A very good trolley case! So light and pretty which is just right for my short term trips! Besides, Zappos staff are very helpful. Just love this first shopping with Zappos!

American and USAir will no longer allow this size bag through TSA security including TSA Pre Check. They claim it is a FAA regulation. FAA allows 22/14/9. this bag measures Width: 15 7?10 in; Depth: 7 9?10 in; Height: 21 7?10 in. Be aware while this bag is the best in my opinion as a multi million miler for 23 years, it is now a problem. Can anyone authoritatively address this issue?

Very good item! Wish the wheels were a bit bigger, but they definitely work the way they're supposed to. Very good for short travels, flight or land.

This is a gorgeous bag but beware that it is really shiny! I also think it is listed incorrectly as the same dimensions as some of the other Rimova bags (not sure which is incorrect, but they're definitely not all the same size). In person, this is big. I returned. As a frequent flyer on United (nation and international), I highly doubt you would be allowed to take this on board. At the least, it would be a gamble each time. I exchanged for the Salsa 22 Cabin Multiwheel and am very happy with it.

This luggage is AMAZING. It is highly durable and unbelievably light weight. My brother recommended the brand to me and I couldn't be happier. It looks so cool and sleek too. You get what you pay for.

Hands down the best quality luggage I have ever owned. Much better than Tumi, which are all made in china. The other reviewer doesn't know what he is talking about. Airlines do not weigh your carry-on items, its all based on the dimensions. This piece conforms to the guidelines perfectly and can be taken on any flight. I live the stealth more than the silver because its more understated. Don't buy the silver model unless you can't afford the stealth. This is a lifetime investment that you love. I have the full set and it's incredible, designed and made in Germany.

I am writing this review after one international trip with this luggage. I am happy with it, but others may not be. In general, I like the look and features of the suitcase, and my expectations have been met by its performance. I thought that I would be able to use this as a 'carry-on' on international flights, based on its size (and IATA in the name). However, most international carriers use weight rather than size. This back - fully packed - will almost certainly weigh too much to be taken as a carry-on. If your limit is less than 14kg or so, plan on having to check this suitcase. If you're buying this as an international carry-on, I would suggest buying one of the larger sizes, since you will likely not be carrying this on (internationally) anyway. Another thing to keep in mind is that this suitcase dents very easily. After just one flight I noticed many nicks, scratches and dents. I think its part of the charm of these suitcases, but you may disagree. Also, as this case scratches, you will see silver underneath. This is perhaps an argument for buying the silver version of this case, which is also a bit cheaper.

The manufacturer of this suitcase has not given the airports the correct key to unlock it in the event TSA searches your bag. The first time TSA had to jimmy the lock to open it Zappos (bless them) replaced the suitcase on the assumption that the lock must have been defective. TSA, however, informed me that it was the lack of a proper key that resulted in the damage. Now, TSA has searched the new replacement bag and, once again, had to pry the lock open. My suggestion is buy another brand.

I purchased this suitcase for my business trips. I travel often up and down the west coast and this little carry on is perfect for a four day trip. I was worried that I would not be able to fit too much into this, surprisingly, everything fits (Also with some smart packing!). It is light, it turns like you will not believe it. I used to travel with one of those carry on suit case I got from Costco, but it is just too bulky and heavy. Lifting this little light suitcase up and down the cabin is very easy. I got the ultra violet, it is such an awesome color! The price is high but it is well worth the money. It is highly recommended!

This is only a great carry-on item. It is not strong enough to check in. Mine came out of its fourth trip in the hold minus one of its wheels and is now a total loss. Do not expect this to be both a carry-on and a check-in suitcase.

Bought a set of 4 pieces in both the matte black and the red for my dearly beloved for Christmas. That's 8 pieces: The 29", 26", carry on and the beauty case. She travels a lot and her best friend has some. Overall it's really good stuff but some things bother me. Zippers don't seem to be as substantial as I would have thought. The cases seem almost flimsy (although I recognize that they are light by design), making them hard to close. If you've seen her pack, you'd know what I mean :-). The wheels spin very freely but are, in my opinion, no better overall than that on my 15 year-old American Tourister (bought for $200 at a mall). The handles sort of "wallow" in their opening with far more flex than I would consider to be a durable design. Seems to me that they could have a crisp, precise feel but they don't. Last item: The beauty case could have been designed so that it becomes a companion piece to the other luggage, but isn't. You apparently have to carry it (and yes, I know that there is a retractable strap on the luggage). Still, she loves it and that's the main thing, and so I'm happy. So why the 4 stars instead of 5? Well, for the cost I really do expect a flawless set of luggage. By the way, the Zappos service was amazing. I ordered the 2nd set (because the friend wasn't sure which color) on the Sunday before Christmas and got it LESS than 48 hours later. Kudos!

This is the perfect size for 5 days of winter clothes or 7 days of summer clothes. Fits a lot and still small enough to be a carry-on. Very lightweight and easy to move with the 4 wheels.

With three children under 10, this suitcase is a lifesaver. My 6 year old is able to push it and maneuver it seamlessly throughout the airport. It is also the perfect size. I debated going with the larger size and am so happy I did not. Fully packed for a two week trip this suitcase weighed in at 49lbs. The larger size would have definitely been overweight. Absolutely worth the investment!

I wish I had gotten a different suitcase. This suitcase is stylish and it rolls like a dream. I agonized over whether the few extra lbs as compared with the polycarbonate suitcases would make a difference...I have decided the problem isn't that but everything you pack in it is really the problem. My first trip the suitcase did incur scuffs and a few dents...I think the baggage handlers must make it a point to mess it up a little. I don't really mind the scuffs and dents. But the TSA had opened the suitcase and the contents inside got jumbled and they were hanging out of the suitcase...I don't know how they ever got the suitcase closed with stuff coming out the closure! The real problem with this suitcase is the clamshell design. You can't open this suitcase on a luggage rack (a critical problem); you have to have an extra bed to lay it out. Also the flap boards with the Velcro tighteners I find very difficult to work with when you go to shut the case everything on the top shifts and starts coming out the edges; the only thing good about them is the pockets in them. When I purchased this case, one reason I bought it was that it sealed shut...no zipper to close it...because zippers are easily opened with a ballpoint pen. Well, I am back to wanting a zipper closure again. It gives a little flexibility in closing the suitcase. I took this bag on a trip to India and Nepal...and had to pack up every day or every other day. It was a nightmare trying to get the suitcase closed. Because of the clamshell design, the Velcro flap boards, and seal shut design you just can't get as much into this suitcase. I am going to have to consider the Brigs and Riley torq because they did an 80/20 split; also the tumi tetra tech may be easier to use.

This suitcase has made travel immeasurably more pleasant for me: it negotiated escalators, subways, ramps and a hotel uphill without pain. Plus this size held 2 weeks worth of clothing for changeable weather with room to spare!

I bought my first Rimowa Salsa Deluxe 32" three years ago. It is easy to maneuver through an airport, light, and deceptively roomy. The first one cracked on the corner about the fourth time out. The airline replaced it. Then the lock malfunctioned several times, losing the combination and jamming. This was fixed by Rimowa three different times. Another crack appeared in the wheel area, and Rimowa replaced the bag. Now, the lock has malfunctioned again. Bottom line, Rimowa has excellent customer service - but I am quite tired of the necessity to use it so often. I travel extensively and do not wish to worry about my bag. Previously I traveled with Tumi, and will likely return to that brand, keeping this rather expensive Rimowa as a backup.

Do not buy this bag! I was deciding between this suitcase and a Samsonite I saw on sale, and went for this one thinking because of the name it must be great. How wrong I was! I've had this bag for less than 5 months and out of 4 zippers, 3 have broke! What a horrible situation to be in a foreign country having to search for a way to repair your zippers because you can't travel anywhere with a broken bag! I also told this to a friend, and she said the same zipper problem happened with her mother's Rimowa suitcase! Just save yourself the hassle and a lot of money and go for something else!

I love my rimowa bag. It's very light and very strong and very roomy. The handle is great, the wheels make it problem free to maneuver through airports and into and out of cabs. this isn't your back packers special but it is the top of the line in luxury luggage. Bon voyage.

Love this sleek, lightweight bag! The spinner wheels are sturdy and the handle is tall enough for me to glide through airports, hotel lobbies, parking lots, etc.
