These run a half size small. Not for those with a low volume foot. I had to return mine because a fully closed strap was not sufficient to secure my foot.

Best shoe so far for comfort and stability. I'm a big guy and have trouble finding a shoe that is comfortable. These fit my size 13 foot perfectly. Plenty of room in the toe box too.

Another great pair of shoes from Pearl Izumi. I'm 6'5" and 270 and I'm extremely active, so I need comfortable and durable shoes.

I've put about 200 miles into the 2015 N2s now, and went from loving the shoe to finding the ride feeling a bit awkward. As a reference, I also run in the trail N2s (previous generation though), trail N1s, and N0s. First, the sole is very firm. If you are expecting plush, you should get away from the 2015 EM line. With that said, firm is ideal for a responsive shoe, and that is exactly why I like taking these out for tempo work. I find however that after spending a week in more minimal, flexible shoes, or in cushioned shoes such as Kinvaras or Hokas, I have to adjust back to the feel of the 2015 N2s, making my gait feel awkward. On a positive note, 200 miles has done very little to the bottom of the shoe-- I can see this pair lasting another 300 miles at the very least.

They are comparable to socks costing twice as much. I had a foot injury that caused swelling and had to have a very thin sock, these were perfect. I ordered a second pair.

I originally bought some specialized shoes that felt too big for the size (9.5). These were the opposite and felt a little smaller than a 9.5, which, works well for those like me that don't want to wear sock when they ride...

This is my new go-to shoe for high mileage road training. Super comfortable upper that has never caused any issues or foot discomforts. The midsole cushioning is awesome - soft in the heel feeling and smooth and responsive in the forefoot - the perfect combo. I would highly recommend this shoe!

This all-round great trail shoe! Every time I have worn them I ended up running twice the milage I intended because I didn't want to stop. The grip is great for varied trail and not too knobby for the road if you need to run to a trailhead, this is so rare to find a shoe that comfortably does both. They are seamless and you forget that you are wearing them. The width of the forefoot is great for a normal to slightly wider foot, if you are wider than a D you might want to check out the men's shoe which is slightly roomier. I have a high arch and usually buy a Neutral shoe but I have ran in both the N2 and the M2 and find them to be pretty similar but slightly prefer the bit of extra reinforcement around my instep in the M2. I ran in Brooks Cascadia for many years until they started making them so narrow, the Em Trail is similar although a much lighter more comfortable. The only con is the tread will gum up in sticky mud.

These shoes are amazing. I have two pairs of these new N1 shoes and they are awesome. I am a serious runner who averages 60 to 80 miles a week and these shoes are very good for any distance up to a marathon. So far I raced eight half marathon in these shoes and they performed flawlessly. No hotspots, blisters or any discomfort. I also ran 10 miles in these shoes right out of the box. They did not need any break in period. The upper of these shoes is very nice, seamless and breathable. These are definitely my long distance/marathon shoes.

Love the shoes which run about one size small. Zappos delivered them on time and followed up with a easy return and delivery of the larger size shoes.

Do not listen to another review that states that you can wear these without socks. I thought this was a cool idea, tried it, got horrific blisters on both heels. The scars will last a lifetime.

Things I liked: true to size, snug fit, stays in place, long enough for my long torso. Didn't like the strap across the back of the neck. To me it was uncomfortable.

These are great shoes for spin or road riding. Nice stiff shank, but with a comfortable fit. The roomiest toe box of the Pearl Izumi's (various models) that I tried. Also, the 41 matched an 8.5 street shoe and size 9 running shoe, in case that helps. Possible to walk with these without that heel walk that you see with so many bike shoe models.

I had tried this shoe on in a store and it felt as though it had a lot of cushioning, and I really need that for plantar fasciitis. So I finally decided to order from Zappos. Disappointed. It runs 1/2 size small, the arch support is negligible, and the cushioning is not that great once you walk on a non-carpeted surface - I had to replace the insoles with my own gel insoles. So given the price I would not buy this brand again.

I am on my 6th pair of this shoe, so obviously I am a big fan. I run mountain ultras and find these to be a light, comfortable shoe with pretty good traction. I really like the wide toe box. The fabric will wear on the exterior sides of the toe box but that comes after a lot of miles on trails. I did notice that the most recent pair I bought seemed to run a little larger than past pairs. I had originally been upsizing a half size with these so maybe they are now true to size. The M2 is definitely worth a try!

Great socks. They do not slide off your heel. Very light and comfortable.

I bought these for the wider toe box and flexible material and they are perfect. I have a Stiff Big Toe and needed a pair of light and comfortable riding shoes for cleats. With superfeet insoles these are great! I suggest ordering one-size higher than normal. Usually I wear 42 and the 43 worked. They are good for city riding, easy to walk around with cleats (no slipping). I have only worn them on a few rides and will report back if anything changes.

Unfortunately, despite being billed as a shoe for the triathlon, there is no grip or traction whatsoever to the soles of these shoes -- how anyone could run in them is a mystery. I put one on, stood up, and hit the deck as my foot slid out from under me.

Great minimal shoe that is not to flat or hard and does not force your foot into an unnatural position. Flexible and responsive on grass, road, trail and track. Nice width in the forefoot. Adequate support for a minimal shoe without being too heavy or "squishy" due to too much cushion. I have ordered a second pair to allow for rotation. Quite pleased!

This was my first purchase of bike shorts. The Izumi canyon shorts fit well and looked good. The padded under shorts made for a comfortable ride. I liked the shorts so much, I bought a 2nd pair.

I am not one that takes time to write reviews, but felt it was well deserved here. After receiving these shoes I was skeptical to wear them out of the box for a 15 mile run across the Bridger Mountains of Montana. Miles of razor sharp shale and un-even terrain couldn't keep me back. Right out of the box these felt great and held up to everything that was thrown at them. I highly recommend this shoe for any trail in the world.
