Great shoes. My toes don\'t squish too badly which is my biggest pet peeve with shoes. The calve area is a little tight... so girls with meaty calves beware.\r\n\r\nOtherwise, nice looking and reasonably comfortable.
Other Brands Recommended by Reviewer: Michael Kors rubber boots. Lots of room for thicker socks and keeps the feet dry while looking good.

Attractive boots. Fairly comfortable. Biggest problem: heels and soles have no treads or traction. Slippery when wet. I am going to just buy La Canadienne from now on.

Deena 2 - Great Boot!
I have worn Santana boots for over ten years. I bought two pairs of Deena 2 this year, in both the black patent leather and the Burgundy. They both are wonderful looking boots, and I am constantly being asked where I purchased them. The foot size is 1/2 size smaller than my normal shoe size, but they run small in leg size. I can get the zipper to work, but they are tight and will need to stretch. I can't recommend them high enough!

Love the look and they fit immediately, as if already broken in. Great arch support. Lightweight but warm. I have average sized calves and they fit snug but just fine.

Love the look and fit of these boots. And their light weight makes them easy to wear for long periods. The only drawback is the way city slush spots on the patent. But they are easy to clean with a damp cloth.

Odd fit -
These are very nice looking boots...but they fit in a very odd way. They were loose and bunchy at the ankles and tight at the calves (and my calves measure less than the stated circumference), so they looked ridiculous. Although, they were lined with warm material and seem well made. They were also delivered fast, but I will be returning them they because they just looked wrong. Too bad, I was hoping they would be nice.

WOW, what a nice boot for the price. I was skeptical about this boot and wanted the dark brown at first, but opted for the Cherry Red. Feels true to size, warm, and cozy. As with other boots I've purchased from Zappos, I have large calves from working out and these don't fit mine. However, and as with others I pull the boot down, zip, and wear them baggy. LOVE, LOVE, this look. OMG. THANKS ZAPPOS, AGAIN!

DISAPPOINTED!
These are NOT for wide-calves or athletic calves. Nice looking boot. Seemed to be comfortable and sized correctly, but alas, they did not fit my calves, and I am not a large person. Loved the color. (black cherry) Too bad!

Love this warm boot...
I just got these boots in the dark cherry red color and I love them. They are very comfortable and warm. They look adorable with jeans and really nice with a skirt and tights. I usually wear a size 8; this boot was very true to size. My narrow feet with medium sized calves fit perfectly into this boot... love Zappos...
Fantastic Boot -
This is simply my new favorite footwear. It's sharp looking and extremely comfortable! The patent brown can look very brown with some clothes and takes on an aubergine with others.

Fabulous and stylish boot!
The black patent leather boot looks and feels so expensive, yet is a very affordable price. Perfect boot for all weather-dresses up any outfit. I LOVE it. Very comfortable too.

Awesome Boots!
Love these boots - very comfortable. I put them on at 8am and didn’t take them off until 10pm, after traveling from the deep South to Philly (through 3 airports, 2 planes, and a subway)! I'm barely a 9 and had a bit of wiggle room w/ socks on. It was great to have a boot that didn’t chafe my legs - actually fit them! Highly recommend.

Will keep them, but not as nice as the Deena I of last year -
Love, love, LOVED these last year, wished I had bought 2 prs as the patent got scuffed (forgot to put leather protectant spray on). Fab - really snug, so ski pant type pants worked great, lots of compliments. Was happy to see them appear again, ordered the black patent: patent not as shiny, which is OK, but unlike first pair, zipper stitching shows the raw edge of the material. Old pair had nice-looking stitching - the new ones look kind of cheap. Will still keep them, but be advised.

Good Winter Item for Cold Locations -
Pros: keeps feet very warm in cold, comfortable, supportive. Great utility, entirely waterproof. Can be worn in professional setting. Great value for the $. Cons: the black shows scuffs, need to be wiped off regularly. Synthetic outer material doesn't look as good as leather. My feet are slightly narrow, yet the boots fit snugly width wise, so keep that in mind when selecting width. Overall a great product at a great price.

I am very picky about comfort and warmth of my shoes/boots. These boots are very comfortable and I was surprised how warm they are. I live in Michigan and wear them on cold days with skirts. With these boots on my legs they are the only warm part of my body! I have skinny calves and they fit perfect...I wouldn't recommend them for anyone with larger calves. I thought they might be a little too casual for work (business casual) but have received numerous compliments.

Not Wide Calf Boots -
I found these in the 'wide calf' section and while the stated calf size was a little small I thought getting them in my size (9) would mean the calf would be bigger. Not the case at all and I had to return them. Definitely fits an average calf. Such a shame as I LOVED the cherry red colour and the way they looked.

Awesome boots -
I bought these a few weeks ago and they are great! They are very warm and insulated. I was actually hot in them the first day. These boots can definitely be worn for everyday in addition to rain and snow. I was able to walk through a deep puddle in the subway with no problem. This is the best alternative to rain boots if you need to look professional in the office and they are still cute enough to go out. I usually wear an 8, but the 7.5 fits perfect for me. There is a small gap in the back if you have smaller calves but it does not look awkward. Great dressy casual comfortable but functional boot!

Very cute, especially for the price -
I bought these because they had enough cherry red color to be a little different. They look great and are extremely comfortable. They have a warm lining that makes them a little too warm for where I live (Deep South), but I am keeping them because they are so cute.
