What happened, Ryka? I have purchased your shoes in my local athletic shoe store starting about 7 years ago and have always been a fan. This year I went into my store and they only carried one of your styles, which was a walking shoe. So, I purchased some other brand and thought to myself that I would shop for Rykas online when I got home. I did, and I bought. But when I received them and tested them out on my treadmill, I was HUGELY disappointed! My socks slipped down into the shoe while I was running, they were noticeable while running, and when I was finished my feet were tingly. That's not good. Don't know what happened, but Ryka's are not the quality that they once were. And don't forget your quality inserts. NO running shoe comes with any kind of arch support.

Running, you will get about 100 to 200 miles. Light weight. Not for someone who needs support. Breaks down fast if you put a lot of mileage on them. Good for short runs or sprints. if you are used to a really cushioned sneaker you might not like these. They have cushion, but not too much. They feel like slippers. They are NOT your higher end model sneaker. They WILL break down fast. If you are heavy they will break down fast and not give the support or cushion you are looking for. I'm 5'2" 110 lbs. I didn't have problems with socks. They would be great for someone who walks. They might last longer.

I am retired and wear these almost all the time. This is the third pair of 'Revive' that I have purchased from Zappos. I love them! There is room for an insert with the liner on top of it. I have all 3 shown and get compliments on the looks on the gray one and this one. I am waiting for the next color.

Very light weight and comfortable for walking, but got holes over both big toes in two months of occasional use. I have a similar style of New Balance that I have done 12 hour nursing shifts in for a year and they have no toe wear! Cheesy mesh.

I loved these shoes. They feel light as a feather and very airy, just right for spring/summer. Hate that I have to return them because they are a little to small, so I will be ordering a half size larger. They run a little short.

Love the fit but disappointed in performance. My first pair was returned after two weeks due to the stitching coming apart on the toe area. The new pair was going great until the second week...when the sole became separated from the shoe (around my big toe). I am a Jazzercise Instructor and only wear these to teach, so they only had about 12 hours of use on them. I was told by my students that it has happened to them and that super glue works wonders. I'm on day 6 and the glue is holding. I really could have had a nasty spill from this defect. Zappos was great about replacing the first pair. I didn't even bother trying to return the second pair.

I should have listened to the reviews of this shoe and they do run small! I wear a 7.5 and I should have ordered an 8. I'm so sad that I have to return these shoes, they look great and I liked how my feet could get air and good ventilation.

I've only used my Ryka's twice on a treadmill, but, so far they are pretty good. If you need arch support, I highly recommend purchasing a full length insert, as these provide virtually no support. The style is cute, but they could use longer laces - an easy (but slightly annoying) fix. One thing that bothers me is that there is a warning for toxic chemicals on the box. Eww - don't know if all shoes use toxic chemicals in the production of their shoes or not. Kind of creepy, anyway. Nike Women's Running are still my all time favorites - always classic with a great fit.
Brands I'd also recommend: Women's Nike Running plus good quality inserts

Ordered a 1/2 size larger than I usually wear and still a little short. Not enough to be uncomfortable and I'm keeping the shoe. If you order, you may want to go up a size.

Love these shoes. The additional flexibility in the front helps my feet. I like the wide toe box even with my narrow heel the heel doesn't slip. As with any Ryka I always order a half size larger.

I bought these shoes a couple of months ago and the minute I put them on they fit and feel amazing! Breathable, flexible, comfortable, and the heel felt good when I was running. Love this shoe! But it’s not my go-to over some of my other name brand running shoes!
