SIDI

It took me a while (including numerous trips to the bike shop, who only had full sizes, and several orders from Zappos) before I found my right size. This is critically important in a cycling shoe. As per Sidi's recommendations, when you think you found a size, try the size above it and below it (in half increments). As for the fit, it should be quite snug (with little to no foot movement), but not tight or binding. As for the cycling shoe itself, it's quite light (as expected of a mid-high end cycling shoe). I purchased the Mega version (I have very wide feet), and there is an acceptable amount of interior volume in the toe area. Unfortunately, the Mega version doesn't accommodate a high instep (which I also have), so I can't ratchet down the top buckle as tightly as I'd like without the tongue digging into my instep area. Lastly, the stock insole is pretty bad, so I quickly replaced it with a custom molded Superfeet insole. Overall, a decent shoe, and probably the best I can find without getting a shoe custom made for my foot.

Great triathlon cycling shoe. This is my second pair and I love them. They are a little narrower than some other cycling shoes but that fits me perfectly.

I wore these while racing up the unforgiving accent of Alpe d'Huez this Summer. I went flying by some guy named "Cadel" on the final climb, he muttered: "nice shoes". (Cadel was right. These are very attractive shoes that fit like a glove.) Next up were a couple of brothers, Andy and Frank. I caught Frank's wheel and as I passed him he gasped: "I hope you bought your Sidi Genius 5 Pro Carbons from Zappos; they have the quickest shipping around." (Frank was right, I ordered them on a Thursday and I wore them on Friday afternoon.) Andy then said to his brother, Frank, as he cracked from the pace: "Zappos also has a great return policy...but it looks like he won't need it." (Andy was correct too. I'm keeping these babies. The fit is a little large but they are very comfortable). Finally I caught and passed a British kid who called himself "Bradley" as we approached the summit. Bradley was a strong cyclist but I was able to reach down and adjust the caliper buckle as I rode. This is a nice feature along with the high security velcro straps that holds tight. It makes for a very secure fit that doesn't pinch or restrict your foot. (Bradley didn't say anything...I think he was jealous of my shoes.) Finally, be careful when walking in these. Even with the pad on the heel they can be slippery when walking on a slick floor...or up the steps of a podium.

I bought this shoe because I have a wide foot and it comes in a mega size. I am very pleased with this shoe especially since wide cycling shoes are so hard to find.

Great shoe! I did size up one size. The shoes are lightweight and fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend them to other riders!

Excellent shoes. I have suffered "hot foot" for years until I figured out I need Wide size shoes. Since then I have bought two pairs of Sidi's in 12 W and my feet are never sore, even after all day rides. One note, I also replace the insoles with eSoles so I can tune the arch support to my quirky feet. Altogether, his system works great for me and is worth every penny.

These are a Christmas present for my husband, so he not received them yet. I have worn Sidi's for the last 5 years and love them. I think he will love these as well!

These are great shoes! The soles are nice and stiff so hot spots don't develop where your cleats attach to the shoes. They are very comfortable and seem to transfer power very well to the pedals. I highly recommend them.

This shoe is great! It is very stiff so it gives you excellent control over pedal movement. I love the grippers (that's what I call them); you can tighten them while riding or loosen them while riding. I wear a 7 1/2 so that's what I ordered and it fits perfect. I would say they are true to size. Feel good about this purchase, these shoes will last for years. Not only that, they look cool.

Dominators are very comfortable and well constructed -- as you expect an Italian shoe to be. I have US 12 E feet, and the "regular" 46.5 fits exactly right. I found the "mega" shoe too wide/sloppy, but if I were wearing heavy socks for winter rides I might go for those. This version is less ventilated than some previous Dominator models have been, but is still comfy with good wicking socks. I use Speedplay Frog pedals, so I have to remove a bit of sole from the inner edges of the cleat pocket with a Dremel grinding stone -- takes seconds, fits great.

This is my second pair of Sidi Dominator's and I guarantee when I wear through these I will buy them again! I have tried a few different brands in the past but none that stand up as well as the Sidi's! Highly recommended and where better to purchase than from the amazing staff at Zappos!

I love these shoes! They are comfortable (for a pair of cycling shoes) and the buckle adjustment is awesome. The straps hold well. I have bargain shopped for shoes before but after numbness from my other pair I decide it was time. So many of my friends who are serious cyclists wear these. If you want a great pair of road shoes that will last a long time, then get these and stop worrying about the price. You get what you paid for. Note, these work only with "three-hole" style cycling cleats. SPD, Look, Keo, Time. I have Shimano SPDs and they work great!

I needed a new pair of bike shoes ASAP as my old ones came apart between the sole and body of the shoe. Was scheduled to ride in the MS 150 in a few days so urgency was the operative word. Called Zappos and the sales rep advised if she made me a VIP member (n/c) she could have the shoes here the next day. As it turned out, the shoes were on my doorstep within 24 hours at no additional cost for shipping. Great service and very satisfied with the product and how I was handled.

After several expensive Mavic shoes I finally found one that fits my foot! If you have wide feet, like mine, it will be difficult to find a good shoe that does not squeeze your foot into submission in about an hour or so. The extra width feels great and the overall shoe is good quality. Can't go wrong with Zappos' return policy. Try and if you don't like them, send em back! Thanks Zappos!

The best bike shoe for road biking! My last pair lasted 12 years at 6,000 miles per year. This newer model has improved latch and velcro closures. The heel knob (replaceable) is a little higher than I would like - very small/no problem.

Third pair of Sidi cycling shoes, and again not disappointed! I needed a quick in and out pair of shoes for a Biathlon and my transition was the fastest to date. Very happy!

I normally ride in the Sidi road shoes, size 40.5. I ordered these in the same size thinking I'd get pretty much the same shoe but easier to get on and off, which is the whole point of a tri shoe. The length is the same as the road shoe but these feel wider. Also, where the top strap near the ankle is - it comes too close to the leg so with each pedal stroke they rub. Really annoying. The insole that comes with the shoes is terrible but I use the yellow superfeet insole anyway. These are alright, but they aren't the same as the road shoe with easier transitions.

These shoes are good, solid Sidi quality and comfort. Great arch support, excellent adjustability, and a nice amount (but not too much) of padding. The white color is very pro looking!

Ordered SIDI Dominator 5 shoes, due to unavailability of my size (10) at local stores. Shoes arrived as promised. Second pair of SIDI's for me, previous pair where road shoes. Dominators have an excellent reputation and I understand why. Completely satisfied with my purchase. Thank you Zappos!
