Smartwool Reviews
I'm a big Smart Wool fan but had not seen these peds before so was excited to try them. The cut is great, and they don't show with any of my shoes. But I find my toes are cramped in them. So somewhat uncomfortable. Not much give.
The FIRST TIME I wore these socks, each one got a hole: one in toe and one in heel! UNBELIEVABLE! I looked at one of the other pairs (3 in package) and they look VERY weak. These were very expensive and I am really disappointed!
These are not as "secret" as I'd hoped, but with a little wiggling they do "hide" in my ballet flats and some of my dress shoes, and they do make those shoes more comfortable to wear. I think I'll be looking for something more like nylon/thinner material that actually has a heel and a toe (rather than just a big oval) to wear in my more open dress shoes.

Yes! It's a bit expensive for a t-shirt, but I'm telling you if you've not worn SmartWool this is the product you want if you sweat and don't like to stink. Or you would like to sweat less. I live in a climate where summers are 90+ with lots of humidity. This shirt has the benefit of managing body temperature. It doesn't really "wick" it just breathes and allows sweat to evaporate thus cooling the body and preventing even more sweat. No, you won't stop sweating because you wear this shirt. However, it does help. And this shirt does not stink like sweat even if it is damp or wet with sweat. It just doesn't. It smells fresh as a daisy. Really. Merino wool does that.
I am returning these socks. I thought they were thin and soft like merino wool. Instead, they are thick and scratchy.

Excellent socks for hot weather. They stay cool and dry even in the sticky Florida summer heat. They are very thin and light, and I would agree with the other reviewer, Jess, that they almost feel like dress socks. Regardless, they work great as casual socks, or for sports when you don't need/want the extra bulk. This is my first experience with Smartwool, so I'm curious to see how long they hold up before I buy enough to replace my 'wardrobe'.

I am a chick and I wanted these socks for a pair of workout shoes that we just a little too big. I do not use inserts anymore, so I looked for a heavier sock. Have Smartwool socks but could not find no see ums in women's, so I bought the mens. They fit great and I wanted grey, but can't see much of sock anyway. I will buy again. Also I priced them out in town and Zappos price rocked.

These are my favorite smartwool socks for all seasons, wish they continued to make several designs.

I love wool but never considered it for underwear - until now! The material is incredible. They are comfortable on, breathe better than traditional underwear fabric, and everything they say about wool garments remaining fresh despite multiple wearings is true. Great for traveling and especially backpacking. Fit is what you'd expect in a bikini. One point - not much elastane (Lycra) - they stretch, yes, but sag a tiny bit.
These are gorgeous footless tights, however they run extremely small...even smaller than the basic black Smartwool footless tights. These also fit with more of a control top style which I don't find comfortable. Unfortunately, I will be sending these back which is a shame since they are so darn pretty.
Great socks! Dry quickly, don't make my feet sweat (don't be turned off by merino wool) and super comfortable. Brought 6 pairs with me on a two month backpacking trip, and very glad I did.
I purchased 10 different pairs of socks from the "best of lists" and this was one of those ten, and the only ones I purchased from Zappos. The socks fit very well, the size was right on, the actually stay on my feet and do not creep down into the shoe. The only down side would be the thickness. They are on the heavy side, but for some that is not an issue. Great sock...
I got this for my boyfriend and he LOVES it, he wears it all the time. He has pretty long hair that is always falling in his eyes and this keeps it out. It's very lightweight, so he's comfortable in warm weather. I don't think it's super good looking, but he does. It fits well and retains its shape. He wore it nearly 2 months straight before I snuck it away to wash it, and it hadn't stretched out and showed nearly 0 wear, so it's well made. I wish this came in more colors, and I would buy him a couple more!

I was looking for cycling socks. I normally wear Pearl Izumis but wanted to try something new. I was worried about them being wool. I hate hot feet especially during a ride. But they said they would not. I loved the color and the fact they came sized was great. I wear 11. Most women's socks stop at 9 or 10. After my first ride in 85° heat they were wonderful. Super comfortable, stayed on, wicked sweat very well. I will be buying more.
Very comfortable and they don't show with most of my ballet flats. I bought one size down from my actual foot size, based on other reviews, and the fit is perfect. Also, based on others' recommendation, I hand wash them to avoid shrinkage.
You have those flats are *almost* but not quite comfortable. You're heading out the door in your cute flats, but know that your feet are going to be cold in the 50 degree weather...these Smartwool ballet socks are the solution to the problem. Your feel will be comfy in any temp, and the fine gauge wool makes pesky toe-chafing a thing of the past! I've worn cotton socks of this type, but they weren't as good as Smartwool in comfort, sweat management, and long term wear. These socks are worth the expense.
Very cute but won't stay on my feet. I wear a size 8 and read the reviews to order a size smaller. I ordered the small and the fit but keep coming off in my shoe.

Socks fit perfect over a normal human calf without red marks. Wear for 16 hour shifts and remain comfortable. Wash and dry well in machine. Would purchase again.
These work great if you plan on wearing them with loafers or tennis shoes...not so well with ballet flats. Other than that they are as advertised. Gave it three stars because of the sock showing when you wear ballet flats.
I really like the Smartwool socks. They don't seem to hold on to the moisture created when I workout and they do not slide down my heel inside my shoe! The stay put and don't rub the wrong way. I also like that they don't show above my shoe at all.
