These are just comfortable, casual, everyday pants as an alternative to denim. They are good for traveling. I am 5'7" and usually wear a size 4 and found the 32" inseam and size 4 worked perfectly (with flats). The material is soft and has a bit of a nice sheen to it. Straight leg pants. I have yet to go wrong with Prana pants. I ordered the gray and liked them enough to order another pair in khaki.
