which stay up on my heel.

Bottom line - My feet sweat. I was a bit unsure of getting these wool socks - but this is now my second order and I love them. I can wear them with my fancy work shoes and leave them on when I come home and wear my gym shoes. Great pair of socks and worth the money!
These are by far the best dress socks I have ever owned. I am a big fan of wool and these socks take the cake. I don't care for my day to day socks having much or any cushioning, so don't bother if you're looking for some. These are hardy socks that fit, are comfortable and keep looking black every day.
Very comfortable from the moment I put them on. My feet have stayed dry and cool all day in my running shoes even in 90+ degree weather! I will be ordering more in other colors. I bought the silver and which is a very nice light neutral grey. Great product, highly recommend.

It seems silly to write a review for socks but they are really great. I ordered a size down to be sure that they would stay on: mission accomplished.
Received this yesterday (thanks for the fast 1-day service Zappos!). Is exactly as shown in the picture - cute, trendy and a a fun addition to your boring hiking wardrobe. I like the weight - thick and toasty but breathable. Even though it's merino wool, not itchy at all!
Love SmartWool; soft, comfortable, never clammy, doesn't stink like synthetic technical fabrics! Was hoping to use this for warm season biking but it is super-lightweight fabric; not something I would wear except under another garment. Also these run snug; I need an XL for my size 12 frame to have a fit like in the photo.

This are very comfortable and look great. I buy them a size larger than normal because I don't want them supertight and they aren't baggy. So the size depends on how tight you like them. They don't ride up too much and probably one of the best pair of underwear I have bought. Expensive.

The best socks ever. Keep my feet warm in the operating room, but never sweaty. Great with both running shoes and Danskos. I've never been a "sock" person per se, but I find myself wearing these all the time, because my feet feel better in them than naked. I try to pick them up whenever they're on sale, but they're worth the price and hold up well even after 6 months of frequent washing.
Awesome product for those little low-cut slippers. Very comfortable. Dry quickly after washing so they are ideal for travel.
