Right foot was fine. Left foot had problems mentioned below. It felt like my toes were cramped up into a very tiny space, very painful. Even though it said that both feet were supposedly the same size shoe, I felt that it is entirely possible that they definitely weren't. Other than that, the style was amazingly flattering.

Beautiful, classic, and comfortable boot. Runs a size small. I am a true size 8, and had to order a 9! Would highly recommend.

These shoes are fabulous. The most stylish shoes I have found this season, and the color is luscious. Really only a 3" heel, not difficult to walk in, although requires some balance! I always wear a 1/2 size down in his shoes, although I have narrow feet. Extremely comfortable, impeccable quality. Worth every penny. Zappos customer service is the best in the industry.

These boots are great and stylish. They run true to size. They look great with jeans. Like that the wedge is different from the other boots you see and it is not a high wedge. Will buy more from this designer.

This is a beautiful boot! I was not sure if it would be comfortable, but it is quite comfy and looks very cool. Looks great with dresses or jeans, I definitely recommend it

I love the color of this sandal so I tried to make it work for me. Unfortunately, it still hurts my toes and bruises my foot. I have many sandals and shoes from this brand. I would not recommend this particular style.

I love the style of this boot it is very now, funky, and un-dressy. It is definitely not a ladylike boot. As most Clergerie stretch suede boots are, this one is comfortable, especially for such a high heel. Now the problem is that it is too trendy to spend so much money on something that will become dated. I was also surprised that it makes the wearer actually look a heavy rather than graceful.

Great sandal. Tried it on at NM; was heavily discounted! Runs 1/2 small for regular width feet. True to size for very narrow feet. Modified, cut-out platform sole allows the foot to flex, while reducing the overall weight of the shoe. Leather is incredibly butter-soft, just like top quality lambskin gloves. Also came in black nappa leather. This is a no-brainer sandal for any occasion.

Don't be deterred by this boot's name, Lizard. This boot is a Jewel. It's got everything going for it: style, comfort, elegance. (a) Coordinates with casual outfits because of the modest heel height, 2-3/8", and soft matte suede. (b) Coordinates with dressier outfits such as skirts/dresses because of the elegant pointed toe and architecturally angled heel. (c) Butter-soft stretch suede shaft and excellent foot bed that provides support for the foot. Easy on/off. Modest 2-3/8" heel renders this wearable all day; not just for a few painful hours! (d) Elegant construction with slimming center seam and minimal patchwork (cut-up pieces of material). The leather sole is comfortable and allows the foot to flex and breathe. It would be even better if a thin gripping rubber tread were sewn over the leather sole. Clergerie should place this design in their permanent collection to repeat yearly, in different colors. It's a modern classic. Re: sizing. This is true to size (length) and is a generous B (medium) width. For very narrow feet, order your size but wear thick socks.

I normally take a size 8 in Clergerie. The 8 was not available so I took a chance and ordered the 8 1/2. The 8 1/2 fits like an 8. This shoe has a very shallow toe box and runs small. It is a great shoe.

The most humiliating and humbling moment of RC's career. I have spent thousands of dollars on RC shoes since his line was first introduced in the U.S. However, the appearance or "style" of the "Valere" fill me with terror that I was ever such a devoted consumer. These shoes look like something an orthopedist prescribed after a bunionectomy. I would never expect to see this shoe on an un-gnarled, less than 80-years-old foot. They may even be "vegan-friendly." The "Milk" shoe in the above column is also approaching this level of eyesore. S'il vous plait, Monsieur Clergerie, do not repeat this mistake.

Beautiful hard shoes - I absolutely loved these sky high shoes. They would be comfortable to walk in, if only there was some padding in the foot bed. It's just too hard. I am very surprised because Clergerie shoes are quality made. I've tried padding, but the round footbed fits snugly. Sadly I will have to send these back. Zappos service has always been great, with the shoes arriving on my doorstep the next day. Thank you for great service.

This beatiful pair of sandals are not only smart and chic but comfortable as well. No breaking in is necessary; as the leather is so soft and the height of the heel is a reasonable height. The cantilever heel is stylish and gives "pop" to the sandals. You can really walk around town in them all day with no effort or discomfort. They are light, airy and a joy to wear. You can expect no less from a Robert Clergerie pair of shoes.

This is simply beautiful and outstandingly comfortable. I am on my second pair of the same one. Perfect choice for those who love heels and cannot wear them because of the back problem. I had a back surgery, but still cannot give up my heels despite the obvious reason. I wear these for 8-10 hours a day straight and no problems, as if I am walking in my sneakers. I totally am switching all my shoes to Robert Clergerie shoes. Cannot wait for all the new styles. Thank you.

As expected, Robert Clergerie's shoes are super comfortable, as are these. The leather is so soft there is no breaking-in; it's like walking on air. I like the cantilever architectural heel, it gives the sandal chic and style. The height of the heel is perfect and makes walking distances a breeze. I purchased these sandals two weeks ago and now they are on sale.

The Vanille runs a little narrow.Took the advice of other Clergerie reviewers and ordered a half size up, but that made it too long. To go to back to my regular size, though, would have made the shoe too narrow, because even in the half size up, it was pretty snug in the toes. I'm a B/Medium, and this is my second effort to buy this brand. The first time, the shoe was in my size but too stiff and snug. Would be a great pant shoe for people with long narrow feet.

The sole and the silver leather are BEAUTIFUL. Very well made and so sheik. BUT, they pasted those stupid looking plastic rocks on the top. They don\'t look as plastic in the picture but in person they really look cheap. Very sad that they wrecked this great pair of shoes by going cheap on the embellishment.

The shoes look adorable in person. The sole feels comfortable and the top fits okay near the toes but as you move up towards the back of the top part it gets really wide where it connects to the sole. I am returning them because of the width/fit issue. I am a medium width and have not had this problem with other brands. Very sorry to see them go back to the store because they do look great.

I LOVE these shoes!!! They are great looking and comfortable at the same time. Look great with jeans or dresses and neutral color allows you to wear them with everything. Worth the price. You will get a lot of use out of them.

This is a sharp looking shoe and comfortable. However, the actual color and design is different than what appears online. The black mask is greyish in color and the band around the heel is black patent leather versus the leather that appears in the picture.

Super chic, super comfy - I ordered these and the similar "Rosie" (which has a buckle strap instead of ankle wrap) to compare. Even though the "Rosie" is on sale and cheaper, I'm only keeping the "Romina" because it is so much more comfortable, and it has a slightly less formal look with the ankle wrap. Very comfortable to stand and walk in, and accommodates my wider forefoot. One quibble - the suede on the ankle strap seems a bit cheap for an expensive shoe.

Ankle strap hurts!Lovely shoe, lovely seafoam green color. Very comfortable to stand in, but when I walked in them, the ankle strap pulled viciously at my anklebones. Sad to return them...
