Overall:

Just took these out of the box, and I'm not sure I'm ever going to take them off! Much more comfortable than bare feet - I'm a product evangelist now. Everyone should have a pair or three of these light, supportive, cushy shoes!

Overall:

I have physical problems that make it hard to go outside for exercise. I wear these shape ups around the house I am benefiting from the effects they have on my balance, muscle strength, posture and core muscles. The shoes are beautiful and exceptionally well made. They are a perfect fit and feel wonderful. I had excellent service which sold me on Zappo's.

I am a 5'4", 62 year old "yoga" addict and I love these shoes! They help me stand and walk "taller"! And they have definitely improved my balance. When I put them on, they make me want to walk. When I am not wearing my yoga sandals, I am wearing these! And, they are really cute!

These boots are great for doing my daily walking when there is snow or ice on the ground. They are comfortable and true to size. Not quite like walking in the Shape Up sneakers, but great in bad weather when you don't want to go out in sneakers!

These shoes are very comfortable and were from the start. I put them on and wore them out that same night, something I am almost never able to do. The arch support could be a little better but the shoe is still comfortable. Also, I have narrow feet and they are not a bit too wide. I hope to be able to purchase the black pair later.

After much research on the new Shape ups, Zappos had the best prices and return policy. I ordered a pair and had them within 24 hours even though estimated shipping was 3 to 5 days. My first pair was a little tight so I ordered the next size up and again had them within 24 hours.

These shoes feel okay when walking on a flat surface, but make you feel off balance on any uneven terrain. The style is cute and they are pretty comfortable, except for the back is stiff around your Achilles heel and rubs. They may just need to be broken in longer.

I LOVE LOVE these shoes. After having worn MBT's for a couple of years, I thought I would try these (1/3 the cost). I wear them all of the time. My back feels better at the end of a long day, my jeans feel a bit looser in the posterior, and they are just plain comfortable. I did buy up 1/2 size just because of wearing thicker socks for walking, winter, etc. Will be looking for another pair soon!

Outstanding! These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I use them for 9 hours of standing retail work, and my heel pain was nil! They also come with a second pair of brown laces which make them look nicer, and the shoes have tiny little sparkles next to the lace eyelets which you can't see in the photo. Don't hesitate to buy any of the models of Shape-Ups, it's all good! (They do run a half size small).

I am a pharmacist and on my feet at least 8 hours a day. These shoes are very comfortable and do exercise your legs and buttocks, you can feel it. Work out while you work, but I think they would great to wear running errands or walking the mall shopping even grocery shopping...mini work outs.

I was a little scared by the looks of this shoes but, when worn, it looks surprisingly good. Something worthy of an anime character, maybe. Looks good with skinny jeans. They do feel a tad bigger than marked so that if you are walking real fast they tend to slip out in the back but not so for normal walking. I had read that you should not drive with them on and have not tried that as I normally drive barefoot anyway but had also read to not wear on wet surfaces and I have used them on rainy and snowy days with no problems. Initially they are strange to wear but you will get used to them after a few times. I find that standing on them is more difficult than walking. Do they do everything that they claim to do? I'm not sure as I was in good shape before getting the shoes but I can tell that they are very gentle on my bad knee, and they do feel like you are walking on clouds. I am, sometimes, 8 hours on my feet, and these are perfect shoes for that.

This is my second pair of Shape Ups. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I walked a 5k race in them and felt great! I am hoping to add different styles to my collection so that I can wear them all the time. My abs are stronger and my posture is better. My legs are even getting leaner. I really recommend that anyone just trying to get fit buys at least one pair. They will make you feel and look great! I usually wear a 9 in shoes, but found I wear a 10 in the shape ups.

These shoes are fabulous. I got them because I was experiencing pain from Plantar Faciitis. I had read that shoes like this type would help. They have helped tremendously. I stand on concrete floors all day and carry 50lb boxes. I need shoes with a lot of support and these shoes have a lot of support and are comfortable all day long.

I love these shoes! They are extremely comfortable and fit true to size. Since receiving them (which was next day by the way...love Zappos)I've been wearing them inside while cleaning, doing laundry, etc. because it's way too cold out to walk. I can really feel the work out in my legs.

Let me start by saying THESE ARE THE BEST SHOES EVER! I got them on 12/29 (after the usual great service from Zappos) and have worn them every day since -- I'm not kidding. One night I even slept with them on! I bought them because I have foot problems -- the big one being plantar facitis (injured heel tendon), which was supposed to heal in about 1 year. After less than a month in these shoes -- no more heel pain! I didn\'t buy them for the shape up part, but I can actually see improvement. My calves have noticeable muscles, my hips are thinner and my "yams" are definitely firming up -- to the point where others are noticing! I recommend these to all my friends. Don't be afraid of the price. These shoes are worth it. I figure it this way: $100.00 divided by 30 days of wear/10 hours/day = $0.33/hour for pain free feet -- plus the added shape up! I\'ve also noticed improved posture. I'm usually a 6.5 / 7; I ordered a 7 and they're perfect. About the big sole - the shoes don't look weird once you get them on. Even my fashionista sister admitted they look "normal" on your feet. Don't think twice -- order these shoes. You'll be glad you did!

These are great! Soft and comfy for walking and cute enough to wear with a little black dress as casual resort wear for a dinner on Maui - which is exactly what they were purchased for! I'll be looking for more Skechers brand items to purchase in the future.

These are very, very comfortable and they do the job. I wore them all day in the beginning and my shins were sore, so I would recommend no more than 45 min for a week or two. I plan on getting the white pair as well. Love, Love, Love these shoes.

I have just bought my third pair of Skechers Shape Ups in less than 12 months. They are wonderful shoes and great to walk in. I have actually improved the shape of my legs!!! Only complaint is that the tread wears off so fast. I do 3 to 4 miles per day on cement and the tread is worn off in chunks within 3 months.

I thought the heel was a little wide but with thicker socks would be perfect. The comfort of these shoes is a 5+. It is like walking on air- seriously. I have been recommending them to everyone I know.

I wear orthotics in all my shoes, but I don't need them with the Skechers Shape Ups. I am 60-years old and no athlete. I'd been told these shoes were going to be heavy, tiring and difficult to balance on. Not so. They are comfortable enough to wear all day, and when I take them off at night I have no foot pain - which I often have even with my orthotics. The Shape Ups needed no getting used to or breaking in. They were instantly comfortable and wearable. So comfortable in fact that I'm likely to walk more because I can do so without fear of pain.
