I bought these shoes in tan and in the olive color and I absolutely love them! Do not believe anyone who says that they do not have good arch support! These have such great arch support that my feet feel great in these I can walk all day in them with no blisters (and my feet blister so easily). Plus they are so cute!! I find that they are true to size. I am an 8½ and that is what fits me in these shoes. They are a bit wider then Converse, have better arch support and make your feet look smaller then Converse. Plus I find converse is not true to size and they hurt my feet. So if you are on the fence on whether to buy these or Converse you should get these. They will last much longer and feel better on your feet plus they are cheaper!
Brands I'd also recommend: none, simple is one of a kind

I bought these to wear to Disneyland, I wanted a comfortable pair of shoes that were not ugly! They were so comfortable I walked in them for 3 days all over Disneyland! They were true to size also.

This shoe is a very comfy alternative to Converse. I can wear them all day. They look fun with jeans or khakis. The neutral color goes with everything. I used Scotchguard as a water/stain repellent. I have also washed them with a few towels on the gentle cycle. I recommend putting rolled up washclothes in the toes and letting them air dry. They still look new after a year!

I bought a pair of these for my sister. In her words they are very comfortable and look nice. She is very happy with them so I guess I have to give them five in every category. I have to say, I like the design myself, and the black goes well with many different outfits. She has worn them for several weeks now and still loves them, so it is fair to say that the initial trial period is over.

As if Michigan winters weren't enough to make a girl ready for spring - now I've got these babies causing me to count down the days until mild temperatures and sunny days! They arrived today, and it was love at first sight. The style is classic, made from great materials and seem like they will hold up well while I frolic around town. True to size, extremely comfortable and so very adorable! They're wonderful!

These are the best "sneakers" that I have ever had and I will be 60 this year so I have had lots & lots of tennis shoes over the years. Unfortunately, I just read that the company is going out of business so I will have to stock up. I wear a 10 and a lot of the imported shoes are sized too small. So I think they fit perfectly, but younger buyers might think they are a little large. They have great arch support whereas most tennis shoes have none. The insole is also removable which is nice as I like to go sock-less in summer and want to be able to wash insole when needed.

I love these shoes! I wear them almost constantly, and buy a new pair every year to replace the beat-up ones. I highly recommend them for a basic, knock-around shoe.

I love these shoes! I'm the kind of girl that wears my flip flops everywhere... shoes are usually uncomfortable and leave blisters. Not these. The first time I put them on, I went for a 3 mile walk in them. Not a blister or sore spot in site! They're great and they're cute too! They even wash up well! That 3 mile walk got 'em a bit grubby, so I tossed them in the wash... all better! I definitely recommend them!

Adorable sneaker and very comfortable! The arch support is surprisingly good. Not a lot of grip in the soles, so be careful on wet sidewalks.

Love my new Simple Satires. The Simple shoe company is on hiatus, so I'm glad I was able to purchase these on Zappos. I do not buy shoes from anywhere else. Zappos is the best.

I have a hard time finding shoes that are both wide and that provide enough support for my heels and arch. I can walk in these shoes all day and not have any foot or leg pain. I wore my other pair of simple shoes on a trip to DC. I've never found such comfort in a pair of shoes! It's such a plus to know that they are eco-friendly too! I'm so disappointed that this brand is going out of business.

These shoes rock. So cute and comfortable. I have a bad ankle from a bad break and have to be picky about the shoes I wear. Not only are these "green" but they make me feel like I never broke my ankle. Tried to find these shoes around town and wasted my time - Zappos had them and had them to me in no time. It was lovely!

I love these shoes! The quality of construction is really great. I've bought 3 pairs over the years. They seem neutral in an outfit, but the accent colors keep them from being boring. I have wide, short feet, and these fit great. I feel like I could walk for hours in them.

This is my second pair of simples. They are immediately comfortable, stylish in a somewhat retro way, and provide plenty of support. I'm not a huge fan of tennis shoes, but these I love!

We just received these shoes today. I bought the Natural color Hemp style for my 12 year old daughter who has a size 12 foot. It is very difficult to find a fashionable size 12 shoe that a 12 year old would be willing to wear to school. She fell in love with them and wishes she had gotten a pair a long time ago instead of her Converse that she has been wearing. So we are ordering another pair immediately in black.
