These shoes are Chinese built, and the quality shows. After just 1.5 months the stitching on the tongue is coming out, and I just pulled one of the outer sheath off one of the laces. While these shoes are comfortable, and actually fit my clown feet, the quality is poor. I get significantly better value from Red Wing shoes, just finding a good fit there is challenging.

Comfortable and roomy -- I had to get a R size 14 to augment my L size 13 in order to accommodate an orthotic. Works well.

I was looking for a boot with removable insoles to wear with my orthotics; however, despite description saying this boot had a removable insole, the pair I received had insoles glued in. They seemed to fit true to size but I didn't spend much time analyzing the fit since I couldn't wear my orthotics with them.

I have a high arch/instep, very narrow heels, average width forefoot/toes, and skinny calves. I was looking for boots with removable insoles so I could wear my orthotics with them. I wear a size 7.5-8 in most brands. This boot in an 8M fit perfectly in the foot with my orthotics, was nice and fitted in the ankle, but huge in the calf, even with skinny jeans tucked in! I was very hopeful this boot would fit since it looked nice and slim on the model in the video, but sadly I had to return it.

I bought my last pair of shoes from Zappos and felt that they were/are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. When I wanted another pair, of course I came back to Zappos, but the shoe I wanted was gone. No sweat, I just picked out another 4E shoe. This pair is exactly what I didn't want - way too narrow in the toes, squeezing my feet. I am very busy and didn't find the time to sewnd them back. I wore them twice and they were as uncomfortable as if I had bought them from Walmart. I would NOT recommend the Propet brand. The toe cut is way too narrow for what was supposed to be an extra wide shoe. Stick with the Skechers.

Purchased these boots to have by the back door to slip on in the winter. These are cute and could tell would be warm but the toe area was a little uncomfortable squishing them from the top. Length was fine.

They weren't my favorite while shopping for boots, but I have to say I am very happy with these boots! I recently experienced a problem with one of my feet and now have to wear orthotics. I love shoes and am very disappointed that I can no longer choose a shoe just because I like the looks. I have to wear a shoe that my orthotic fits into and then I have to get my foot into the shoe also! There are few boots that I could remove the insole to put my orthotics in. I wore these boots today for the first time and they were great. It was pouring rain and my feet stayed dry and I could walk on wet surfaces without a slip. I recommend these boots for orthotics. I normally wear an 8 1/2 wide, and I ordered a 9 wide which was perfect with a light sock. Very comfortable and looked good with leggings. Thanks Zappos!

While being very comfy and super light-weight, the sole is not wide enough at all. The strap was long enough tho which is better than similarly styled maryjanes for those like me with high instep. However, my feet in the uppers stretched out over the sole so had to send back. And with my orthotics the heel nearly popped out as I walked. If orthotics were not needed and your feet aren't wide, they'd be great.

These are excellent shoes for diabetics with neuropathy! I have suffered for so many years with electric shocks, needles, fire ant pain every night and then came these shoes. I still suffer on occasion when my blood sugar is too high, or I walk too much; however, since wearing these shoes it's been a lot less and I will continue to buy these and wear them for work, play, dinner out etc. Thank you Propet!

I find that there are too many brands and styles of footware today that do not come in wide enough sizes. being able to get this shoe in a 5e width is super. this was my fourth consecutive order of the same shoe. the only drawback i have found is that they seem to wear out in the soles before the rest of the shoe is ready to retire.

Too soon to make a complete review because I have just taken them out of the box and tried them on. I am a little unsure of the "waterproof" claim of these boots. It said waterproof on the Zappos's website which is what I am looking for. However, when I opened the box, there was no paperwork attached to the boots which make a waterproof claim. This is something I would think Propet would be screaming out loud about!! Please confirm that these are in fact waterproof. There is one tag attached that says Scotchguarded which is great but that doesn't mean waterproof. I would appreciate a prompt response. Thank you so much.

This is my basic, everyday shoe when I don't need to be super dressy. I've worn them with jeans, khakis, and casual slacks, but a coat and tie is pushing it. I use an orthotic insert, which helps with the arch support, so I cannot speak to that aspect of my Propets. Ultimately, I keep reaching for them because they're comfortable. I've had two back surgeries and the low heel on these shoes is a help. In fact, I like them so much that I'm waiting for Zappos to get my size so I can replace my current pair that I've abused. (I was working at my house and ended up kneeling on concrete. The toes are now so scuffed that I don't believe my shoesmith will be able to restore the nice matte finish.) I've had them for about eight years and, until recently, they've held their stitching and their look with an occasional polishing. The soles are modestly worn, but have years left on them, unlike my fancy shoes. For a hundred bucks, these are a total bargain.

The shoe looks and feels great. I wear 5E width, it's difficult to find, so shoe shopping can be a nightmare. To be fair, I only wore these once, because I purchased these for interviews or other special events.

These have to be the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. After returning two pair of boots (Zappos is extremely amazingly awesome about returns) I finally settled with these. It has a padded lining throughout the entire shoe so your whole foot is comfy. The look more than what they cost and they are perfect for anyone who needs a wide width/calf. I get compliments constantly on these shoes. So happy about my purchase.

I am very happy with my shoes. They fit well and are extremely comfortable. I wear 9 1/2n and have a hard time finding a good fit. They are not pretty but, at my age, comfort is king!

This is a cute shoe but runs much smaller than most Propets. It is both shorted and much narrower. Most of the 4E Propets are VERY wide, this was tight. I was hoping to try a larger size but they are not in stock now.

I have worn this type of Prophet shoes for years. They are the most comfortable casual shoes I have found. I probably have 5 pairs now.

The shoe is great but ran half a size small and not wide enough to accommodate my bunion. The rubber is too hard for me to give it time to shape around my big toe so I am returning it for something else.

It is not narrow enough for a double AA size; very loose in my ankle and kept slipping as I walked. Disappointing because it is a cute boot.

These shoes looked really cute in the photos but I think they are the most ridiculous shoes I've ever received. First off, the mushroom color is definitely brown. That's not the issue with them though. The insoles are the hardest things I've ever felt. There is absolutely zero padding besides the faux fur. I actually looked to make sure I didn't have packing cardboard or something in there still. Secondly there is no edge on the heel to hold your foot in. That is tolerable in some shoes but the faux fur is so damn slippery in these there is no way you could ever keep your foot in them.
