About Roper
Roper is the largest manufacturer of both footwear and apparel within the western industry. The company’s casual clothing and footwear for men, women and children are sold exclusively through western retailers across the United States in more than 2,000 stores. Roper's vision for growth can be traced all the way back to the young man who founded the company 59 years ago. Fresh from the service to his country during World War II, Sam Mandelbaum returned to work in production and merchandising at Miller Western Wear. In 1948, after being overlooked for a promotion, Mandelbaum decided to strike out on his own. With enthusiasm, his knowledge of the Western wear industry, and dedicated work ethic, Mandelbaum, with the financial backing of Jack Karsh, opened Karman Inc.
In recognition of a lifetime of contributions to the industry, Sam Mandelbaum’s peers named him to the Western Image Awards Hall of Fame in August of 2003. The leadership of Karman Inc. is now in the hands of Sam’s son, Gary Mandelbaum. Gary shares his father’s vision for growth and continues to make the corporation successful. Karman Inc. is unique in the industry of being one of the only Western apparel and footwear manufacturers and distributors for Roper brands. In January of 1986 under the design leadership of Nancy Leavitt, the company launched the Roper brand with a big splash at the Denver market. Acceptance for the brand was immediate from retailers and consumers alike. A few short years later in 1993, Roper again broke the mold when it introduced its own line of footwear called Horseshoes, unique hybrid combining tennis shoes with boots. Roper managed to create a new niche in the footwear market. Today, the footwear category accounts for about 40 percent of Roper’s total sales volume.

Very comfortable and warm. I had to order a size smaller than my size for a proper fit. After such a wet year, these are great muck boots for the barn.
The boot color is a different grey. It looks charcoal grey; when I received the boot it looked green. I will return.
Very cute on the foot. A bit hard to get off, but that means they won't slip off.
I am very happy with my purchase. The shoes have a great look, feel and comfort they are awesome. I am thrilled with the purchase all the way from ordering online, to the quick turn around on delivery to a fantastic looking shoe that I have gotten great compliments on and feels great. I will be back soon to order yet another collectible from Zappos!
Great jacket but the zipper is a pain. I can't figure out why sometimes it works perfect and others it sticks and won't go up. It is just a zipper it should just work!
These are my first cowboy boots and I love them. I am usually 8½ or 9 and with these I took an 8½. The faux leather looks very real in person, the color is great and I love the slouch. I have very skinny calves (about 13") and my trouble with boots is the shaft being too big around. These have plenty of room but I also will be able to wear them with skirts. There is virtually no padding on the sole but I threw in an insole and they are perfect.

I cannot believe that there are no reviews for this vest. I originally got a north face vest that was not what I wanted, so I sent that back and got this one instead. Seriously this is the nicest vest that I have ever seen. The hood is detachable, it is slim fitting (not boxy), and the studs down the front separate it from every other white vest. It is a beautiful vest and thanks to all the Zappos staff who helped me and were so patient. I absolutely love my vest!
I'd never buy a faux leather shoe like this again! Once it scuffs -- there's no way of mending it and it looks horrible. With leather you can at least polish and buff out scratches but not so with these. Love the design but hate the material. Roper should use real leather and these would fly off the shelves!
I bought these as a Christmas present for my step daughter. She really liked them; unfortunately she's a 10 wide & I thought a 10.5 might work but no dice so back they go & she'll have to pick a pair out.
Great boot to walk in mud, water and muck! It is what the name says, a barn boot. Great for barn and paddock chores.

I have been wearing these shoes for years and I love them. They are a little tight at the start, but I found that if you put a can of soup or a can of that size in the instep to stretch them for awhile when they are new it really helps!
Beautiful workmanship, but not very comfortable. Tried 2 sizes but toes are too narrow no matter size. Also kind of slippery soles and I need to have some grip.
I ordered these boots to wear out in the evening with a nice skirt or dress. I was not disappointed. For the price, they are very cute and relatively comfortable. They are not real leather so they get pretty warm and you can certainly tell if you look close that they are not real leather but again, for the money, great boot. Sequin stitching is cute!

The boots themselves were a gift and they fit and my daughter liked them but it is the way you do business that is the real pleasure. No hassles, free shipping! It is a joy.
These are beautiful shoes but even after trying two sizes, the toe area was too tight. Not side to side but top to bottom. I tried lots of different socks but they are just not comfortable.
This is my first pair of cowboy boots! Best shoe decision I ever made. Excellent price for a quality shoe. I had always wanted to find a true cowboy boot but with a higher heel. I get so many compliments.

These sandals definitely are small. I normally wear size 9 and ordered a size 10 and they fit perfectly. I will return them though because I found them to be uncomfortable. They are like thongs, not sandals. The sole of the shoe is very thin and flat. At least thongs are made out of rubber and there is some cushion when you walk. The upper strap looks nice in the picture but the ornaments are very cheap looking and don't show up as much as they should. They kind of blend in with the strap and at least with the purple ones. Overall I was disappointed with these shoes and will return them.
I have been looking for shimmery/shiny silver boots. The quality of this item was poor. It felt and appeared cheap. The upper is not leather so it is not breathable at all. There is mo cushion in sole so they are very uncomfortable.
