Overall:

The shoes were a little different than I was expecting. The lighter parts of the shoe can look either gray or brownish depending on the type of light you\'re in. It also took a day or 2 to break them in. They were a little stiff and uncomfortable the first day or so, but then they were fine.

A great looking shoe. I love it. My only complaint is that it runs large. I normally wear a 7 1/2 and this 7 is a little loose. I love the look and so do others.

Bought these for my husband, he loves the look. In the process of breaking them in now, a little stiff in the heel but should be fine after fully broke in.

I absolutely love these shoes. I found them highly discounted in the clearance racks of DSW, and I had to buy them. My feet are measured at a 13.5 A, and the shoes I bought are a 13. They are cut pretty wide, I would guess about a D, and I am glad for that because there is plenty of room for my feet in there. I would almost say I might be able to squeeze into a 12, but I do not want to push it. These shoes are gorgeous, they get tons of compliments, and I feel great when I wear them. Because they're a little on the large side for their size, I need to buy an insole (plus a little extra padding never hurts.) They're extremely comfortable on my feet. I love Robert Wayne's style.

Robert Wayne Republic Asskickers - I have to admit, I am very happy with these shoes. I had been searching around for a pair of dress shoes/boots in this style and when I laid my eyes on these I was astounded. They are very cool and you feel awesome when in them, although there are some problems. First things first, they are not the most comfortable shoes and can only be worn with long socks. Anything below the ankle and you are just asking for blisters and sores. While they may have pretty good arch support, they are very narrow towards the toe, and are a bit uncomfortable after a while, although this can be countered with thicker socks, or placing some Dr. Soles in the shoes. Complaints aside, I still love the hell out of them and would recommend them to anybody.

Robert wayne rays are very stylish driving moc. They border on being slightly dressy, but definitely very comfy. When ordering make sure you know your exact Robert Wayne shoe size, as the shoe fits snugly. I started wearing Robert Wayne dress shoes about 1.5 yrs ago and find his shoes to be well made, stylish and real attention-getters for the price. As for driving Moc, Rays are excellent, I also recommend the other Robert Wayne dress shoes, hard to beat for the price

Great dark brown leather, true to size and very attractive. Bought them to match a chocolate brown sportcoat I wear constantly, and they were a perfect match. First wore them with khakis and a dress shirt for a full day of wedding events, and they were comfortable for 8+ hours of continuous wear on the first day! Wore them again for a more casual evening out with friends and looked cool with jeans. Got lots of compliments. Can tell these will quickly become a staple in my wardrobe.

I love these shoes - I love everything about theses shoes and when I wear them I always get somebody commenting on sweet they are. I couldn't be happier! I have been telling people for a few years now how great Zappos is and that is you want great shoes and clothes, they are place to go. I wouldn't shop anywhere else!

These were a gift and all I can say is they are soooo cool! Everyone comments on them. It doesn't even feel like you're wearing shoes. Better than house slippers, but very substantial!! Love em. I would give 10 stars for the style if I could.

Wow - I have gotten so many compliments from these shoes. I am so glad that I spent the extra money for something that I really wanted. Make sure you order a full size smaller than you think. I read other reviews saying the same thing, and I listened and worked out great!

Awesome shoes/boots - I got a pair last week for an unbelievable price and love them. I would have paid quite a bit more than I did and probably would have for a similar product. Comfortable, there will be no "break in" time for my feet in these (I usually wear Teva sandal/shoes) and they look very good.

I ordered the lighter brown version of this shoe (Rome). This shoe looks awesome, and I receive compliments every time I wear them at the office or out on the town. They're comfy enough to wear all day at work. I usually wear an 11, but I had to get these in a 10. I would order 1 size smaller than you normally do. Great shoe all around!

These shoes are very stylish, I got the black/mulberry and love the colors, but they are too narrow in the toe area for me. My toes feel really squished. I've always worn a half size larger when it comes to Nikes and have never had this problem. Also, the shoes are a little heavier than I'm used to. Too bad, because these are very stylish shoes.

Style with surprising fit - I take a 12 narrow shoe. It is impossible to find unique and stylish shoes in narrow sizes, and if you do, they are $200.00 to $300.00 or more. Actually, I have never found shoes with Robert Wayne style for any price. I found my first pair of Robert Wayne shoes, marked 12-D, at a discount store. I tried them with little hope that they would fit, since 12-D shoes usually fall right off my feet. You can't believe my surprise when they fit like a narrow shoe. I got so many compliments on them, and they are so unique, I bought 3 more pair of Robert Wayne's from Zappos. They all fit exactly the same. Please do not change the last to make these shoes!

Zappos rules!These sleek, eye catching boots are the bomb. Interesting design, bring out the wardrobe, and comfortable leather. There is hard rubber on the heel to catch those slippery spots, but slick everywhere else. Get yourself a pair! In addition, they run a size big.

Get Yourself Noticed - Ordered a pair of gray Romes and am definitely glad I did. If you want a unique shoe that will get you noticed and elicit great compliments then this is the way to go. I have several pairs of Robert Wayne shoes and boots and they all draw lots of nice compliments but these seem to be the most popular. So, if you want to add some real style and flair to your wardrobe, get yourself a pair of these bad boys. Do note that they run about a full size larger than marked, I had to exchange the original pair for the smaller size smaller and this pair is perfect. The people at Zappos made the process quick and painless...had the new pair the next day even though the order was placed an hour after their guaranteed shipping deadline.
