I bought these boots last year and I love them. They are very comfortable, easy on/off and I have had a lot of compliments. I wish they came in other colors.

I bought these boots for my girlfriend for Christmas. She had been looking for comfortable boots similar to proper style western boots, but with a more multi-functional look. These boots are her favorite now. I like how they look on her and we are very happy with the quality and overall value. They are awesome boots!

I love these boots! I bought them in black and had to get the brown, too! I teach and am on my feet all day, and these babies keep me so comfy, and I have ridiculously sensitive feet!

I have these boots in camel which I purchased two years ago. I saw that they were on sale and I decided to buy them in black sometime in December. They are soft and very comfortable, a great investment. Your feet will thank you every time you wear them.

These were the ones. After 7 pairs, these fit so great! I have bad feet and legs, neuropathy with muscle wasting below the calf and compensatingly large muscles in my calves. Also, I am 4'10" so the space between heel & where the calf starts to widen is very short so most boots I can't begin to zip up. These fit great, do not slip up from my narrow heels, have actual support! Also, the insole is removable for use with orthotics. Should I need ankle AFOs before they wear out, the looseness around the ankle/calf will allow for those as well. I love the kick of red in the back as my dressed up look is kinda punky/funky. As other reviews said, they run a bit wide so the medium is great but as I can wear a size 4 girls often times going with a slightly larger size might be advised. I ordered the 5.5-6 size and usually a 6 is huge for me but - your mileage may vary. Perfect!

These shoes are magical. They're supportive and comfortable at the same time. They cradle the heel and back of the arch while also leaving a good amount of room for the ball of the foot and toes. There's also a nice amount of padding on the sole. I walked 2 miles in them the first day I wore them and kept thinking how comfortable they were. They also look better in person than they do in the picture.

Okay, so I ordered a 8.5 M and the calf circumference is not 14" as marked but 16". These boots are so comfortable but my narrow calves swim in them. Sadly, they are going back.

These are wonderful boots. They have a unique style, quality leather, have a soft but not sweat-inducing interior, low sturdy heel. They are stylish and funky, but not trendy. You will definitely be able to rock these for many years if you take good care of them. When I went to get taps on the heels and have them polished before wearing them, the cobbler commented on the great quality. I am normally a size 7½ in standard shoes, 8 in boots, and ordered a size 38. It fits well and I have room to add an insole and wear medium thickness socks. The only things that are a bit less than perfect about these is that they could use more support, and that I have skinny calves (maybe 13"), and so these are roomier around the calves than I would have liked. I tried them on over skinny pants and I cannot decide if they will work or if they give me the dreaded galoshes look. But even if I am restricted to wearing them with standard pants and long skirts, I still love them. I got the black on sale, and I am considering getting the brown. I highly recommend these boots, especially for those who want to look funky and stylish, but avoid the back and foot pain that can come with wearing high boots for any extended period of time.

I have foot problems so out of all the great looking boots I found on Zappos, I chose these because Rieker is known for their good quality and sensible European comfort. Thus, expecting superior comfort, I was slightly disappointed in the footbed when I put these on. I tried to put my orthotic in but there was not enough room. I replaced their shock-absorbing insole with another one for slightly improved cush. That said, I still do love these boots. They are very cute and I have gotten many compliments on them. I have narrow feet and scrawny calves and these were perfect. Wide feet and large calves would not do well in these. I do wish the shaft came up a bit higher. It stops at the widest part of the calf instead of above it. I love the look of the leather and the way they make my size 8½-9 feet look small. I found the size 40 to be a perfect fit (unless I wanted more room for my orthotics). I do have a hard time finding shoes for my feet so this review is probably a bit harsher than the average person would rate them. All in all, I love them and am keeping them because they are way better than anything that I tried on at the stores and I thought the price was good compared to other options.

This is a beautiful shoe to wear with slacks but the toe box was way too narrow. I had to return them.

I was looking for a stylish, brown, leather boot that could withstand the slush of city living and definitely found what I was looking for! The shoe was true to size and is very warm. Be forewarned, the shaft is rather narrow, but is great for my smallish calves. The boot has lived up to it's waterproof description. I have stepped in multiple puddles and my foot has remained dry. Definitely worth the money!

This boot is stylish and would work well with leggings or a skirt. The negative is the extremely thin sole.

I wanted to love this boot, from red zipper, to buckles, to snazzy visual textures, to buttery-soft uppers. Overall, they were comfortable and seemed like a nice fit! Sadly, the first seam past the toe box rubbed my pinky toe through my cushioned socks. A few minutes of walking around my bedroom, and my toe was rubbed raw and nearly a blister. If my toe hadn't lined up directly with the seam, they would have been comfortable. Or maybe if the heel was a better match to my slightly narrow heel, it wouldn't have rubbed as much. Oh well. Time to try another pair! Thanks again to Zappos for their great service!

I loved these boots - they're gorgeous and comfortable, but they were too big. I held them up against my other pair of Rieker boots and they're half an inch longer! Must be the R&D collection. I'd buy a size down but they don't have them.

I absolutely love these boots! They are very comfortable, although I wish I would have ordered them in a size 6. They are just a tad too big but on the days I have to wear heavy socks they fit perfectly fine. Sometimes I wear a size 6 and other times a size 6½ so it is hard to know what to order. Overall, these boots are great! They are stylish but also practical. I love them!

Super cute and comfortable! They look much better in person than pictures. When I ordered them, I was worried about stain-like dark tint at toe and heel. My worry was gone! It is actually much more subtle and delicate. The boots never look dirty. The color is brownish gray. While they looked purplish gray on my PC screen, they actually aren't purplish at all. The boots look great with skinny jeans, black/brown/gray slim pants and even skirts. This Remonte Dorndorf line from Rieker has a tendency to make shoes bigger than the size, but this one is true to size. I am usually 6.5W/7.0W and either 37 or 38 with Rieker/Remonte Dorndorf. This pair with 38 is perfect fit for me with thin socks. The toe box gives you nice room for comfort. Anti-Stress structure makes your feet and back happy. And they are sylish! I have a lot of pairs from Rieker including Sheila boots that are highly rated by many people. I somehow find this Annemarie 72 more comfortable than Sheila due to more cushion at footbed. I know I don't have to mention but I want to say that you can never go wrong ordering with Zappos. Customer Service of Zappos would never disappoint you.

These are extremely light weight with soft leather. When I received them, I was afraid they were a bit narrow for my wide feet, however, they nicely stretched within a couple of wears. I am 6½W/7.0W but wide from other brands gives me a problem of loose heel most of time. Size 38 of this pair gives me enough room at the toe box even with thick socks and a snug fit at the heel. These do not look like most expensive dress shoes, but the amazing comfort is there. You would forget you are wearing 2" heels. I know some people complain that Rieker does not provide enough arch support. Out of my several Rieker pairs, this one seems to have a little bit more support. If you have wider forefront and narrower heel, this pair is for you. As everybody knows, Zappos' customer service is super. I decided to buy shoes only from Zappos.

My quest was for a basic black everyday boot, comfortable and unassuming, that I could wear with both 'skinny' pants as well as regular/boot-cut jeans, and maybe even tights/tunics. Yay me! These boots totally fulfilled my quest! I really love 'em - they've got a kind of an adult edginess to them. I have a very small frame and cannot pull off the Doc Martens/combat boot look at all - so these are perfect for me! I wore them the entire first day I got them and did not want to take them off! Highly recommend!

I purchased these for my sister for Christmas and she loves them. She is on her feet all day at work and she raves about the comfort of these shoes.

These are the most comfortable boots ever! Great styling & comfort can't be beat; if they came in black, I'd have another pair. I can wear them all day & evening, and then go to bed & have no leg cramps. Unheard of until these boots. They simply are the best. As others had advised, I ordered up a half size, and with heavy socks & my orthotics, they're perfect.
