Move over, Chuck Taylor. PF Flyers have never disappointed me. I have a pair of Center Lo's and Number 5's. Unlike those, the Bob Cousy doesn't have a removable insole. As a result, the cushioning and arch support feels more firm and supportive. They were comfy right out of the box. No break-in time was needed. Also, the fabric inside the heel is suede. I would recommend going up a half-size from your normal shoe size.

Great Shoe - This is a great shoe. Well constructed. Had a pair of Varvatos Chucks. They lasted a little over a year and fell apart. These put them to shame for a little more than half the price. Comfortable, casual, great with Khakis or jeans.

Just the answer - Very comfortable, well made shoes. I wear them to work all the time and my feet never feel tired or stressed after a long day. After sporting Chuck Taylors for years and becoming more and more disappointed in their quality and comfort, these PF Flyers were a welcomed change.

Amazing Shoes - Wow this was a great buy; they are a lot more comfortable than converse and vans. Fits great a bit tight but just need to break them in. Good Job PF Flyers your best shoe yet.

Top Choice - Great look - better then the alternative brand. Fit was perfect, comfort is average. Just great all around sneaker. It's an old classic which you can't screw up. Purchased Men's size 6 - Perfect Women's 7.5 fit for me. Zappos service was 5 Stars.

Not as much arch support as the sandlot model. The addition of the suede heel on the inside is superior to the sandlot as where this is where mine wore out first. Insole isn't removable so forget putting your own in.

I can fly with my PF Flyers - I remember the commercial like it was yesterday. They are the cool boy's play shoes that my mother never let me have... because they were boy's shoes. I have a wonderful pair in blue now. Although I have a slight foot injury and my podiatrist suggested strongly that I wear something with more support until it's healed.
Brands I'd also recommend: Adidas Originals Classic Vulc Lo... the arch is kinda hard though.

Not as bad as Converse - Doesn’t have as much arch support as my Sandlots. I wouldn’t get these again. Not the quality I came to expect from PF Flyers.

Great Shoes! I looked far and wide for bright green shoes, and found exactly what I was looking for in the PF Flyers. At first they were a little tight, but the canvas stretched to fit me very well.

Don't play hoop in these! These are for show only and show you how far basketball sneakers have come. They are cool and retro but don't do anything more than get the mail in them or risk breaking your ankle.

Classic and comfy - Chuck Taylors hurt my feet but these are really comfortable. I would actually play basketball in them (if I played basketball!).

How Cool Are Bright Green Basketball Shoes? I saw these shoes featured in the styles section of my local newspaper and knew I had to have them. What a combination: canvas, classic low-cut and bright Celtics green... what else would Bob Cousy have worn? They wear just like you would expect a canvas no-support 'sneaker' to wear (let's face it none of us has EVER bought a canvas sneaker for the support. But they look super cool! The first day I wore them I got two compliments in about twenty minutes, one of which came from the shoe salesman at a high-end department store. How cool is that! Definitely a style purchase well worth the price.

Good basic, stylish shoe - Overall good shoe. Keep in mind that these are old school, Chuck Taylor type shoes with little cushion and not much support. They are however great shoes for kicking around town in after work or on a weekend. I only have two main gripes, one being the price which seems high for what these are...but then again I paid it, so it must not be too bad right? The other is that the point where the rubber meets the canvas at the crease point when you step forward, well that started to separate a bit right away. I will say that it never got any worse and it doesn't seem to effect the shoe, just bugged me a bit...again for the price =)

A very awesome pair of shoes - I bought these for my son only a few days before Christmas and they were here the next day. Very convenient. He loves them, I bought him the blue version of this shoe and he said these were exactly what he wanted, so overall it was a very good purchase. He says the shoes are very comfortable and his only wishes are that they had more of the larger sizes in stock because he wants some of the other colors available.
Brands I'd also recommend: simple, camper, and converse shoes

My (Better Than) Converse Substitute - My feet are just a little too wide for All Stars and Jack Purcell's a fact that has long frustrated me as I love the classic style of those shoes. I've been looking for a substitute for ages. I bought these PF Flyers on a wish and a prayer —and a half size larger than I would normally, and they are PERFECT. Not only that, the detail, stitching and overall quality of manufacture of these shoes are significantly *superior* to the current batches of Converse. They don't have a lot of arch support, but there aren't completely flat inside, either, so they totally meet my comfort criteria for office work and walks to lunch.

Search has ended for a cool casual shoe in gray - I wanted an all gray casual shoe and searched Zappos site by color and genre and these showed up. It's not easy to find an all gray shoe. Converse Gray Chucks have the white soles I didn't want. It was between these or the Ecko Unlimited Whellers that also came up, but they were more black with gray. Ordered 9.5 US and fit perfectly with my own thin insole for additional arch as these shoes are fairly flat. Shoes arrived promptly and packed well with original box as straight as from factory. Zappos saved me a lot of time trying to find what I wanted.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ecko Unltd Wheller, Converse

Much better fit than Converse - I'm a convert. If you love Converse All Stars but need a bit more cushion, toe room and width, these are terrific. Emphasis on "a bit": do not expect to go running or walk all day in these shoes. Fashion more than comfort. I wear 9 wide and ordered a woman's 9: fits perfectly.

Was looking for something like Converse but a little different and am mostly happy. These are nowhere near as comfortable as my last pair of shoes though, and the soles are hard plastic material and loud! It almost seemed like I was wearing dress shoes when I first tried them out.
