The glitter on these shows is very scratchy. My kid came home with scratches all over her legs from the shoes rubbing against her legs when she sat crisscrossed. Also, the strap is quite long, and drags on the ground when the shoes are fastened snugly

My 5 year old loves them. I have not experienced much "sparkle rub-off" compared to many other glitter shoes we have bought in the past. Fit seems to be great.
