I purchased this shoe looking for a nice comfortable black work shoe that had a little style. I'm usually a 9.5 so I purchased that one first, the toe box is very hard and does not flex, resulting in the 9.5 being too tight at the toes and painful. I switched to the 10 which got away from this issue, but then the shoes were too loose! I tried inserts but they only somewhat solve the problem. If not for the issue with the fit with the toes I'd give the shoe a 5, but considering a 9.5 is too tight and a 10 too loose, I have to downgrade the shoe to a 3.
P.S. The black is very shiny.

Cute and comfy!
I've wanted so badly to wear the cute stylish flats my girlfriends wear, but super flat soles were terrible for my back pain. Then I found the Hush Puppy Sonnet. It has ample heel, soft flexible sole and comfy footbed. Finally a cute "flat" style I can wear. Perfect with jeans, dress pants, capris and casual dresses. I ordered them in pewter and light brown/saddle and I find they match almost any outfit I wear. Love these shoes! I'm usually an 8.5, ordered 8M in these and they fit perfect.

Got these in silver and LOVE them. Very comfortable and stylish and they match so many of my outfits that have hints of silver or gray in them. I have a muscle disease and often have great difficulty walking. I am unable to stand for more than 5 or 10 minutes at a time and really struggle with finding shoes that work for me. Hush Puppies do the trick. Now they are all that I wear!

Cute and comfy -
I recently hurt my back so I needed something that I could wear to work that would look nice and feel good. These shoes are great for that. The footbed comes out easily so I can put my orthotics in and have the support I need and still look professional.

The Hush Puppies Sonnet was HUGE. I ordered a 12M and it was 1/2 size too big all around. And oddly, the front part of the right shoe was visibly larger than the left shoe. And the other reviewer is correct, the black is strangely shiny, even for patent leather.

I'm hoping these will break in a bit, and flex more with my foot. Other than that, they are nice shoes -- well made, and very cute.

I first ordered this shoe in the 9.5. Unfortunately, that size was a little too small (Although my typical). The toe box ended up pressing a little too much although the rest of the shoe was OK. The 10 is a little large for me and the heel slips, you may end up being in between sizes. I have ended up switching to a larger sock to solve this. Otherwise the shoe is comfortable with decent support. The black is very shiny FYI.

These shoes are very comfortable, even for walking around all day, and the width is great for me. Even though I got compliments on how "nice" they look, I thought they were a bit too bulky looking. Nevertheless, they are so comfortable I will order another pair!

LOVE those Hush Puppies -
I was looking for a comfortable brown shoe to wear with nice pants or a skirt since I can't wear heels anymore :(. I have loved Hush Puppies before, and these are just as great. I got nice compliments on the look and style. They were very comfortable from the first instant I put them on. A great shoe.

OUCH!! Sent these back in a hurry -
I was looking for a "dress" flat that was more comfortable like a sneaker. This isn't it. The toe box is rigid and would probably take several wears to break down most of the toe box. The inner area of the toe box, where you big toe rests, however is not forgiving. Even in the wide or half size larger, this shoe rubbed my big toe. The toe box is very rigid in that area and extremely uncomfortable. I didn't even make a full lap in the home with these.

Cute but not as comfy as they look -
Maybe just my feet but these shoes kill the bottoms of my feet... not the arch support... it’s like walking on rocks. I tried gel inserts which helped but still... owie.

Very comfortable and looks good with pants or skirts. I have very wide feet with a high instep and often have trouble finding a shoe that feels good. I normally wear an 8.5 as wide as I can get. The sonnet 8.5 W fit perfectly and was comfortable from the first time I put it on.

Comfy but too wide.
I ordered a narrow but this shoe runs much wider than narrows usually fit. If they were not running so wide, I would have purchased a pair in the other two colors offered since they are very comfortable and cute.
