I had high hopes for these shoes since I have worn other Ryka aerobic shoes before. I do high impact step classes several times a week and I need a lot of cushion and support otherwise I start having major leg and ankle pain. These shoes unfortunately have neither enough cushion or support for me even with gel inserts in them. I wore them for step classes for about a month and started having pain and soreness in my ankles and legs. There are definitely better shoes out there than theses. It\'s not a total loss. I wear them to the gym to lift weights or just around the house. I won't be purchasing these again.

These are great shoes. They fit, they're comfy, and look good. Plus they're really light which is nice.

These shoes are especially great for someone with wide feet. They are the first comfortable shoe I've worn for Jazzercise! If you have wide feet, these give you the room your feet need so I suggest a half size smaller than you normally wear. The mid height is great for the ankle support, the mesh really allows your feet to "breath" and the light weight and flexibility are all perfect for Jazzercise. Obviously I highly recommend these!

These Ryka's were exactly what I was looking for. I got standard shipping and they arrived 2 days later! I ordered 1 size too large so reordered. They too arrived quickly and the exchange was made without any problems what-so-ever. Amazingly wonderful experience as always.

These are my 2nd pair of Ryka's Studio D shoes, and they are fantastic. I use them during Jazzercise classes and they offer the support and flexibility you need for aerobics and dance movements. They fit my foot like a glove!

I bought these for Jazzersice and they do the job I needed them to do! I am normally a size 7.5 but I got an 8 because of the reviews I read. It was a good choice because these shoes do run small. I like these because they are way cuter than a lot of the other aerobic shoes. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

I bought these shoes for Jazzercise. When I first put them on they were very tight in the toe box area. They have stretched out a little. However, I am going to exchange them for a .5 size bigger. I normally wear an 8.5 but need a 9. These shoes are lightweight and move smoothly across the floor.

Product was exactly as described. The price was good. Service was outstanding. The size exchange I requested was accomplished in an amazingly short time, all with free shipping. The people I spoke to were delightful -- friendly and helpful. I would recommend Zappos to all.

I love Ryka Shoes. They run a little short, so order a 1/2 size bigger. They have a narrow heel, which prevents them from slipping in the back. This is my fourth or fifth pair of Ryka\'s and they are soooooooooooooo comfortable. I love my Ryka tennis shoes.

These were disappointing. Like other reviewers mentioned, they run a little short. But more annoying is the noise that's made by the straps. If I sit in a chair and move both my feet back/forth, up/down, I can make a little tune of squeaks as the elastic strap stretches across each foot. Walking is worse. I really dislike shoes that make noise! That said, I am a fan of Ryka and have had two pairs of their Versa Mary Janes that I wear a lot - the first pair I wore out, thus the need to buy another. I like all-black shoes and thought these would be perfect, but sadly, not.

I ordered these shoes for my 83 year old mother. She had an old pair of Rykas that we had bought on a close out and she loved them. We were unable to find more locally so I took a chance these shoes would be the same. She didn't have to break them in. She just put them on and said they feel wonderful. She was tripping and had frequent falls before the Rykas. Now even her chronic back ache is better. First time we had ordered from Zappos, the service was great!!! No shipping and tax was even better. We will definitely order again.

I ordered several Ryka to try at home. I was looking for a pair for the gym and another for running/hiking. I have small feet so reading the reviews saying Ryka run small, I was pleased that maybe I’d find shoes that are not too big. I ordered size 6, but I am a regular 5 1/2 (5 1/2 doesn’t seem available in this model). Some of the size 6 Rykas I ordered were too big. This one fits really well and is my favorite. Actually there’s plenty of room in the toebox, but my heel is snug and nice. I think this is true to size. The other one that fit well was a 5 1/2 studio D, the 6 was too big. I’ll keep these two. Shoe looks lovely and is well cushioned, but I’m not really a runner so don’t take my word on performance. Style is great and I’d say this shoe is true to size. If you like a looser fit, more room, or thick socks, then maybe order 1/2 size bigger.

Cute shoes. I like the low top better. But I ordered a 6, having read Ryka run small. I am a true 5 1/2, normal width and this shoe was too big. Even when laced up, my heel moved. I ordered the low cut version in a 5 1/2 and that one fits perfectly. If you have small feet, this might be too big. Might work with thick socks perhaps.

I ordered several Ryka to try at home. I have small feet so reading the reviews saying Ryka run small I was pleased that maybe I’d find shoes that are not too big. I ordered size 6 for all of them, except for this shoe, which I got in 5 1/2 because 6 was not in stock. I ordered a 6 for the Studio D Mid, which was too big. I am not a size 5 for sure and I have regular width size 5 1/2 feet and this shoe in 5 1/2 fit perfectly. I think I’m keeping this shoe. Looks great and great price. I haven’t tried it at gym yet. I just wanted to leave a comment that this one ran true to size. I did not find all the Ryka to run 1/2 size small like others wrote, but some were on the small side of size 6. Not this one.

This one really runs small - I ordered several Ryka models to try at home. I am a 5 1/2 - definitely not a 5. I ordered size 6 in all Ryka because of reviews here. I did not find all Rykas to run small at all. This one was the only one that ran significantly small. Even with the size 6, I could feel my toes nearly touching the front. The width was normal, but it's a short shoe. I think 6 1/2 would be too big for me and I found something I like more. Shoe is nicely cushioned and would probably have good stability if it fit.

Zappos is one of the easiest and most pleasant shopping experiences you can have on line. The service is wonderful and the product selection extensive. The quality of the products is superior. I have been a very satisfied customer for many years and always go to the Zappos site first for my shoe purchases. My latest purchase is a pair of Ryka Sportwalkers and I am thrilled with them. They are a cut above a regular walking shoe, with mesh to keep your feet cool. The walker sole is supportive, but soft. Another wonderful buy from Zappos!

Excellent shoe and even more excellent Zappos shopping experience! The cool grey shoe in my normal sneaker size 9 wasn't available so I ordered it in my street shoe size 8.5. Ordered late on Tuesday night and shoes arrived Friday in time for Zumba class - wow! It was very comfy right away and so stylish (got lots of compliments!). Never had a Ryka, this felt perfect for Zumba, supportive for high impact moves even with low profile sole, enough grip for lateral moves, allows smooth pivoting on the Latin dance moves - works much better, more "graceful" than my grippy cross trainers, without looking like those weird high heeled dance sneakers! It was a tad too small, but returning was SO easy, just logged the return online, printed the label, and dropped off in original package at the UPS store. I got notified that my size was available, then Zappos upgraded my free shipping - I can't be happier with my purchase and the service!

These are super cute shoes! I get a ton of compliments every time I wear them. They work as well with casual slacks as they do with jeans because the little touch of patent leather makes them a bit dressier than most slip-ons. They feel like they run just a little small. They’ll probably work in your usual size if you give them some time to wear in and stretch a bit, especially through the ball of the foot. But I wouldn’t try wearing them out of the box for very long the first few times.

Once I hit my fiftieth birthday, I gained a little weight, just enough to make my knees sore all the time. I needed an exercise shoe that would provide greater stability to my foot and knee. I did my research, and settled on this shoe. The reviews recommended ordering a size larger in the Ryka brand, and that’s what I ordered. Well, my feet never have been normal, always been kinda skinny in the hoof, so the extra size was too big. That great free shipping both ways, cannot be beat! Ordered half-size smaller, doggonit, still too big. Ordered the next smaller size, my normal size, and this time it was perfect. Free shipping all the way, and of course that terrific overnight ship for VIP. The shoe itself? Lightweight, well-lasted, and lots of padding for my lil tootsies. I am now a demon in the gym, lookout here comes Trouble!

I bought these shoes specifically for Jazzercise. I have plantar fasciitis and had heard that these shoes were great for people like me. Pros: My plantar fasciitis doesn't hurt with these shoes. Cons: The toe box feels much smaller than my ordinary shoes. Almost to the point where I lose feeling in my toes. Also, these shoes are UGLY in person! The look almost stylish in the picture but they are not. Good think I only wear them to Jazzercise where people aren't looking at my shoes!

These shoes felt comfortable right away. I wear them to the YMCA for strength class and a occasional aerobics class. They sometimes slide on the floor during lunges but if you plant them right they won't move. I love the look. The tongue is a little stiff at first but once you wear them a couple of times they lock into your foot.

Wonderful walking shoes for my mom with difficult feet and leg pain. They are also stylish and don't have the frumpy 'walking shoe' look so she likes to wear them. The shiny, silver material adds a little pizazz. She gets lots of compliments.
