Rockport Ellingwoods are elegantly nice. I got luau feet and so I'm grateful for the wide sizes that are available. When I was a kid in Hawaii I went to a Catholic school (don't ask me about them priests with them wandering eyes) and we had to wear dress shoes. Are you serious? Dress shoes on a keiki in Hawaii? And what made it worse was that our playground was asphalt that would heat up during recess. It was like being on a lava flow. Anyway, I've always hated shoes since, but these Rockports are comfy. They have a shock-absorbing rubber sole and a removable inner sole about a 1/4 inch thick at the heel. I've been breaking them in on my daily 24 mile bicycle commute to work. No problems so far. And as an added bonus passing wahines keep telling me that nothing makes them want to go to the powder room more than a sharp-dressed man. Are you talking about me? Auwe! Mahalo, Zappos.

I've now had these shoes for 3 months. They've been great. I wear them about 3-4 times a week. I always order sizes 7.5 and 8 EE. The 7.5's fit perfectly.

Rockport shoes are some of the most comfortable; and these fit the bill! Great-looking cap toe with nice lines and finish, and they are comfortable. Zappos delivered quality shoes quickly. I am very pleased with the shoes and the service!

Love Rockport. I bought one pair in Ox Blood and one pair in Black. A very reliable and comfortable shoe. I spend a lot of time on my feet and these allow for great cornering on carpet or hard wood.

This shoe is a replacement for a shoe I purchased several years ago for a brick and mortar store. I had to then settle for a larger size since I have a wide foot. With Zappos, I got the exact size for my foot. The shoe wears well, it polishes nicely and it holds up with great support. It is a very comfortable shoe.

Extremely comfortable for every-day, on-my-feet wear. Quite durable for the price and worn about 5 days per week for nearly a year. I am on my 3rd or 4th pair, and I hope they never stop making these!

I love these shoes! I have a narrow foot and finding a shoe that will feel right and look good is difficult for me. Thank you Zappos for the Rockport Office Essentials Ellingwood. These are great shoes. A dress shoe that is comfortable - wow. I've had Rockports for years, but these don't look like walking shoes. They are very comfortable and you really can't be the price for the combination of great looks and great comfort.

Great shoe for a "dress" or "business casual" workplace. Comes in a wide width too...a plus. Comfort level is very good, especially the padded back of the shoe. I ordered in the evening; package arrived the very next day (Standard shipping)...crazy-fast !

Like others have mentioned, I found them to be a bit stiff at first. I've worn them on and off for most of a month now and they're comfortable. (Not sneaker-comfortable, but great for dress shoes.) They also look reasonably good, and don't scuff very easily. I'm very happy with them.
