Super speedy shipping, very accurate product description, sleek and dangeresque! The on line video description adds to the convenience of internet shopping. Only recommendation is insoles. I buy my own insoles for added cushioning for all-day wear.

Great boots -- much nicer looking in person than in the photo or video. Are pretty much true-to-fit, in my case. I usually wear a 9.5 in shoes and a 9.5 in this boot fit me pretty well. I'll need to buy inserts for more cushioning, but I think a 9 would be too small. The upper part of the boot is the perfect circumference -- neither too tight nor too loose (my calves are about average), yet boots are easy to slip on and off. It's difficult to find well made vegan boots, so I am over the moon. Highly recommend.

Update from my last review. Actually, a 9 fit much better than a 9.5, so I'd say go with your regular size. And the boot doesn't really need extra cushioning at all. I can wear them all day, as is, comfortably.

These are my first cowboy boots and I love them. I am usually 8½ or 9 and with these I took an 8½. The faux leather looks very real in person, the color is great and I love the slouch. I have very skinny calves (about 13") and my trouble with boots is the shaft being too big around. These have plenty of room but I also will be able to wear them with skirts. There is virtually no padding on the sole but I threw in an insole and they are perfect.

About Roper
In recognition of a lifetime of contributions to the industry, Sam Mandelbaum’s peers named him to the Western Image Awards Hall of Fame in August of 2003. The leadership of Karman Inc. is now in the hands of Sam’s son, Gary Mandelbaum. Gary shares his father’s vision for growth and continues to make the corporation successful. Karman Inc. is unique in the industry of being one of the only Western apparel and footwear manufacturers and distributors for Roper brands. In January of 1986 under the design leadership of Nancy Leavitt, the company launched the Roper brand with a big splash at the Denver market. Acceptance for the brand was immediate from retailers and consumers alike. A few short years later in 1993, Roper again broke the mold when it introduced its own line of footwear called Horseshoes, unique hybrid combining tennis shoes with boots. Roper managed to create a new niche in the footwear market. Today, the footwear category accounts for about 40 percent of Roper’s total sales volume.
Whether you are looking for casual shoes or hard working boots, Roper has got you covered. Roper designs and manufactures a wide array of boots and shoes for every aspect of the modern cowboy’s life. Roper’s beautifully designed boots and shoes are made from the highest quality materials. From rugged work boots to fun western fashion, Roper boots are made to last.

I am in love with these boots. These too are my first cowboy pair and I did a lot of online shopping to find the perfect one. I could not be more happy with the results. They have a lot of little details that make them so very stylish.

Really cute in person. But, when I put them on, they hurt so much, I'm afraid to wear them for the day to see if they get comfortable. If they don't, I'm stuck with a pair of shoes I'll never wear. Very rigid - at least to start with.
