I bought these in gray for a trip back to WA state, where we're building a house. Didn't need them there, but I sure did when we suddenly received a LOT of unexpected snow and ice down here in the South. They're cuter than they look in the picture, and I love the side zip. They also provide great traction; I was able to take the dogs out down icy steps without slipping, and my feet stayed toasty warm. I do agree with the other reviewer about the heel slipping a bit. But it's not enough to be a problem.

This very stylish and hard-working ankle boot is what I've been looking for! Everything is man-made, and the material used is very sturdy. Unfortunately, curve of the shoes is hitting the top arch of my foot. I'm so sad about returning it.

Tried more expensive options; these boots, hands down, were the best fit and overall quality. Better than any of the other water-proof boots/shoes ordered. The proverbial 'frosting' was the look/style; excellent! Love them so much I ordered a second pair in brown. Don't let the laces fool you; there is an inside ankle zipper for quickly slipping on. I love these boots!

I ordered this sporto boot in navy and was very pleased. It looks great, its so comfy, and it keeps your feet so warm. The heel is perfect for walking a lot.

I really like the look of this bootie, and the heel height was great. I'm sorry to say that, for me, the they really just are not comfortable. There is no cushioning at all for the bottom of your foot. I guess they are fine if you don't do too much walking. I, unfortunately, do quite a lot of walking. Sigh...at least I look good in them.

These were cute but super stiff and uncomfortable. You shouldn't have to break shoes/boots in. If they aren't comfortable right out of the box they get returned.

I hated to return these. They were very cute and exactly the style I wear, but after a short while it was obvious that I could not wear these as the rigid insole was very uncomfortable.

Disappointed. I have had several pairs of Sportos over the years and loved them. I have a couple pair that are very old and still look pretty good! My daughter wants them. But these seem thin and cheaply made. The heels slip, no padding, no arch support. They look cute, but it ends there.

These are great looking shoes. I can wear them almost all day, but my feet do get a bit tired if I do a lot of walking.

I wish I had taken the reviews seriously. Save your money and time. These shoes are a definite no. The other bad reviews of these shoes are spot on. The sole is very cheap, thin tread. One major problem is that there is no ankle support. The ankle is made huge so they look awful on the foot. I would not pay $8 for these shoes. Sending them back!

Just like the other Sporto boots I have, these are just as comfortable and cute. I usually wear anywhere from a 9 to a 10. The ones I bought are a 10 which allow me lots of wiggle room which I personally like in a boot because I usually wear thicker socks & I don't like my shoes tight. The ankle shaft is also very roomy so it doesn't bind your leg when you're walking. Very comfy boot! Love these a lot!

I bought these half a size larger larger because sometimes these type of boots are uncomfortable on my feet. I wear them with medium thickness socks and they feel great! Nice looking boots and comfortable. My feet didn't hurt after wearing them. I'm glad I got them half a size larger. I even wore them in the snow and they had good traction. I wear a lot of the Ugg "classic" boots in size seven, and I don't wear socks with the fleece lined Ugg boots most of the time. I bought these in 7 1/2 and wear with medium thick socks. They felt comfortable...not too tight.
