Overall:

I ordered these because I need a brown suede boot with a calf circumference larger than 16". I received them but the calf measures exactly 16". So large calved girls beware, they are NOT 16.75"!!

Overall:

I got these shoes to wear to a wedding. They were dyed an olive-green color and I got lots of compliments on them all night. They looked classy and beautiful, and really were fantastic. The only downside is that they rubbed enormous blisters on my big toes. I had to take them off once we got to the reception. Highly recommended if you're only wearing them for a short time; they're not an all-day shoe!

Overall:

These handy riding boots are very comfortable and common. The seam edge of the calf to the leather seems like it was cut short, so keep an eye on it and your warranty; they might split too soon.

This was the first time I ordered from Zappos. The shoes arrived on time and in good condition. I had to order a second pair since the original ones were too snug. The return was simple, and they paid for it! What more can you ask! I will definitely order again. Soon!\r\nOh, and the shoes were perfect, matched my dress, and so comfortable I danced all night!

I went for a retro look for my wedding and these shoes did the trick. The shoes are very pretty and do not look cheap in my opinion. Great formal shoes. Only problem was that after an hour, my toes began to hurt big time. So back-up shoes are a must. After seeing the wedding pics, it was worth the pain.

Great little shoe! The bottom of the heel did wear out quickly so I did have to have that replaced by a shoe maker but it was inexpensive. They look great and are comfortable. Nice alternative to a flat shoe.

Too tight for me - Really cute shoe, and very popular it seems. I exchanged mine for a half size larger and they still felt too tight. And that was just sitting down, not standing or walking around. Too bad. I thought they were cute but had to look for a different style.

What a relief! Finally, an attractive boot with wide enough calves. It is so depressing to search for wide-calf boots, and find 15- and 16-inch circumferences almost exclusively, when 18 inches are truly needed. So happy to have found this boot!

The images of this boot on the Zappos site were very attractive and indeed this boot is really as smart and edgy as the images depicted. I have been complimented over and over again. I wear them with knee length skirts and skinny pants, tucked inside. I have a thin calf and have been disappointed by big, loose boot shafts in the past, but this is fine, it is just a little roomy. When I first tried them on I thought there was a difference in the feel of the arch areas between each boot. I wore them around the house for a few hours and that sensation went away. They are very comfortable. I really love this boot. My 19 year old daughter wanted to take them off my feet. Hey, I think I'll get her a pair of her own!

I have ordered very few things ever on the internet, but my daughter fell in love with these shoes, to wear with her white wedding dress and so I ordered them. Not only did they arrive with amazing speed, but they were absolutely perfect and she loves them! I took my chances in ordering these shoes after reading the reviews of being uncomfortable and really high, but if you are not used to wearing high heels, then don't buy them. But if you are used to, then you will love them. They look amazing on, super sexy. I can't wait to wear them at my wedding. I have gotten so many compliments on them already and the day is not here yet.

These are great looking boots and fit well. However, they smell like very strong shoe polish. I tried airing them out and they made the entire room smell. Too bad because they are great looking boots.

At first I was happy with the boots because they fit my 18" calves. They made a lot of noise, but that was okay with me. However, they were really uncomfortable after only a short wearing. I was still planning on keeping them, but unfortunately after wearing them once, they ripped all along the ankle. I sent them back; so disappointing!

What a gorgeous shoe! Horrible to walk in, however. Stunning, and eye catching, but the angle on the ball of the foot makes it so difficult to walk in. As much as I loved them, I had to send them back!

Torture, your name is Ivana. Ouch! These shoes are incredibly painful. I am on 4 1/2 inch heels all day so I can handle the height. The shoe, however, it's insanely uncomfortable, the material has no give, which makes me doubt if it's real leather, the edges are sharp and I almost cut myself putting the shoe in. Also my feet are narrow but my pinky wouldn't fit in it comfortably and I ordered it a half size bigger than my size! The shoe is gorgeous. For those who didn't know the mesh was there, I recommend to use in the future the zoom feature on the picture of the shoe, you can see things there that you can't see otherwise. The mesh made the look be even that more beautiful and it's a shame that I have to return it, but if I don't they'll just sit in the back of my closet doing absolutely nothing. I like my feet too much to submit them to those shoes. To the bride that wore them for 6 hours, Wow, I take my hat off, I didn't last 10 minutes on my carpet.

These are a stylish boot that you can dress up or down; a black tee, funky belt and you\'re good to go, or a gunmetal purse and black trench would look spectacular. Just enough heel to lengthen your legs but still comfortable. I\'ll be wearing these all winter..

This is the perfect wedding shoe, very comfortable and sturdy. I thought the finishing on the stones would get caught in the dress, but they were no issue at all. They look and feel amazing. I simply love them!

This boot was very cute; however, I did not like the pull on design. This was not the deal breaker, though. They fit well in my calf, but were very big around my ankles, so big they were really poofy and I just did not like that look. They were very comfortable, though, and nice and tall, almost to my knee, a bit higher than other knee boots.

These boots looked cuter online than it did when I received it. The color (brown leather) looked more metallic. When I tried them on, it reminded me of "pirate boots". They are cute, but not cute enough to keep.

I agree with many of the reviewers on here about the quality of the shoe: very cheap, with uneven seams and visible glue. After 3 hours of wear, the leather (is it really leather?) creased on one foot and sort of bubbled away from the inside lining. I like the look of this shoe, just wish it was of a higher quality.

You can wear them up, or folded down. They are trendy enough to fit in with the riding boot trend, but classic enough that I know they will be in style for a long time. Worth the money. And if you have wide calves these boots give you enough room to wear them with tights or skinny jeans. Not much arch support, would suggest getting extra support from inserts if you need it.

Cute shoes, I bought them as my back-up pair for my wedding. They are pretty comfortable, but I suggest wearing them before hand to break them in for a special occasion. I think I will be able to wear them again with a cocktail dress.

If you have problems getting sexy shoes for your size 11-12 foot the way I do, you will not regret this purchase. Every penny I paid for it was well spent. These shoes are a must buy! I read the reviews on them and decided to get them in the brown satin, and I was never more happy. I got compliments from friends who thought I looked way sexy for my age, and they fit like a dream, too. I usually have problems with shoes fitting my left foot, but this was not the case with these, as the front did stretch a little to the shape of my foot after a while as one writer said hers loosened after a while, too. I wore them to a wedding yesterday and danced my butt off in them with no worry, even after being in them from 3 pm, and walking around during the cocktail hour to ensure that the guests were happy and taken care of. You will be as happy and feel as sexy as I did. Happy dancing.
