Overall:

These Rockstars rock! I have owned these for an hour and just returned from a 1/2 hour walk in them. Awesome boots! Keepers! Very comfortable! Based on other reviews, I ordered an 8 instead of my usual 7 or 7.5. So grateful that others gave the heads up, because these do run small. I found these on Zappos by searching for Rubber Sole black boots, because I got a pair of Vibram-soled high-heel boots last year (as an emergency purchase on vacation) and found them to be bizarrely comfortable. The rubber heels and soles on these have the same effect, comfort! Also: I have wide Flintstone feet, but the width on these is fine. Also: Zappos is awesome!

These are great looking boots. I, too, was worried about ordering them since they were not real leather, but they look great! They don't look fake at all and are very sharp looking boots. The only thing I could say is the tops aren't that great (I got the black ones), but I always wear my jeans down over them anyway. Don't hesitate to buy them because of the synthetic leather!

I love these boots! I looked forever to find a cute western looking boot to wear with casual or dressy clothes and I finally found them! These boots look like something you would find in an old western movie. However, I am pretty sure they are not for working in, but that's not why I got them. But for fashion reasons I would definitely recommend them.

I purchased the Roper Chunk boot in black; they were so comfy and cute I had to order the brown ones also. I wear these boots from 6:00 am till 5:00 pm; they are as comfy as my running shoes. Wonderful for the wet cold days we have on the Oregon coast!

I ordered the Roper Fashion Mule in Black and Brown, 2 different sizes (just in case). The brown was too big so I called Zappos. They were very pleasant and willing to exchange size without being charged again and trusted me to return the other. I love them! The mules are very comfortable and stylish. The brown has a slight grayish look to it, which matches a lot of my brown and gray clothes. I love them and would recommend them to anyone.

I bought two pairs of this boot (one black and one brown). I've had them for one month and the heels had already worn down. No big deal, I can just get them reheeled. Well I found out that I can't get them reheeled because the heel is made of hollow plastic (cheap) and you have to buy a special 4-prong type of heel replacement. Our shoe repair store doesn't have any and never will. If this was any type of department store, I'd be taking them back.

Pretty mule, but definitely wide. I kept them anyway. And I do wear them. I just wish they were a little more narrow.

They are not as comfy as I thought they would be. Feel pretty stiff; need to have socks or liner on otherwise hurts your skin.

I am consistently an 8, but when I tried these on, they were so big that they fell off. After a quick exchange for a 7.5, I am happy. They still seem a little big, but that may be because they are boots and I\'m used to shoes. I get lots of compliments and they\'re very comfy, so I wear them all the time!

One of my favorite looks is jeans, a pretty white blouse, and turquoise jewelry. These boots (I bought the tan with turquoise insets variation) are the absolutely perfect finishing touch! They're great over skinny jeans or leggings, and equally great under boot cut or flare leg jeans. They're not only great looking, but amazingly comfortable as well. The heel adds the perfect dressy touch, but it's so comfortable because it's actually made from the same rubbery (but tough) material as the sole. I found these to run small. I normally take an 8 in boots, but needed a 9 in these. The leather is actually an oiled nubuck, so it has a slightly velvety finish. You can live in these boots!

Love these clogs! I bought the tan and then bought the black. They are very comfortable and substantial, not wobbly like so many high clogs. Really cute too, and good quality. They fit me true to size.

I love these shoes. They are very light-weight, have great arch support and the slight padding make them extremely comfortable. They look like a boot but you slip them on and off like mules. I get many compliments on them and bought a brown pair as well. Zappos is the absolute greatest.

The mule is very well made, but the medium width is extremely wide....will need to wear a very thick sock with it.

I bought these as a joke, because I am very tall, but they were so comfortable and good-looking that I kept them. I have worm them for hours at a time, no problem. Sometimes I even come in the house and forget to take them off, and I always take my shoes off. One thing I like about them is the rubber heel and sole; very secure, especially for heels. I also have gotten lots of compliments on them, and several people saw them and wanted some. I think the quality is very good, the price is right, and I give them 5 stars.

I love my Roper boots! They are true to size and have good support. I can wear them all day at work and they are great in the rain. I was thrilled to find a western boot by a boot company that isn't leather. I am sure Roper doesn't care about vegans or leather free issues, but they could promote this boot as such. It has a bit of a synthetic lining which is comfy and warm enough for rainy Oregon days. I have two pairs and really don't care to wear any of my other boots any more. They get frequent compliments.

I was excited to get this shirt for summer with jeans, but it was very poorly made, with loose threads on many of the seams. Very thin and fit was too large.

Wore these boots for the first time last weekend. Wore them to an outdoor event and did a lot of walking. They were so comfortable! And people actually stopped and complimented me on them and asked where I got them! I am going to purchase another pair in a different color, I love them so much!

These boots are great! They are really comfortable and obviously cute. However, be aware that they run a little bit small. I\'m usually an 8 1/2 and I had to order a 9.

These are really fun shoes. I spend a lot of time in the city and in the country and they are perfect for both; more functional than a taller boot because I can slip them on and off easier.

Gorgeous, in the box at least! These boots are gorgeous, stunningly pretty. I loved them, until I tried to put them on. I couldn't get them on my foot! I don't have wide or large feet, but I couldn't get my foot past the ankle area! I even looked into having zippers sewn into the boots, but that was very pricey. I am ordering a larger size and hoping that it works.
