I am a senior, 70+ years old. I have advised to get as much weight bearing exercise as possible. My primary source of weight bearing exercise comes from walking as often as I can. I consider an investment in shoes as my purchase of "exercise equipment" so over the years I have sought the best shoes and was willing to pay more than usual if need be to get good walking shoes. This is the first time I've bought this brand, Ryka, and they are the best fitting walking shoes I have found - and they are more affordable that some other brands I've purchased in the past. My shoe size is 5 W and it is not always easy for me to find a shoe that fits well in length, width and with the arch support perfectly placed and comfortable. This is the best I've ever found and I will be a return Ryka customer. Thankfully Zappos doesn't lose patience when it is necessary to keep sending back and forth until the right pair of shoes is found. 5 stars to these Ryka Dash 2 shoes and of course always 5 stars to Zappos!

I love these shoes! I bought them strictly for workouts, but that went out the window after my first HIIT workout. I took them out of the box and went straight to it. These are so comfortable, having wonderful cushion and arch support. I am not one to wear shoes all day. I usually kick off shoes as soon as I'm home. But these? I don't want to take them off. My feet don't feel tired at the end of the day. I can't believe it's taken me so long to try Ryka.

Wanted to love these, but the 8.5 was a bit to small and the 9 was too big. Otherwise, they are exactly what I have been looking for in a Zumba shoe.

Pro: comfortable memory footbed and exceptionally comfortable V-bands going over the top of your feet. (And I have a high instep.) Con: the toe divider is so short it cuts into the top of your foot and therefore pushes your whole foot back hanging out of the footbed leaving a 3/4" footbed gap beyond your big toe. Also, no arch support at all.

Great quality shoe. Sharp looking too! I ordered 8 1/2 which is my normal size and it ran a bit small. Had to return them.

I wanted these to be "the ones" of the three pair I ordered. I ordered my normal size 9. My right foot is almost half a size smaller than my left so I usually always try on the left shoe first. However I already had a different one on my left foot so I pulled out the right one. I was shocked to find my toes smashed into what felt like a seemingly comfortable footbed. I immediately checked the size on the box and shoe to make sure I hadn't been sent the wrong size. Unfortunately these will be going back but fortunately returns are easy with Zappos. I did like the color and style.

Not the sexiest sneaker I've ever owned, but they are really comfortable. Nothing feels squished, nothing hurts after wearing them 12+ hours, the soles even feel a little bouncy when you first put them on. Would definitely recommend them.

After reading about how great Ryka were for women with narrow heels and wide feet I thought for sure I would find a pair that worked for me. I ordered three styles and they were all very strange in their own ways. I have wide, flat feet and I need good motion control to keep my foot from collapsing inward. If you are like me, DO NOT order these shoes. They almost forced my gait to collapse inward. The sole is like a marshmallow, providing no support or stability in the arch at all. If you don't need stability or motion control, these might work for you.

After reading about how great Ryka were for women with narrow heels and wide feet I thought for sure I would find a pair that worked for me. I have wide, flat feet and it's very hard to find shoes that work. I ordered three styles and they were all very strange in their own ways. This one has a hard insole that felt ridged or bumpy almost, and it slipped off my heel. They might work if you put your own insole in them.

After reading about how great Ryka were for women with narrow heels and wide feet I thought for sure I would find a pair that worked for me. I ordered three styles and they were all very strange in their own ways. This one has an insole I've never seen in any other shoe. It's puffy, like a pillow. So rather than being angled up to meet the sides of the shoe (like a cradle or a cup) there's this gap between the insole and the side of the shoe. Imagine standing on a pillow that is just slightly too small for your foot. Unless the shoe is WAY too big, your toes are going to constantly feel the edge of the insole, as mine did, and it was really annoying. If not for that fatal flaw, they could have worked.

I bought two pairs of size 7 athletic shoes of two different brands. The Ryka size 7 was noticeably longer than the other pair. When I put them on and walked around in the house, I can feel the empty toe of the shoe bending with every step. I imagine if I went running in these that would get old quickly. I will have to try half a size down.

These walking shoes are the best I've had in a while. Great support and cushioning and all around comfort. I've just ordered 2 more pairs, as I find some good shoes just don't keep coming back. They come back as new versions with changes or are discontinued. Would like to see more color choices.

Not sure what the difference is between Dash and Dash 2 but I found the original Dash continues to be my favorite. Maybe a little more room in the toe box for my bunions?

My "go to" shoes! I own 3 pair: one for my workouts (including body pump) and 2 fro general wear. They provide great support and cushioning for my ankles and knees. I was so disappointed when Ryka stopped making "Ambition", but I've been able to substitute "Devotion".

This was a very comfortable water shoe (after having tried and returned several) and it worked well on the beach.

These shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I wear them as work shoes (concrete floors),and can wear them all day without my feet hurting. I have a wide width, and these fit like a dream. A big "YES" for me!

Wow! I really needed something with great support for Les Mills Bodycombat since it's a pretty high impact class. I love my Asics running shoes, but it didn't give me lateral movement. Ryka Devotion to the rescue. It's like you're bouncing on pillows. I'm also an avid tennis player who insists on real tennis shoes. But when I was on vacation and in a bind, these Rykas were a really great substitute. Already looking into getting the next pair lined up.

Love these shoes! They are light weight, comfortable and offer tons of support. I'm learning firsthand the importance of good shoes for bad knees.

In my opinion I would like some more cushioning. They aren't bad. But I know they will only last a couple of months. As for support and floor movement they are fine and the spin spot works well.

I loved the color of this shoe BUT the tongue was too long and stuck up after lacing. I opted for a different shoe.

I have wide feet and high arches. The wides are wide enough, but the shoe has a band of leather that crosses the foot just before the toes. It bears down on the top of my foot, and there's no room for give.
