Great, great shoes! This perfect shade of pewter goes with everything! I originally bought these shoes because I injured my big toe and needed thong type of sandals, but still needed dressy shoes for a special dinner. They look great with dresses as well as pants. Very comfortable.

Deceiving - This style is extremely narrow, especially on the ankle. Since the top of the gladiator comes up so high, it really restricts your natural walking movement. I don't even think that ordering a half size or whole size larger would help in this situation. Good luck.

These shoes are hot! I have them in black, and I love this brand now. I also have the cutout stilettos they make. For a stiletto, they are relatively comfortable, totally acceptable for comfort. They are really flattering. They are a little stiff but seem to be getting more pliable. The ring on the outside of the ankle digs a little but nothing deal-breaking and again, I think it's getting better. These look great with skinny pants, boot cut, dresses, everything. They have a boot-like thing as far as how they look, but are more of a shoe/pump in construction. Definitely worth it, I get tons of compliments.

This is a GREAT shoe!!! I love the way that it looked, but I didn't think that it would be so comfortable, but they are...I love them and have since bought another pair - Murielle. It gets five stars, two thumbs up and my personal vote of best shoe purchase THIS SPRING!!!!!

I loved these so much until I tried them on. The styling is great, but the fit is horrible. They are super narrow, and the opening for the ankle is very small.

Beautiful Shoe - Loved these shoes but unfortunately had to return them for size. They fit true to size, so if you are in between sizes definitely go for the larger size. Too bad they didn't have my larger size in stock. Side note: The strap has buttons and is snug so they won't fit wide feet.

Love these sandals! Feel true to size. Felt wonderful the first time I put them on. Some gladiator sandals are kind of sloppy or large at the ankles, these look and fit wonderfully! Would highly recommend these sandals and I will look at more Pour la Victoire items based on how well I love these!

Not flattering - These shoes were comfortable but the second I looked in the mirror I decided to return them. They make your legs look stumpy and your feet look both wide and long somehow. There are much more flattering and cute gladiators out there

I love it!!! Women all across the world. Add this pair of shoes to your collection. Yes, I know they are a little pricey and with our economy, it's not smart to spend frivolously. I had debated for months over these shoes, and finally I couldn't take it anymore and decided to buy them and I couldn't be happier. These shoes say "I’m here, and now the party can begin.” They are definitely a head turner. The 2 negatives I would say are the slippery bottoms-especially on carpet, so be sure to get some of the non-slip gripper pads, and the metal loop on the side laid right on my baby toe. The platform definitely makes a big difference. You won’t be able to walk a marathon in these, but I didn’t want to cut my feet off after wearing them, like I have in some of my other shoes. Other than that, these are great party shoes.

Stellar Crossover Shoe - Bought the Cezanne in black, 1/2 size smaller than I am and it fit like a glove. Looks as good with jeans and slacks as it does with skirts. Equally appropriate for corporate as it would be for an evening out. Added plus, for us wide foot gals it has a nice slimming effect.

Sexy, Beautiful, AND Comfortable! I normally wouldn't pay this much for a shoe-in fact I looked at the picture for several days before I decided to purchase. Zappos "no hassle" return policy made the decision easier. When I first put them on I thought that they might be too tight, but they fit my foot perfectly and were really comfortable. (I have a somewhat narrow foot with smaller ankles and it is a snug fit). The heel is high but placed at the back of the shoe which kept me from being pitched forward and the straps encasing my foot give extra stability. The color is unique and the crackling effect keeps them from being too shiny. I can't wait to wear these with a new dress (and a few old ones)!

I love the quality & style of this sandal. I think they look like the perfect gladiator. However, the fit is very strange. The footbed is extremely narrow. I have narrow feet, but it was even too narrow for me. My foot hung over on both sides. I’m so disappointed that I have to return these.

If you are drooling over these shoes and wondering if your feet can stand them—fear not! These shoes are as comfortable as they are hot. It seems impossible, but it’s true. The leather is buttery soft. The platform off-sets the heel, and the super-smooshy padding under the ball of the foot makes these shoes totally walkable. Amazing.

SO Pretty! I was disappointed with the shoe itself, for the price it should come in perfect condition, but in some parts the "cracked leather" is chipping off. And it is not actual cracked leather but something painted on over the leather that is coming off. I did not return them though because they are exactly what I needed and are so so pretty! But after calling and mentioning the chipped part zappos did give me the current sale price. They really look great with absolutely everything! Jeans, cocktail dresses, even suits. Beautiful, I just wish they were made better.

Surprisingly comfortable. I ordered these shoes in navy blue with the teal bow. They are beautiful and surprisingly comfortable, given the pointy toe. I received compliments on them (something that always pleases a woman). As a previous reviewer indicated, the quality of the shoes is far from excellent, so the price is outrageous.

I ordered these fantastic boots on a Saturday and they arrived on Monday! Zappos always delivers! These boots are so beautiful. I love Pour La Victoire boots - such soft, supple, high quality leather. They were completely comfortable from the moment I put them on. And so edgy! with their hardware, zippers, and slightly slouched look. I wore them over skinny jeans to a concert at Club Nokia (downtown L.A.) last night, and received both stares and compliments from perfect strangers. I wore them for almost 7 hours, and they stayed comfortable! (Almost unheard of in a new pair of boots.) I highly recommend Pour La Victoire boots to anyone willing to pay for quality. You will not be disappointed. Definitely worth every penny.

I placed my order for this item just yesterday, and my order is already here! Talk about superfast delivery! I ordered the black Balboa sandals and it is so pretty! Great Brown Flat Boot! I love my brown Pour la Victoire's Malore flat boots. As for quality, I think they are very high-end. I did not have any problems with scuffing. The fit is fairly tight at first, but these are the type of boots that need to be broken in and it will take a few wears (they are probably narrower than most shoes though). I've worn mine about 6 times and they are finally getting easier to put on. They are very tall, but you can scrunch them down or pull them up, depending on your style.
