I have large, wide feet and with diabetes, I was so happy to find shoes even wider than my needs. These are sturdy shoes and since they weigh more than my former (bad) shoes, there was a period of adjustment to walking in them, but now I love them and they will help your calves work out every time you walk.

I couldn't believe these were supposed to be a 9 W. Very short and narrow. Typically I can wear some medium width shoes and some wide. I am returning these and will not order another pair. Very uncomfortable,

I ordered for my wife. And ordered too wide. Returned for different size.

Although billed as a 3E width, this brand's concept of wide shoes is actually quite narrow. As a diabetic the extra width is very important.

Bought these for my 92 year old mother. Nice soft suede material. Velcro straps accommodate the fluctuating swelling in her feet. She says they feel comfortable in the extra-wide width.

Have had these shoes for three weeks to wear while walking on the treadmill. Comfortable and provide great support. They do run a little small. Had to return them to get a half size larger. Returning them was free and easy to do.

I usually wear an 8.5 in Propet, but I had to return that size for a 9. The previous reviewer is correct that these are not made for a lot of walking; there's very little cushioning in the sole of the boot. However, I still think they look even better than the picture, I love the cigar velour color, and I think they will be fine for work and going out. I will admit, I might be easier to please here since it's so challenging for me to find a boot that fits my wide forefoot, high instep, and narrow heels. I'm happy to report I have no difficulty getting my foot into this boot, and that they fit quite well. They look nice, too. I'm trying to resist buying another pair in black.

I'm very disappointed in these boots. You used to be able to count on Propet for good arch support and a shoe that was made for walking. These have no discernible arch support and just seem cheap and poorly made. In fact, one of the boots I received is defective: the insole was glued in with large wrinkles making that particular boot unwearable. These are going right back to Zappos.

Love these shoes! I wish I had had them for all the walking I did on a recent trip to Europe and my feet were hurting from some bad shoes. These give great support and my feet feel wonderful. Size is true as well. I had the equivalent NB shoes and the insides shredded in short order. These are much more sturdy and comfortable for an old man.

I was so glad when these became available in all black! I'd had the white-trimmed ones and both are perfect. They're so comfortable, I forget I have shoes on. My foot is very wide, so this is unusual -- and welcome.

I do a lot of gardening, and my footwear takes a dirty beating. My old boots were getting frazzled at the seams and were slowly falling apart. My wife got these Propet boots for me and I love them. It's rare that you can put on a new set of boots and they have the 'already been broken in' feel to them. Hope they hold up to the rigors of the punishment I will give them in the yard/garden.

It's funny I must have ordered and returned several shoes before I could actually keep one of them!? I used this particular shoe for outside. It fit around my bunions perfectly, so there's no problem there except for the lack of arch support that made my feet hurt when wearing them for a long period of time. I was unable to find any 'wide insert insoles' for bunion friendly shoes here on the web site, so I'm thinking it's very rare. New Customers: Before, you decide to purchase any Propet shoes: make sure to read reviews more carefully! Remember not all feet are created equal and the comfort of these shoes might be different on other people's feet. I later found out the hard way! What made it difficult to wear at times is the insoles below my feet. It feels like I'm walking with a granite bar inside my shoes and later on, I couldn't wait to take them off because the calluses were forming on the side of my toes. I'm hoping one of these days, Propet will make an excellent arch support and gel cushion for people with bunions. Also, if you don't know what type of shoes that will accommodate your feet, make sure you do a 'wet feet test' before you purchase anything online. Now, I just have to find a very wide cushion insoles for this particular shoes with no such luck.

These shoes fit perfectly and were very comfortable and slip on and off easily. I used them on a trip to NYC and they were great for walking around and looked good. They are also very lightweight.

Felt good when I put them on. When I wore them outside to walk, they crippled me. Probably not the fault of the shoe, but my foot problems. Now I am stuck with them. I will not rate since it seems irrelevant.

QUALITY shoe in super soft real leather and true non-slip sole. I am kind if a girly girl, so I'm returning only because they appear too man-ish. I know I shouldn't care, but I do.

I have had the slippers for a little over three months. The cushioned footbed has shifted. There is now a huge mound of it with a spot they has none. This has made them unwearable. The left seem only affective a little but the right has a half inch mound.

I bought these shoes for my 90 year old mother. The first pair were a little to small, but no worries, Free shipping for returns too. My mother's feet and ankles are very swollen and the extra wide width was perfect. These are the first shoes that have fit her comfortably in a long time. She loves them and gets lots of compliments from everyone at her assisted living home.

If you have problem feet, these are the shoes for you! Bunions, hammertoes, arthritic feet, you name it, I have it! Bought these in a 9 4E which really fits like Propet's normal 2E and it is terrific. good support, accommodating to orthotics, nice roomy toe box, and the velcro makes getting the pressure just right over my painful instep just great! Thank you Zappos for your shipping policy as it makes trying shoes at home so easy.

The loops are not sewn properly. I was so excited to find this shoe, but already unwearable. Did not even get try both shoes on. No quality control.

Nice fall boot. Pretty gray taupe color. Always hard to find boots other than black in a narrow width. I usually wear an 8 or 8-1/2 Narrow/Slim Started with the 8, but they were too short so got the 8 1/2 which fit fine. They will be perfect with a boot sock. Also like the fact that they are not too wide in the calf area. Overall very pleased.

First time purchase of walking shoe on the internet. Zappos.com made it easy because it showed pictures of the shoe in different positions. I walk several miles daily and the shoe is very comfortable.
