These are my favorite shoes, everyone notices them and comments.

I agree with the previous reviewer on both comments - this shoe is on the narrow side and it has a ton of sparkle. That said, even with bunions I'm keeping this pair as they do have some stretch to them. I'm able to wear them all day with no issues. And they have great style - I was sold when I took them to the tailor to try them on with a pair of pants and he complimented me and encouraged me to keep them because they're a shoe you don't see everywhere - so true!

Be careful on size. I am an 8. I ordered an 8 and my heel slides right out of the shoe. I even placed a heel pad in the shoe and my heel still fell out. On the contrary, the 7.5 in the Veriab (very similar shoe) was extremely small and I could barely squeeze my foot into it. I love both shoes and the style is wonderful and I'm so disappointed at the sizing. It's not nice spending hundreds on pairs of shoes to discover a huge discrepancy in sizing. I may try again as I really want these shoes - either style. This one was so comfortable (sans the heel). Oh, and with the downward platform in the front, with each forward step the slipping heel out was more pronounced. So be careful when buying these. I wish I ordered both sizes when they were available to ensure I had the best fit at the sale price.

Pulled these right out of the box, spent two minutes taking in the excellence of Robert Clergerie's workmanship, then put them on my feet and ran out the door. Having spent most of the day on my feet, I am in awe that I could get so tall in two seconds and be so comfortable. They are a bit clunky, but in the cute/chic way. I have serious issues with heels and shoes with any height; these are amazing, as is Zappos in all aspects.

I ordered my shoes and received them the next business day--thank you Zappos. But, I was disappointed by the fact that they seemed to have been tried on because the suede was faded in the heel area (particularly the left side) and a faded mark on the front of both shoes.

If you like a classy look, this is the shoe for you. But this shoe runs very, very narrow. It is nothing like the other Clergerie shoes I already own. Hopefully, this is a fluke and not a trend.

Huge disappointment. Look far frumpier in real life than in the photo and not at all comfortable.

Chick and cool boot, easy to wear, great with any outfit. suede is special soft, something you don't see very often. got is actually over night no extra charge, better the Amazon Prime! Style is wonderful, I love my new boots.

Ordered them yesterday morning, got them today early afternoon. Wow! Faster than Amazing Prime! Boots are great, very soft & comfortable. True beauty, amazingly soft & chic. Suede is extremely soft, nothing like any other brand, well it's made in France.

These are comfortable, practical and stylish. People stop me to ask where I got these shoes. They are perfect for everyday.

I have these in cafe (brown)... and now want them in black...if you like a nice 'hug the leg' shapely look and a boot that looks like it is just part of you. I feel exquisite and catlike in these!

Really neat shoe - love the style; however, I expected much more from this designer - especially for the price. I was so disappointed with the fit (I take a 8.5 and it was too small) and quality so will be returning.

Gorgeous looking boots, suitable for a nice skirt or dress, and very comfortable. Look so much more elegant than suede boots from other manufacturers. I have narrow calves and the stretch makes them fit perfectly. I bought them in brown and am waiting for the black to become available in my size. Worth every penny.

Clergerie Sizing quite large - I am size 5.5 in Clergerie and 6.5 or 7 in normal fractional fitting. Otherwise known as size 36.5 or 37 which is not overly small but most Clergerie shoes advertised start at size 6 which would be the equivalent to about a size 38 in fractional fitting - Aus or USA.

I got these shoes because I needed something I could wear while being on my feet all day. The heels are made of thick rubber, so it feels like you're walking on a gummy bear, if that makes sense. I do agree with the other reviewer, these do run quite narrow (my feet are really wide though) and I do feel some pressure on the sides of my feet after walking around all day. I might take them to a cobbler to have them stretched, which they will since they're suede. When I first pulled them out of the box, I thought the shoes looked too large but that's just the style. The toebox hangs about 1.5 inches past my toes but the shoe itself fits great and I don't notice it at all when I'm walking. I love the style, they remind me of Jil Sander oxfords and look great with skinny, cuffed pants or tights and dresses.

These shoes are great looking and superior quality. They are very comfortable. I purchased a half size smaller than my usual size and they fit perfect. I went by the previous review and purchased 1 full size smaller than my usual size. They were too small. I exchanged them and got a 1/2 size smaller than my usual size. I usually wear a size 9 and the 8 1/2 fit perfect. Zappos has excellent customer service and I exchanged for a new size within a matter of a few days. I plan to wear these with casual pants to work. They are a good classic shoe that will last for many years.
