About Sanuk
Sanuk has been around since July, 1997 when Jeff Kelley started making sandals out of inner tubes and indoor-outdoor carpet. 1998 marked Sanuk's first full year of operations. While they've progressed into semi-proper footwear company (uh-oh), Jeff's spirit of innovation still serves as the backbone of their little brand. Today, Sanuk strives to make products that are as much about funk as they are about function. They've found that sandals are happiest when they tread the road less traveled – so Sanuk has design 'em accordingly.
Because "Sanük" is the Thai word for happiness and balance, their name is also their mantra. Sanuk's goal is to provide creatively inspired yet thoughtfully designed products for the global outdoor community... mostly because we're all a part of it.

I love Sanuk and this is my 6th pair! They are lightweight and can be worn with almost anything! My original pair is 3 yrs old and even after heavy use they have held up very nicely! I even wear them to a water park or the pool and they can get completely soaked- and dry back into a new shoe! I have worn them at the beach and just rinse them out and they dry so quickly! The quality is top notch! I have also added an arch support for days when I want the extra comfort but overall they are perfect! They fit to your foot like a good friend made just for you. The more you wear them the better they are!
The Sanuk Kyoto felt so good on my feet. With the very first steps, I knew I would love this shoe for a very long time. I would love to see different choices in the colors like a Sage tint, etc. Not a deal breaker. I ordered one shoe size up and that turned out to be the exact choice I needed. Width was snug like a bug. Just the way I want new shoes to feel. Comfortable enough out of the box to wear all day without any break in period. How often can you say that about shoes? The shoe is referred to as a sandal but I've never owned sandals that felt this good on my feet. The quality of the shoe is really good. I've not had them long but it s one of those things you can just look at and know and I can feel it too when walking. Looks great with Jeans or shorts Lots of compliments. Zappos, once again you keep proving why you are the best in the business for online retail shopping. Simply stated, you rock.
I really love these shoes, they are my first pair of Sanuk sandals, and I love them! They are very comfortable!
This is a great pair of sandals from a stellar company! This is just one of many Sanuk brand sandals in my collection. This style is very comfortable and is almost like walking on pillows because of how soft the cushioning is. The quality is great, and the stitching is excellent! They do run a little tight in the width, so I would suggest getting 1-2 sizes larger than you normally would! Regardless, still one of my top picks from this brand!

I gave away these shoes after the first wearing. They were wide enough for my feet (like the yoga mat style), but the thin strap rubbed and cut into my feet by the afternoon. If I was just to sit around, they would be super cute...but, sadly, didn't work out for walking.
I have had these previously and wanted additional colors so I ordered 2 more pairs. One pair was fine and the other was defective it had a piece of leather poking into my foot where the strap meets the mat part so I have to return it. Compared to my original Sanuks, I think the quality is lacking. I also ordered a pair for my daughter and the straps on hers were different sizes, one was much tighter than the other. I love Sanuks so I hope they can get their quality up again.
Perfect Sanuk flip flops, as usual. I wear my Sanuk flip flops till they are dead. These are too cute, love the animal print. They fit true to size. I'm a 7-7.5 and order the 7. They always fit and feel wonderful!
I absolutely love these! I They're super comfortable and I feel like I'm walking on a cloud when I wear them. They don't have the best support so I wouldn't wear them on long walks, but they're perfect for running errands or going to the pool.
Love the shoe and was so excited they come in a wedge. But size runs at least a size small. I have a flat pair I love and they fit and feel great. These are to tight and to short. Foot hangs over front sides and back and strap is extremely tight. Returning for a larger size. Praying that works.
This flip-flop is cute and cushy, but irritates a little between the toes. I usually don't have this problem. I'm wearing them and expecting to break them in.
I wear and 8 in a closed shoe but a 7 in this. what makes this so comfortable is the upper part of the oval which holds the shoe in place, no flip flop sound. The shoes walks with the foot. This is my 3rd pair and won't be my last.
I've purchased many Sanuks and always hated the back. Recently, I've cut the back off and it worked well and I wore the Sanuks without a back. Then I saw these and said, "that's what I've been looking for!" Unfortunately, these sandals would not stay on my feet. Very poorly designed. My foot slid out of them each time I took a step.
I usually wear a 9.5 and I ordered a 10. It is a little small, however I feel like an 11 would be too darn big! All in all, a very comfortable shoe. Absolutely no arch support. I am happy with them regardless!
These flip flops are very comfortable and sturdy. The only thing I don't love is that they make that flip-flop sound as I walk.
I bought these for my husband and he said they are very comfortable, but feel that they might be a little tight in the width. I did forget he has wide feet but we are both hoping they stretch. So nothing wrong with the shoe, just my husbands feet.
These are my favorite flip flops of all time. It's like walking on air. I bought them for a vacation that included a lot and they were perfect for the task.
I love the comfort of these flip flops. However...I wore them on a rainy day and they got a little damp and the black "leather?" turned gray and is now ugly. That was my first time to wear them, so that was disappointing. Wish I could return them.
AWESOME FLIP FLOPS! I agree with a previous review - always thought most flip flops created equal... not so, these are the best!
