Overall:

I had bought Rieker boots in a store and had found them comfortable, so bought these boots online. They were not very comfortable, but more importantly the leather quality of these boots is terrible. It is really thin and stains easily. The boots look ugly after very short usage. In the meantime the boots I bought in a store have also deteriorated significantly and have cracks after less than one season. In summary, I will never buy Rieker products again because they are made to look good for one week, but after that you can throw them away.

Overall:

I wear these boots with pants, skirts and dresses, but they are definitely casual. I have very high arches and I find these boots to be extremely comfortable, I just wore them every single day on a recent trip to Spain, where I walked all day long. I have the two-tone bronze/black version and could not be happier. Buy them.

Runs a bit large, but so comfortable. I have several pairs of Rieker and appreciate the fine leather and the great walkability of these shoes.

Have just discovered Rieker! Great brand, some are cut really long however. This one I tried and with my high instep it was really hard to get on. Is very long, and kind of turns up on the toe (probably due to fact it is too long). I don't think the next size down (40) would work, as I can barely get the 41 on, but it is really cool. If you didn't have high instep, you would have no problem with 1/2 to 1 size smaller.

Love this boot. I thought it was great when I first tried it, but then realized it was about 2 inches too long. I tried next size down (9) and it was too tight on toes. I need a 9, wide I guess. Didn't come in that; very disappointing as it is a beautiful, soft boot. Caramel is a great color as well

Great everyday shoe - The shoe is very comfortable and stylish. The only thing I've noticed is that it does leave black heel marks on floors.

The best shoe I've ever owned - This is the best shoe I've ever owned. I have a very long but narrow foot, and it's been difficult for me to find a nice shoe that fits comfortably and looks nice. It's also been quite difficult to find a shoe that actually makes my foot look nice. As soon as I put these on, I couldn't believe how comfortable they were, and how delicate they made my feet look. I own one pair in brown, and will purchase another if I should wear these ones out. I also get compliments on them wherever I go. I wear a size 10 American, and a size 40 European, and when I saw the shoe, I thought, "Surely they don't carry my size for such a delicate looking shoe." But sure enough, he brought one out and it fit perfectly. The perfect combination of comfort and style. And one of my favorite parts of this shoe is that it has a soft heel, which keeps me from clickety clacking down the street and attracting attention to myself.

These boots are very comfortable, and have a great style. I wish I could keep them, but they are just too cheaply made. The back panel is made from a thin, flimsy synthetic material, which is slouchy. If that back panel were made of higher quality material, I would keep them, but it\'s too much money to pay for a boot that looks so cheap.

Another day in foot paradise. As expected, this boot is killer comfy. Looks great, I got the black. The inside is lined with something very soft. I love Rieker! If I were younger and slimmer, I would wear these with opaque black tights and a narrow just-above the-knee black skirt. Sharp!

These shoes are cute. They are also comfortable. I have a wide foot and Rieker does not come in wide sizes, but they still feel good. I highly recommend them.

Best shoes ever! I have been wearing Rieker's for about 6 years now. I recently tried casual flats from Clark and Ryka, but, don't know why. Had to send both back. My new Celia 51's arrived yesterday and they are really a great fit with great support. All I can want in a walking shoe. Zappos' customer support provided outstanding help in making this exchange happen quickly. I am a customer for life of both Rieker and Zappos.

Wonderful boots! I am so happy I bought these. Trust the reviews, they do fit a half to a whole size large. I wear a true 6 and bought the size 36 (5/6) boot. I still have to wear one to 2 pairs of socks with them. No big deal though. They are amazingly comfortable, the most comfortable boot I own and I own quite a few. The leather is very well made and looks as such. They make excellent winter wear boots. I am short (5'1") so I liked the heel shaft being lower than most (12"). I would suggest those who are short like me can go all the way to a 14" heel shaft without the top overlapping the knee. Overall, a wonderful purchase.

Beware! This boot looks great. Unfortunately, they are defective. I am on my second pair and each pair has had a defect in the Achilles tendon. There is no way to overlook it since it is nearly impossible to walk with it scrapping and digging into you...

When you can put on a new pair of shoes and they feel like slippers, well, that is a wonderful thing. I love these shoes. The fit is amazing and construction exactly what I would expect from Rieker.

Just received my first pair and immediately ordered a second in another color as they were incredibly comfortable right out of the box. Wore them all day the next day walking around New York City and as another reviewer said they felt like slippers. I usually pay a lot more, but these are amazing and look great, too! It's a buy!

I love these shoes. My friend and I went to San Francisco and found them, put them on and wore them for the rest of our trip. Our husbands were happy because we could walk forever in them with great comfort. Now I am ordering a pair for my daughter, who thought mine were just wonderful. I have had them for six months now and wear them almost every day. They are so comfortable that I hate to put on any of my other shoes. \\r\\n\\r\\n

The brown Riekers are really lovely and great for walking! I wanted a stylish pair of brown riding boots that I could walk all over the city with and these are perfect. They are lined for extra warmth and they fit perfectly over skinny jeans. My boyfriend is very selective with fashion and he immediately loved them. The brown color is especially pretty and they catch your eye. Zappos gave great customer service, I highly recommend them and think they are a great price as I shopped in stores and saw boots up to $300 and I am happier with these.

I love these shoes! This is my second pair. I wore out my first pair. I wore these shoes while staying in Rome and walked every day. Not once were my feet tired. I even walked about 10 kilometers one day and my feet felt great! I ordered them in brown, too.

Great boots, made it through a tough Chicago winter with no leaks and looking like new. Just clean any salt off right away with white vinegar.

A comfortable shoe right from the start. Did not have to break them in. Would recommend this shoe. Does run big. I wear a 9, but ordered an 8. They fit perfect.

Wonderful boot! The warmest boot I've had on my feet in a long time. True to size, I am a size 8 and these fit my slightly wide foot just fine. Stylish, practical under jeans, comfortable for walking and trudging around outdoors. I have the espresso brown and also looked at the black, which my husband thought was very "sharp" looking.

I bought this shoe in black because all the reviews were good. My taste must differ from the reviewers. I think this is an ugly shoe. Fits okay, a little flat in the arch department, but I could have slipped in extra support. But it is ugly off, uglier on.
