These boots were super cute, but I just couldn't keep them because of the weird cardboard in the back.

I really like these boots and did not have any problem with the heel as others reported. They keep my feet warm, but water does soak through them eventually so I would not recommend them if you will be in some serious snow… but they are great for casual use.

These boots are great! They're a little different from those the masses are wearing yet still are stylish. They are comfortable and didn't break the bank. Zappos is great!

Great boots. Sizing was right on. I did feel the ridge in the ankle/heel area at first but it walked out after a couple wears. Very warm, very comfortable and a great price. The lacing up is a little bit of a chore, but I still really like these boots.

Weird heel - Should have heeded the other reviewers who mentioned the weird cardboard heel insert. It really was noticeable and in spite of the fact that I liked the style of these boots, I decided to return them for fear that on a long walk, that cardboard thing would really start to rub.

Shoe Size: Felt true to sizeThese boots are super cute, but when you slip them on there is a very hard piece of cardboard or something in the back of the heel. The pain is too great to even considering wearing them. Sadly, I had to send them back! I will pick a new pair from Zappos because they are the best company to work with!

I searched for at least an hour on Zappos to find the perfect style boot. This is exactly the style I wanted. I read previous reviews and read about the rubbing in the heel and through perhaps it could be broken in. However, it's just a terrible design. When you put your hand in there, you can feel the hard ridges protruding. They hit me just below the ankle bone on each side, both feet. I am sending them back because I know they would be painful to wear. There was not a lot of cushion or support in the sole either. I believe that I had also received a pair that had been returned previously as well. While the style is awesome, I strongly recommend trying these on in the store first because they absolutely will cause you pain. Not to mention, they were selling for cheaper at Macy's (before the sale price I found the day after I ordered these!).

Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthWhen I first tried these boots on they felt great. After wearing them after a long walk there was a plastic that really rubbed my foot. They are now broken and I haven't had a problem with them. I am disappointed in how cold my feet will get in them unless I wear thick socks. Otherwise, they look nice and are comfortable now.

Love this boot! I have slightly wide feet; I wear either a 7W or 7.5M, and a 7.5 fits great. The toe area has plenty of room and they have been comfortable from the start. Fits my larger calves since the fit is adjustable with the ties. Have worn them both with jeans tucked in and out and is comfortable both ways. Okay amount of cushioning, fine so far for my sensitive feet. Waterproofed these with Kiwi Select Universal Protector and they look great after two weeks of solid wear in the snowy streets.

I am exceedingly pleased with Zappos' service. I ordered these boots at about 8:30 pm eastern time, and they were on my doorstep when I came home from work the next day. Now that's impressive shipping, and it was free! As far as the boots, they are super cute. I ordered them for fashion rather than function so I am not surprised or disappointed that they are not particularly warm. The strange rubbing on the ankle described by many other reviewers presented no problem for me even in spite of the fact that I have severely overpronated feet. They are quite comfortable, sturdy, and cute. I sprayed water proofer on them and they work like a charm for fashion in the Pittsburgh winter. I am generally a size 8 so that's what I ordered, and they fit like a dream.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: No arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthThese boots are very soft inside because of the wool lining, but there is limited cushion and after walking a long time, the bottom of my heels begin to feel a little tender. Also, I have had these boots for a year and the suede is beginning to come apart from the boots, especially at the toe and where the laces are thread. I wear these boots all the time, but if I had known these things before purchasing, I probably would have chosen a different boot.

Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: No arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthThese are desperately cute and well made, but I think they run super short. I was crammed in for my size, and I have a narrow foot. I'd say get a full size down, maybe even 1/2 size, especially if you wanna wear a winter weight sock.

These boots are made for everything. This sensational pair of winter foot wear is everything I could want in a boot. They fit true to size and are snugly, warm, and comfortable. I am a size 8.5 and the boots are a perfect fit. I was a bit weary to order because I had read some reviews about these boots being uncomfortable, but they are not. In fact they are quite the opposite. I walk all over campus in them and all I get are compliments and comfortable, warm feet.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt narrower than markedVisually, these boots are great. Super cute. However, wearing them provides the opposite experience. When these boots were shipped to me they were smashed flat into the box, pushing the heel WAY out of shape. Now whenever I wear them I have to wear a bandaid on each heel, the thickest pair of socks I can find, and I still end up with a blister spanning the entire length of my heel. I think that if you bought these boots in a store, they would be fine. But because of the way they are shipped, the whole fit is compromised. I was really disappointed with that.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthFirst off I'd like to say that Zappos is the best place to order shoes. Free shipping both ways! I bought these Rocket Dog boots in the tan color. They are really cute. I get stopped all the time and tell them I found them on Zappos. I have a pair of Rocket Dogs from years ago they are a size 7 but since these were lined with fur I bought a size 7 and a half and they fit me great. So I'd advise to go a half size larger because of the cozy fur lining. They are so cool looking and cozy. I hope this helped someone out there. The reviews are great to help people. Thank you Zappos.

Returned. Buyer beware, poor construction. there\'s a hard edge that rubs against the ankle. Tried them on in my kitchen and my ankles were already getting red and raw! If I could rate comfort at 0 stars, I would. On a positive note, they looked OK.

Thank you for prompt delivery. I sent it as a gift to my mom in Europe. Hopefully everything will be okay.
