I have wide calves but these boots seemed much more like extra wide calf. Unfortunately I have to send then back.

This is a beautiful shoe. It looks great, and fits great except...the back heel strap, does not stay up on m foot. As I walk, it falls off, and under my heel. So, I am reluctantly returning it. I think I realize now why I like 'ankle' straps...the strap stays up. This is a great looking shoe on the foot.

Awesomely comfortable and supportive work shoe. I can't even tell I'm wearing heels! Very well made and stylish too.

Very disappointing. These were made of inferior materials. The interior was not smooth and soft but scratchy and uncomfortable.

I have a very hard time finding wide-shaft boots that are actually wide in the shaft but not in the foot, so when I saw these were a 19 1/2 shaft and came in a regular width, I hesitated only for a moment due to price and the fact that they were real leather. I'm glad I gave them a shot, they fit like a dream. I will say that the shaft would fit UP TO a 19 1/2 calf. I have an 18 1/2 calf and these zipped right up over my jeans (size 8.5, reg. width), but with not much room to spare (they also were a little short, hitting about 1.5 inches below my knee, and I'm only 5'4. ;) I will be keeping these as they're a classic style and will look great with skirts and dresses as well as jeans. They also seem like they'll be comfortable to walk around in, but only time will tell for that...they were great around the house at least!

Does Ros Hommerson know how to make a boot? Heck yes! Bought these sweet looking boots in hopes they may fit. I bought a 7 WW and they fit well! I have really big calves... I may need new laces for the look I am going for but the boot fits and the shaft expands wide enough for even large gals to wear. These boots will look great when I am riding, with jeans, or that special eclectic look I go for. Well made, supple leather, nice boot.

These heels were absolutely fabulous. The fit was true to size. I have had many foot problems and foot surgeries. I really never thought I could be comfortable in any size heel. This shoe was the first heel that I had worn in many, many years and I was able to keep them on for the entire evening with dancing!

This is a beautiful shoe, and I so badly wanted to wear it. However, it runs a little small, hence, I noticed a small pinch in my toes. For that reason only I chose to return them. I may still reorder the next size, as it a lovely shoe.

These are great boots! I get comments from men and women especially when fully extended to the knee. The foot was true to size, but the shaft was slightly roomier than expected. With a wide foot and 13½" calves, I rarely wear boots. However, these are sturdy, comfortable and stylish! I definitely recommend them!

Fits overall very well. Shaft is not too wide, so I can wear them with or without jeans. Slightly too roomy around the ankles. I have wide feet (12DD), but I've found that these boots fit me comfortably.

This is a fantastic shoe! It is the perfect flat to look nice with skirts/dresses or with pants. I am a musician and end up doing small gigs where I have to run around quite a bit and these are perfect!

I did like this boot and it's one of the few that I own that is a perfect fit. The leg part is more than ample if you have big legs, which I don't. You can put your pants down inside with no problem.

These shoes are surprisingly comfortable, with all that strapping. I'd also like to put in a good word for the service from Zappos. Excellent!

Shoe is cut down so far in front that it cut into the top of my big toe joint when I walked, which was extremely uncomfortable.

Nice shoe, fit well in just the size I would normally want. Unfortunately, the finishing band around the top of the shoe is overlapped on the inside of the heel and is sharp and unwearable. It was the perfect shoe to match my bag, and I'm pretty disappointed. I'll be returning.

I love these boots! I measured my calf and picked these out accordingly and they fit perfectly. I can wear them with leggings, tights and skinny jeans. I definitely have wide calves and have a hard time finding boots. They have a bit taller heel than I would like for wearing for more than a few hours while standing or walking but the look is worth it. I would like a bit more padding in the foot bed. I'm 5'8" and I wish these came up a bit higher on my calves. They do not go up all the way to my knees.

These are my new favorite shoes! I have wide feet and it's so frustrating trying to find fashionable shoes that fit well and are comfortable. These shoes are all of those things! I wore them to a cocktail reception where I was on my feet for quite a while and never felt the least bit uncomfortable. Add to this the fact that Zappos ships so quickly, and this purchase was an all-around winner.

I love them! They fit great. They are extremely comfortable and I finally found a boot that fits my large calves (17 1/2 inches).
