I get lots of compliments on the shoes. They are comfortable; however, I had to loosen the toe section as it was very snug. The heels are a bit loose but not enough to cause rubbing, etc. Overall, these are great walk about shoes.

Not too shabby, but not to chic, either - I got these because I live in NYC - there's a lot of walking involved! They are cute but pretty casual - not dressy at all. First few minutes, I had to haul out the band-aids for the heels -as the fit is pretty off. I ordered my regular size and they fit ok, but hurt my heels right away...with band-aids, they are fine.

It is rare that I can buy "fun" shoes because I have a long, narrow, thin foot. This is my second pair of backless Skechers, and I like them. They aren't for very dressy occasions, but they work in most other situations. I get compliments on both pairs. They have a decent arch, and they are ok for standing or walking. People who have easy to fit feet won't understand what a "find" these are. Those with my type of feet will. They don't cost an arm and a leg, so one can buy several pairs.

These shoes are sassy indeed! They look so cute that I feel that I am becoming Alice in Wonderland! They also are incredibly comfortable but also have a little heel to help with the height issue which in these kinds of Mary Janes is rare. So, if you are petite like me, they are perfect for casual walk abouts. No, you can't really take a long hike in them but you weren't planning to in these little shoes, anyway. Fits true to size.

Skechers has always been my favorite shoe for comfort however this particular shoe felt a half size smaller and not as comfortable. Very nice looking shoe on the foot.

My husband has wide feet and I got these in EE for him and he wore them without any problem. He stands on concrete all day at work and he said there wasn't even a break in period and that they were very comfortable.They look even better than the pic online. I will buy these same ones again!!!

Good fit shoe, comfortable and with good grip in the rain. Good cross between shoe and sneaker for work. Slightly tight in the width for my foot the first few days I wore it but it settled in after that.

I wanted these shoes so badly and jumped through many hoops to get them. They fit true to size, are extremely comfortable, and work like they are supposed to. My legs are so tired by the end of the day that I decided to only wear them every other day. Where I work, I walk basically the whole day, so I thought these would be perfect. What's better than getting a workout while you are at work? I highly recommend these shoes and think I will try to get some runner style ones next. The only negative thing I can say is that they look a bit different because of the sole, but that’s what makes them work!!!

This wedge Lioness sketcher shoe is absolutely positively gorgeous. I ordered a pair in matte black here on Zappos and received it in the mail, but had to return it. I loved the look of it... I loved holding it, touching it, looking at how my feet looked in them. However, they caused unbearable pain. I was willing to endure some pain, but it was UNBEARABLE! I walked in my apartment in them, but I had to take them off after five minutes of unbearable pain. I can’t imagine walking anywhere in them. Your foot slides all the weight onto the space between your big toe and the second toe next to it. I loved this pair so much that I tried thinking of ways to make it work with cushions of some kind, but I couldn’t figure a way. I guess it’s just the structure and my sensitive soles, but I see that I’m not alone in the reviews.

Not what I expected - The comfort of these seemed fine. I am basing my opinion on the padded arches inside that cushion the foot and make it feel supported and secure when the feet are in the shoes, however: the foot slides inward when walking because the criss-cross velcro strap is not secure enough to hold the foot in properly. Also, even though they are velcro, it seems impossible to make them tighter and the foot still wobbles from side to side. Visually they are hideous; not quite Mary Jane style not quite sneakers, all 'Bride of Frankenstein'. I returned these and ordered the regular 'sneaker' looking Shape Ups in the hopes that since they lace up they will provide the support these shoes lack.

I love these shoes! I have had these shoes for over and year or two and love them and I never had to break them in. I don't wear my shoes in the house and these shoes are easy to slip on and off. They are very cute to wear with blue jeans. They look ok with shorts. If I wear them with shorts I wear the foot socks not the ankle socks. There are sparkly tabs along the front of the shoe but you barely notice them. In fact, I think that sparkle is nice and adds a very small touch of femininity to the shoe. I would buy another pair if they had a different color besides the two that are available.

These are super cute. They are enormously flattering on my feet, and they're comfy so far-- I'm used to wearing the likes of Mephisto and Birkenstocks, however, so my standards of comfort are pretty high. I needed a dressier, less clunky sandal for work, however, and these are perfect. The straps were a little stiff at first, but I get a feeling they'll soften up with wear. They have a bit of sparkle to them, too, which is a feminine, cute touch. So far, they're a great, well-priced shoe.

I’ve had these boots almost two months now. These boots feel approx 1/2 size larger than marked. I measure a true 14.5D and normally have to buy a size 15D boot to have sufficient toe/forefoot room, but the size 14D boots are a perfect fit for me, probably due to the snip toe. They are very comfortable considering the price and I get many compliments on the style. The leather is very soft, but has a somewhat "dry" feeling to it, even after a coat of mink oil. I use these boots for motorcycling and have no problem getting the toe under the shift lever. The sole, while aggressive, is not so thick as to interfere with foot position on the pegs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an inexpensive boot alternative that is still stylish and very confortable. Keep in mind that these boots are not in the price range of Chippewa or Frye and don’t have that "high quality" feel, but are very well-made. I LOVE Zappos! Customer service is absolutely GREAT and online ordering, shipping, etc is the best on the web! I only wish they would carry more Chippewa pull-on styles in size 14 or 15. My first choice of boot was a Chippewa Snip-Toe Bison leather, but would have had to buy from another web-site. I just won’t trust anyone, but Zappos!

I got the Black ones. Theses shoes are excellent! Very comfortable. Lots of padding. I wear them at work and for hiking. This is my 2nd pair. I believe Sketchers has discontinued this model. Too bad. I think the sizes are a bit large. I bought 11.5s. I’ve never been larger than 10.5-11s. So try a larger size if you’re buying.

When Skechers came out with a MBT-look-alike, I thought I would give it try. They are so similar to MBT's that I could hardly tell a difference except in my pocketbook. They feel the same and actually look better. These shoes are a wonderful alternative to MBT's. My only problem is that if you over-pronate, these shoes will be a problem for you. I really wanted to make them work, but every time I did a trial walk in my house, my ankle would turn in. I read a review that if your ankle tends to pronate; you could do some real damage with either MBT's or these. Otherwise, they would've been keepers.

I screamed I was so happy when I first tied them on! I walked and walked for an hour. These babies feel like they were made truly and only for power walking. I am so pleased with the Skechers Shape Ups, you don’t even feel like you are walking on concrete at all and I walk outside where the road is hot after a 98 degree day. This is the most comfortable walking shoe known to all mankind and womankind of course. They look space age and extremely high tech too! They seem to propel you forward and they are shock absorbent. Woo hoo finally a stealth shoe!

I purchased these shoes over the weekend. They are comfortable. For sizing purposes, measure the size of your foot and go a 1/2 size smaller. When you are walking, make sure that the shoe is laced up tightly or else your heel slips. As far as the "shape up" part, I did feel the backs of my inner thighs getting a workout for the first 2 days, but on day 3, there was no difference from regular sneakers. However, this could be because I walk every day. I think for non-walkers, the shoes would really help--in reality, the purpose of the shoes is to get a person to walk which is great exercise overall anyway. Up to you to decide if the shoes will make you walk more and therefore exercise more or not.

I like Skechers in general for the roomy fit and these are no different. Very comfortable if you're on your feet all day. Stitch work and leather quality is fine also. These have the classic lug sole which grips good everywhere. I like these better than Timberlands I have owned, about the same cost/quality but much more comfy.

My new favorite pair of flip-flops - Besides how great they look, two things stood out to me: how comfortable they are and the traction. I'm not worried about slipping when walking on wet ground/floors, like I was with my last pair of Reef Magdas. The dragon design on the soles will partly wear off after a week or so (depending on your feet and arch), but didn't matter to me. I own several pairs of Reefs and these Skecher's have replaced them as the one I wear the most.

Love These Shape Ups! Felt a bit strange walking at first...but after a 1/2 an hour they felt amazingly comfortable. I would buy a 1/2 size bigger, they are a bit snug. Great for walking!
