I bought this shoe along with the Peregrine. I've had the previous version of this style and to my delight there was not a huge difference. The only thing that I felt was that it seemed just a tad bit softer in the front cushion but fit was great and ride was great. This shoe has always worked well for me in the arch too because with it's medium arch support. Geat shoe Saucony!

I love, love, love the ProGrid Guide 3's so I had very high hopes for the Guide 4. It felt great when I tried it on and walked around the house. But running I found out very quickly that they are very narrow. I don't have a wide foot and don't normally have issues with widths of shoes. Spoke to someone else that had the same problem with the Guide 4. They are very comfortable, just need to get them in wide width!

I was looking for a black shoe to wear to work, I work all day on my feet and these shoes are awesome! They have good arch support and cushioning at the heel. Would highly recommend these. I wear and 7 and 1/2 and the size fit perfect.

I highly recommend going to a running store to be fitted/tested to figure out what brand & style of shoe works best for you. Ordering from Zappos was very easy. The first pair of shoes I ordered were too narrow. I sent those back with free shipping from Zappos & received my new pair within a few days.

I bought and returned 4 pairs of running shoes before I found these but Zappos was cool in upgrading my shipping every time I bought a new pair due to my hassle. And it wasn't their fault I didn't know what I was looking for, really. These shoes are great in the support and comfort area and the style is decent for Saucony. I have high arches and mild-moderate over pronation so I ended up having to buy arch support insoles. With those in there they feel great when running, hiking, walking and during high impact aerobics classes. I think the problem is my feet and not the sneaker. I love Saucony for their comfort, support, cushioning and different features for people with awkward feet. They aren't the coolest looking shoes but I will stick with their brand!

I had my stride analyzed at a running store a couple years ago, and the Guide was highly recommended for me - I overpronate a little, and I have a wide foot. I've been buying them ever since. They feel good on the first run, great on the second. Not thrilled by the colors available, but the shoe itself is excellent. My foot never feels hot or sticky, and I feel comfortable taking these out on road or trail.

I really like the look of these shoes, but I need a lot of more room in the toes because I have a bunion. They felt tight to me across the toes so I had to return the shoes.

Great shoe. I wore the Pro Grid Guide 3 for about a year, I was nervous about the change, but Saucony comes through again. Still the only stability shoe that I can find that is not super heavy. This is a light, cushioned shoe with great support. I have very flat feet and am currently training for a marathon.

These sneakers are the best. Comfortable to walk in and they look good. I paid less for them through Zappos than I would at the sneaker store. I love them. And I love Zappos.
Brands I'd also recommend: saucony is my favorite brand in sneakers

I always buy Saucony ProGrid shoes for walking. My regular shoe size is a 6, but I go up to a 7.5 narrow to get extra length. The shoestring system keeps my heel in the right place and my toes never touch the sides or end of the shoe! BTW Zappos delivery set a new record. 15 hours from click to my door!

Fantastic shoes! Light, supportive, just the right amount of flexibility. Great price as well. I have bunions, but my feet are narrow - these are a perfect fit.

Like the new shoes, very comfortable. Only negative and the lining under the top has already torn through where my toe rubs on it. Worn them maybe 20 times for 1 hour.

These are great sneakers. They are sturdy, while not being heavy. They have netted tops, but I ran a half marathon in misty/sometimes moderate rain and my feet did not feel wet. I had orthodic inserts put in because I need them, so I cannot testify to insole/arch support so much. But these shoes are great. They did not need any breaking in and I am a first time Saucony buyer, now I will be a lifetime buyer.

I was very happy to find this shoe on Zappos. I had an earlier version of this model which I wore for 3 years to my jazzercise class (time to retire them enfin). I have other exercise shoes but they do not fit like these do and so they sit in the closet. What more can I say...a perfect 10 (or 5 as the case may be).
Brands I'd also recommend: Stick with this brand!

I am very disappointed in these shoes. I wore a hole in the top mesh within the first couple of days. I exchanged them when that first happened and the second pair did the same thing.

I exchanged a pair of Ride 3 shoes with a defect for these shoes and paid more. Rarely have I ever had a problem with finding shoes to fit my size 10D feet, until now. When I took them out of the box, they looked like they were smaller and when I put one of them I had to squeeze my foot into them, they were still tight after removing the insole. Could this shoe have been mis-sized during production? They are supposed to be 10, but feel like 9. Now I have to exchange them again for another style. I almost want my defective shoes back. Maybe three times is a charm?
