Another great sandal from Ricosta! This is a super sturdy sandal and can withstand a full year of daily wear (I live in a tropical country) and still look reasonably good at the end of it. I've been buying Ricosta sandals/shoes for my boys (age 5 and 7) for the past 3 years and I swear by them. They are pricey, but the quality makes them worth every penny. I was however, disappointed to see that this particular model runs a full (European) size smaller than marked. I didn't realize this until I had traveled elsewhere and could no longer return the shoe. I still believe that you can't go wrong with Ricosta. And Zappos is the best. I always get my shoes shipped within 24 hours and nobody else has such a wide selection. Thank you Zappos!

Ricosta makes great shoes - After failing to get another pair of the Ricosta "Tami" booties, we settled for this pair in the red. We LOVED the Tami's. Thought these were pretty much the same thing, but my daughter has never liked them. Too bad as these are very expensive shoes. I think they are very cute, though I'd prefer leather over the shiny "patent" look. Ricosta shoes wear like iron, are very supportive, and these booties help keep out the snow and puddles in poor weather.

The shoe fits well and is easily adjustable with the velcro straps to fit different sock thicknesses. Even though they have lots of materials in the actual shoe, they feel lighter in weight than others.

Great arch support with comfort. They are versatile, stylish, and well made. If you appreciate quality clogs, you’ll love them like me.

Looks Warm - These faux fur lined boots look nice and toasty for my 16 month olds feet. He is newly walking and seems to be doing OK with these. I do however like the softer shoes of stride rite.

Order smaller size if going by US sizes! These run a LOT bigger than listed. I ordered a size 4 for my daughter. (I wear a size 6US and they fit me with wiggle room for my toe... although a bit snug on the width.) I guess it’s close to a boy’s shoe size 4US.

Heel is 2-3/4 inches, not 2-1/4 inches - I measured it because it seemed higher than stated (and it is). I ordered and returned these. I ordered a size larger because they didn't have my size. Even so, they were a bit narrow across the instep. Calf fit my wider-than-normal calves. The boots are cute because the ankles are quite narrow so they give your leg a feminine look. The cowboy heel makes these boots jeans/casual only - not versatile enough for my wardrobe, so back they went. I sort of miss them, and am sure they found a good home.

Perfect playground shoes, great for snow!My toddler loves these shoes, they keep him dry in the snow and wet ground, but don't slow him down like rain or snow boots!

Great shoes - These shoes are very nice. They are very cute, have good, flexible soles, and the burgundy color goes with everything she has. She also gets compliments all the time. My only complaint is the patent look. I would prefer the natural look.

I'm a convert! This was an amazing shoe. It was a Christmas gift December 2007 and it's now August 2008 and we're still wearing it. The comfort, quality, durability, looks, compliments on this shoe have been outstanding! My 2 year old daughter loved them. We've outgrown our 23 now and if they were offered in a 24, I'd buy another pair. First class #1 quality! Expensive...and I thought I'd never pay this money for a shoe but I'd be happy to buy one now (first was a gift).

Ricosta shoes are great - they look good, come in wide widths and offer foot support that I haven't found anywhere else for children in the USA. They are also water resistant or waterproof and so are very practical for active boys.

I bought these as my daughter's first walking shoes. They are made from the softest leather and the soles are very flexible. I love them. The multi color also matches everything. The picture does not do it justice once you see them in person you will love them.

Ricosta Pinca White Multi - The shoe looks cute, although the white one looks better in the picture. The flower applications are very orange bright. If you use them with orthotics, you need to remove the insole. They are a bit bulky and "ruggedy".

Batty for these boots Matey! We have the bat boots and the pirate boots- both are very special and my son LOVES them. I mean how often do you find bats on kid's shoes without it being some marketing ploy/superhero? We're big Ricosta fans- my son has long wide feet. The fit is great. At first I was iffy on the style- the leather has this weird worn, brushed-like quality to it. I was worried about how it would wear (get dirty fast? etc) but they are standing up to the task and are great shoes.

Wider than stated - fantastic!I bought these for my daughter (pink and purple colourway though... maybe old stock?). She measures a Clarks size 7H and their size 25 fit her perfectly. The assistant said this make comes up wide which appears to be true... no complaints from me though, they're fab!

Cute, but not so durable...This shoe looks really cute on and goes with just about everything my son owns. The sole is very flexible which is great since my son has only been walking for a few months. The only problem I have is that cap toe part of the shoe seems to be peeling back on the top of the shoe. Most likely from my son crawling around pushing his truck outside. And for this kind of money I would like for that not to happen.

Not what you would expect from Ricosta - We have been Ricosta fans for the last 3 years but this shoe unlike all we have owned. It is rigid, with huge bumps on the sole inside, not comfortable at all.

Great winter shoes for an active toddler. My son wore these all season and I never worried about his feet getting cold and wet. They are expensive but definitely worth it. They've held up well and still look good.

Finally!I'm so glad I finally found the perfect boots for my 19-month-old. We tried all the store brands, but everything was so tall and so heavy... he couldn't move his feet! These boots are really cute and I love that they are short. Not to mention the fact that my son has a wide foot... and these are the only wide boots I've found.Yes, they're expensive... but in my opinion they're worth every penny!
