If you are looking for shoes that are comfortable and unique, go with the PF Flyers. they are better than converse by far. Converse are more accessible and therefore common. PF Flyers are for the ones who know better. they have more thoughtful details and really are more comfortable. these are awesome shoes! Better still, Zappos not only gave me free shipping, but upgraded it and I got the shoes the very next day. Zappos is the only place I will shop for shoes, period. There is no sense even trying to go into a store as you cannot find a selection like this anywhere. Free shipping and the next day your order is at your door?! unheard of! but it is true!

I used to wear these shoes as a kid and had no idea they were still being made. So I was thrilled to find them and have received numerous compliments about them. That said, they are not the most comfortable shoes in the world, flat and somewhat board-like, just like Chuck Taylors. Sure, the styling can't be beat, but be prepared for the gumming around the the white banding to pucker and separate a bit, but not completely, from the canvas. I do still love them, though, but much more so for the sentimental value of wearing what I wore as a kid, and the awesome retro styling, than for the comfort. I found them true to size, though many here say to order a 1/2 size up.

Great sneakers with good support. Found them true to size, as I took advice and ordered 1/2 larger only to have to return them for my true size. Not for people with wide width feet. Love the look!

These repro PF Flyers are the best! I have had more compliments on these shoes than any I have ever bought! They are comfortable, unique, and reasonable! Bought them online, next day they were at my door!

Having bought sneakers of this style from other brands, I would have to say these are the most comfortable I've had so far. The insole in these PF flyers is padded so its more forgiving than in other brands and more than I expected and rather. Even so, if you're like me and have gotten used to the airs, springs, bubbles and other comfort gimicks over the years, be realistic, the outer sole on these is a slab of rubber like the originals and you will feel more of the pavement underneath you. Style wise in this economy, you can't beat them. I've bought about 3 pairs (in various colors) for what you might pay for one pair of more expensive Nikes. They're great for the summer and you can put them through the mill without feeling guilty. Then throw them in the washing machine and youre ready to go. Not sure if there's a technical difference in production between the Genuine Reissue and the remakes, but the genuine reissues felt a bit tighter while the remakes fit perfect. Nothing a good pair of shoe trees/stretchers and some breaking in didn't fix though.

I love these shoes. I bought three pairs. They make me feel like a kid again as I always started the summer with a new pair. They offer great support, far better than other brands.

I absolutely LOVE PF Flyers - I have three pair. They are honestly one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I think a lot of people don't understand that even though they look "cool" they actually offer great support and comfort. I work 12 hours a day/6 or 7 days a week and never have a problem running amok in these great shoes. I am forever explaining the posture foundation part of PF Flyers to the many people that compliment my fun shoes.

Great shoes. I've always worn Converse Chuck Taylors but it seems the quality isn't what it once was. The P.F. Flyers have better cushioning and I do believe I can run faster and jump higher. One bit of advice, make sure you order a half size larger than you normally wear.

I absolutely love these shoes! I was kind of self-conscious about buying them because I thought my friends might make fun of me but I was completely wrong. I got mad respect when I wore these things the first time. Not only are they styling, but they are extremely comfortable. I ordered mine at about 9:45 and got them the next day at around 12:00 in the afternoon. I love zappos.com!

Gotta luv 'em - I am thoroughly pleased with my Zappos.com experience. I purchased a pair of PF Flyers Center Lo Re-issue sneakers in Navy. They fit perfectly and are exactly what I wanted. I have read a lot lately about the possibility of overly supportive shoes actually being bad for your feet; not allowing the foot to flex and stretch naturally, etc. I don't know if that is true or not, but decided to start going barefoot where possible and wearing comfortable but less supportive shoes. The PF Flyer's are somewhat supportive, for a sneaker, but not extremely so. They were comfortable right out of the box and I have worn them quite a lot already. They look great with jeans and are also a nice bit of nostalgia, as I wore the same shoe as a kid. My feet seem to be responding well to my tactic of wearing less-supportive shoes. I had a big toe that was starting to give me some problems, and having seen friends suffer from bunions, I wanted to avoid that. My toe is definitely straighter, and also completely pain free. I'm certainly not offering advice about foot care - I'm no podiatrist - but I am pleased with my results.
