San Diego Hat Company

I wear a size 8 1/8 to 8 1/4 this hat runs big, it is a over sized, so I had to put two felt liners in to fit my head. It looks great, and is very comfortable. I get lots of compliments on it. I would get this hat for a warm area.

This hat is perfect. I bought it four years ago and have worn it hundreds of times to work in my Florida garden. It gets wet or dirty every week and still looks new. Protects me so well from the sun that when I travel out of state people are surprised to hear I am from Florida!

Love this San Diego Hat! The brim is the perfect size. Not too big and not too small. You can also roll it up and it travels like a dream.

I purchased this hat because I have to keep the sun off of my nose. I had basal cell carcinoma, and had a skin graft to my nose, so I was very happy to find this hat, with the adjustment, as most hats are too big. The sunblock in the hat is an extra plus.

I bought this hat to take to the beach this summer. It's not as wide-brimmed as some hats I've seen. I always feel sort of ridiculous wearing really big hats so this is a nice medium. It seems very flexible (but retains its shape)and will hopefully be breathable in the hot sun. I haven't worn it on the beach yet but I look forward to doing so.

I needed a summer hat for protection from the sun, but I don't look good in most straw hat styles. Berets generally suit me, however, they are mostly made of wool and are for fall and winter. My search for a summer beret was extensive. Finally I discovered San Diego Hat Company, and there it was....my dream hat, the straw beret with a bow. It is so becoming! I absolutely love this hat. I needed some sun protection and love the neutral color and the awesome floral print on the reverse.

Love it. It makes a statement and it protects from the sun extremely well. My head is not small though - some one size hats won't fit me but this hat fits perfectly.

I ordered this hat in the brown-multi and was so happy with it that I ordered another one in black. I LOVE this hat! It's great for blocking out the sun and this is something you will never find a hat like this in a department store.

Such a GREAT HAT! Wore it to a local steeplechase event. Fashionable AND functional, as the brim can be somewhat manipulated.

This is a BIG sunhat. It is perfect for the dress I'm wearing to a graduation in the South so it can serve double duty to keep rain off if it sprinkles. It is a little heavy, so your hair might get flattened, thus the 4 stars. It is well made and looks like quality.

Terrible...super large, beyond that look people go for. It is so big it doesn't even stay on your head. The picture shows it being three points, it's deceiving and just large and round. It does not bend properly so that you can see. Anyone who wears this looks beyond ridiculously stupid...it's not the stylish big hat I was looking for, it belongs in a clown prop bag. Had a derby party to go to, I went hat-less because this thing came in the mail!

I'm not a "hat person" and never wear them but I knew I'd need one for an upcoming vacation so I picked this up a few weeks ago. I've worn it to the beach and while doing yard work and I love it. It can be smushed down to the size of a lemon and pops back into shape, no problem. Being able to customize the style of the hat, bending it this way and that, is a nice bonus.

I needed a hat for a Caribbean cruise but hats are usually not my friends! I have a small face and not so long neck. Hats can easily make me look ridiculous. This hat does not. It fits well, and does not overwhelm me. It's cute, fun and does a good job of protecting my face from the sun. My much taller daughter tried this hat on and it looked really good on her too!

This hat held up great being squished in my suitcase, hanging on the beach and an all day kayak trip plus some rain showers during a 10 day trip to Hawaii. Then I smushed it back into my bag and it was still holding great shape back at home. The color is great; it is a nice light weight and it held up wonderfully.

Neat hat! Just the right amount of sun protection , rolls up for packing and fit is adjustable. Cute on, too.

I do not look good in hats and I have a small head. Two hat challenges. (I just measured and my crown is 21.25") This hat looks pretty good on me and it's not huge like most hats are for me. In fact it is pretty snug fitting, so if you have a large head, this will not fit you. And for me, the brim is just the right width. I want to block the sun, but still be able to see without having a floppy brim obscuring my vision. This does that perfectly!

I love this hat, but hear me out. It is big and bold, you will be noticed. I definitely wouldn't wear it around casually on a regular basis, but it's perfect for derby day or a beach vacation.

I'm so disappointed to be returning this hat...the yellow color was just slightly darker than pictured (a little brighter than a mustard yellow)and the fit was uncomfortable, a tad snug. All in all, it just wasn't flattering. Not what I was hoping for.
