I love Salomon shoes, and these are no exception. As someone with high arches and in desperate need of really good arch support. Salomons have this. I know my size, and these shoes fit really well! What I like about these is that they’re also GoreTex - so they remain pretty waterproof regardless of what you do! I was hoping for something less flashy, as I’ll be backpacking around South America with these, and they don’t exactly fit in with dressy clothes... oh well!

I have had these XT Wings for about a month. It is about 20 degrees out and these guys perform awesome. They keep the slush out and keep my feet warm and dry. Pricey, but worth it if you are in wet or extreme trail running. Hope they hold up.

This is a great shoe. I recommend to get a half size lower than your regular size. I got it these in size 12.5 and the fit is great. They are great on trail runs and bad weather street runs. They are also great as a travel shoe. My feet feel great after an all day wear. Remember that GoreTex will make your feet warmer and possibly sweat more then a non-GoreTex shoe.

These Salomons are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned! The toe box is so wide and comfortable. They took a week to break in and now I don't want to take them off. They are extremely well built. They are so light yet they feel like they are built like a tank. They are a bit warm and so far the Gore-Tex has been awesome in the snow. I'm already planning on getting the other version of the wings for the summer time. I don't know what people were saying about this shoe being narrow. Like I said, the toebox is the widest and roomiest I've ever seen. Awesome shoes. And Zappos had them to me the next day. I like Zappos so much I will never buy from a shoe store again. And it is great to see them carrying all kinds of clothes. Thank you Zappos and Salomon. I'm a fan for life!

This is a great shoe. My foot is wide so I love the shape of the shoe. I have had it for a few weeks already and I love it. I love Salomon shoes.

Probably the most comfortable shoe I\'ve ever owned. They provide excellent arch support and are made for narrow feet like mine. Quick lacing and being waterproof help make this my favorite shoe.

I have looked at this shoe few times in the last three years, but never bought it until now. Now that I have and used it on a couple of rain/mud runs on the trail runs around Dallas, I have to say that the shoe lived and exceeded all my expectations. The weight to function ratio is great; its a Gore-Tex trail shoe. The traction is very good; it provides great traction on muddy terrain, but at the same time it does not allow mud to get "stuck" inside the threads like some other shoes do that have deeper more aggressive soles. The shoe offers great fit as well, it can snug or loose, just like you like it. The lacing system is also great and very easy to use. I would strongly recommend the shoe. One thing to remember: the shoe is Gore-Tex and is waterproof, but you have to remember that when you run, regardless of how wet the trail is, you will have extra moisture inside the shoe; that is just how Gore-Tex works. It does allow the moisture to escape but when you run, you might produce more moisture than Gore-Tex is able to process in the given amount of time. Bottom line: your socks might be a bit wet but not soaking wet like they would if you are to run in a regular shoe. Enjoy it.

Love them! Had them since March, and even broken in, and using them to jog with all summer, they are still excellent.\r\nVery true to size, and even with my wide feet, they don\'t feel crowded like many other running shoes I have owned previously.\r\nVery durable, I\'ve owned their boots before (another quality product) and will certainly purchase another pair of shoes.

This is a great and warrior shoe. I am ultradistance marathoner and this is a tank of a shoe. It is a good shoe if your feet are narrow (B width) and have a low arch. It is a bit heavy, but you will not feel any roots and will not get any debris due to the way it is structured (so no need for gaiters). Lacing system is superb and hope that other companies will emulate as it makes it very easy to untie and tie up, especially if you need to change shoes in mid race. The shoe does keep a lot of moisture and can make it a bit heavy, which I found strange despite not being water proof shoe (there is also a waterproof version, so I can only imagine it even holding more moisture than this one). I ended up returning the shoe, because unfortunately it was too narrow and it was causing a blister on my arch. Salomon does not make wide shoes, but I am hoping that one day Salomon will consider the wide foot runners like me to become its customer.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt narrower than markedToo narrow - I’ve tried to purchase a GORE-TEX edition of Salomon trail running shoes for two years in a row. Both times I’ve encountered the same problem - the GORE-TEX version of the shoe is narrower than other shoes in the same product line. These are some of the most beautifully designed shoes I’ve held in my hands, but I can't get the GORE-TEX model onto my feet :-(.
