Overall:

These shoes match my wedding dress perfectly. After wearing them during my bridals, my feet hurt a little, but not anything unusual with this style of shoe.

I love this boot! I has always been hard to find a boot that fit my wider calf but this is perfect. The strap at the top of the shaft actually is velcro so you can adjust it tighter if need be, but there is also room if you want to tuck in jeans. Very comfortable to walk in. I wore them to the office and got lots of compliments.

I love this boot! The wider calf is the perfect size, there is even enough room to tuck in jeans. The heel height is perfect for dressing up, but not too high to be comfortable to walk in. The zipper in the back instead of the side was a surprise, but I love it because it doesn\'t spoil the line of the boot.

Okay, unfortunately, the previous review were correct. Wonderful boot, fits like a glove; does smell like shoe polish, but that's not a big deal; however, the squeaking is undeniable. If you do not constantly walk around in a loud area, the noise will embarrass you. Unfortunately, I'm returning. I wouldn't advise doing what the other reviewer said about using Vaseline, that breaks down leather. It's just really too loud. Bummer! Ordering something else!

For VERY wide calves. I couldn't wait for these boots to arrive. However, the wide calf is truly WIDE. I have 15" calves, and these boots looked ridiculous. There's no stretch to them, so they just looked like big fireman boots up top. Alas. Also, I was thrown by the "synthetic leather upper" and was expecting leather. They are indeed synthetic/man-made.

I love these boots! They were exactly as described and fit like a glove. I wear them almost every day. If you want a nice sturdy comfy boot with a little edge but not a full blown biker boot, these are the ones!

The boots are the most comfortable boots I\'ve ever worn. Stylish and a great fit. I was able to wear them all day and night the first time I put them on. Nice lining and a great zipper.

Very cute shoes and would have been comfortable too if they fit me! I ordered my normal size (7 1/2); however, it was a little too big in the toe area. This is usually not a problem for me so I was a little surprised. They also slipped off my heel a little. I would suggest ordering 1/2 size smaller if you're in between sizes.

These shoes are so pretty! They matched my dress & I needed a low heel due to the length of the dress. Unfortunately they were extremely uncomfortable! They didn't bend or stretch ONE BIT. I only wore them MAYBE an hour & I had to go find my flip-flops to finish out the evening. Sorry, comfort really is key & these shoes had NONE of it!

I thought the boot would slouch around the ankle while the shaft would stay straight. It barely slouches anywhere, which wasn't the look I wanted but the black boot is still slimming, especially when paired with black leggings. It's very true to size (I'm someone who's usually a 7.5 in every brand, though) and fits me perfectly. I would say that if you want space to wear thicker socks, maybe order half a size up? I tried these on with my regular socks and it was pretty snug, but not unbearably so. It fits best with tights, in my opinion.

Finally, a basic black boot without any fussy details and a truly wide calf! I have very oddly shaped legs. My feet and ankles are very narrow, while my calves are 18 inches at the widest point. Unfortunately, because of this these boots tend to bunch a little at the ankle, but not too badly. These are surprisingly comfy for a pointy toed boot, and the heels are at a sensible height for walking. I like having the zipper on the back instead of the side, and it goes almost all the way down the heel making the boots easy to get on and zip up. One thing that is confusing is the web description of this product, which says genuine leather, but the inside of the boot says all man-made materials. In any case, these boots look well made and do not have any odd chemical smells that man-made boots usually have. For the price, these are well worth it!

Dude, these are the most incredible, good looking shoes I have ever worn. I consider myself a shoe whore and I can easily say I am impressed with this shoe. I have my shoes delivered to my work for convenience. I work with the public, and even my older clientele wished they could still wear a pair like this. I am very pleased and know I can strut myself around being confident and know I look great. Whoo hoo to you! Love them!

Very nice, but people like me who don't ordinarily wear pointed toe should be told that we should order a 1/2 size larger. I will probably send them back and reorder and that means I will have to pay the shipping to send them back. The color is nice although a red suede would have been nicer. I have ordered many shoes and have been very happy. Thanks.

I'm super pleased with these boots. They're stylish and well made. The 2 1/4 inch heel is nice, because it gives you some lift, without killing your feet. As far as wide calf goes, these boots just zip all the way up, but there's no room for jeans to be tucked into them for me. I'll just be wearing them under jeans or with skirts. Overall, I'm very happy with these, and I'd recommend them.

Wide calf - I bought the grey color and I love the way they look in the box. I put them on my feet and they fit perfectly, but I couldn't pull the top part around my calf easily, I could have with some work but it just wasn't worth it. I'm 5'10 and about 160 pounds. I really want these boots but I know that they'll just sit in the closet and this is money I can invest in something else. I really hope this review helps you out a little.

Love this boot! The shaft of the boot gives just enough room for a pair of skinny jeans and my wide calves, without being too tight. You can also wear a pair of thick socks with this boot. I really like the simple style of this boot. It goes with just about anything, dressy or casual. Only complaint was that I wish it came in regular leather instead of only suede.

These boots are wonderful! Very stylish! I have very large calves so the top part is a little snug on me, but it just makes it a cute slouchy boot. They are super comfortable, and every time I walk past a reflective surface I have take a glance at them. They are definitely the best practical boots I\'ve ever owned.
