These are great shoes. They fit true to size. They hold your feet snug. I am not 100 percent sold on whether the heel strap will hold up but so far so good. Great look, too. Beats the black model hands down. I would definitely buy these again. But not the black ones.

I purchased these shoes after Mizuno discontinued the Wave Ascend trail running shoe. These shoes feel very similar to my old Mizunos, which is a good thing! These Pearls actually have better traction on wet rocks than the Mizunos. The rock plate is also nice. The shoes don't feel heavy or bulky - one thing I dislike about the ever-popular Brooks Cascadia is that they are bulky and too much shoe - not the case with these Pearls :) I have slight bunions and these shoes fit comfortably. My boyfriend thinks they are "cool-looking" but I think they are ugly (I have them in gray/green). But I don't buy running shoes based on how they look. My only complaint is the heel is cut too wide for my feet and it feels like my heels are going to slip out with every step. I get used to it after a mile or so and it doesn't bother me after that, but I wouldn't want to wear these in very DEEP mud for fear that a shoe will get stuck in the mud and my foot will pull out. Running through regular mud, though, the shoes are fine, but one time I did have to take them off mid-run and slap them against a tree because the treads collected too much mud and the shoes got really heavy. (I plan on wearing my old Mizunos for trail races since they are plenty secure in the heel.) My Pearls are less than one month old and have over 110 trail miles on them. I will likely replace these (when the time comes) with another identical pair. BUT - When I first tried these Pearls on in the store, I also tried on the Merrell All Out Charge, they were awesome except they rubbed my baby toe slightly during the test run around the building. They were narrower in the heel, though, so I may buy a pair of those to compare (and hope they don't rub my toe too much).

Ordered these for short (<80km) backpacking trips. They come highly recommended from a certain outdoor gear blog so I figured I'd give them a try. Pros: The shoe upper is incredibly breathable and dries fast. Mud slides right off the grippy carbon sole and feels really solid. I've found that foot placement isn't as important with these as with other trail runners I've had because the shoe is cut wide and the sole is rigid. Cons: The laces are a huge pain to adjust and don't tighten down as much as I'd like. You can yank on them as hard as you can and it'll never feel super secure. The heels are super wide - the right heel slips and feels like the shoe would come right off if you ran through some thick mud. The upper rubs on my big toe and ultimately the shoe is really uncomfortable for me. Ended up returning the n2 and picked up some tried and true Sportiva Helios SR trail runners.

Excellent pair of spinning shows. Where with out socks. No break required. Bought only a 1/4 size bigger and they fit perfect.

Most comfortable shoes ever and got them in one day. Sign me up for that. Nice low stack height too so the shoe is very responsive without any jarring feel. Super stylish too!

These are excellent trail running shoes. Don't buy them if you do road/hard-surface exclusively. They can still handle a mixed amount, but they weren't designed with that primarily in mind. I've yet to find a better trail shoe for my feet.

So far so good. I usually have a hard time finding shoes that don't cause some pain in the shins after a run but these have been a pleasant surprise. Good cushioning, good support and a smooth ride.

These are cute and lightweight shoes that are great for minimalists. They have nice flat soles for zero drop. They also have a nice wide toebox. Unfortunately they were a bit too short for me, so I have to send them back.

I can not rate this shoe. I was not able to fit my foot in. Felt narrow and small.

These shoes aren't much to look at, but they definitely get the job done! I ordered six pairs of running shoes and these were the only ones that helped me. I have been having knee pain with running and realized my old shoes were forcing my step the wrong way. These shoes are great for an over supinator like me. It took a lot of shoes and pain in the knee until I finally figured it out! Now running is enjoyable again! Note that these shoes run small. I ordered a whole size larger than I usually do. They run a little wide too. I could do for a narrower shoe, but they make me feel great running so I can deal with it.

These are quite good. I am very pleased. I used to run barefoot, but had to stop due to an injury. These are by no means like barefoot or like wearing running slippers, but they are very light and there is some ground feel. When I run on a rocky trail I can feel the rocks, but they don't hurt. They are very comfortable and very light. I highly recommend them.

I love the way the shoes look. The feel quite comfortable for walking around in. Almost like you're wearing nothing at all. However they don't have great support for running. I run on a treadmill and I still had some pains in my feet and lower legs in the last week I've been wearing these shoes. Hopefully I can adjust my gate accordingly and those will go away.

Really wanted to like these shoes, after reading reviews on another website thought they might be ok with my bunion. But sadly no. Too snug and also felt heel slipping a bit. If you have normal no problem feet, try them ,you'll probably love them.

This shoe is cut narrow. It squeezed my toes to the point where my foot started to feel numb. I recommend spending a bit more on a cycling shoe to get more comfort or size up.

I love how this feels on my feet. Similar to my previous purchase of the M2. Just enough arch support and perfect fit. I wish they have more color choices. I get compliments all the time.

I bought these to wear under exercise tights for cooler weather. The padding is adequate and the legs don't ride up on me. Lightweight. Will also use with nylon hiking shorts in summer while mountain biking.

My husband loves the comfort of these shoes. He gets shinsplints easily and hasn't had them with these shoes. Work great for backpacking trips as well. He normally is an 8 but for this brand, the 8.5 fits.

I think this jacket runs small. I wear a small-medium in shirts depending on the brand. I found that the small size in the jacket wouldn't even zip and the medium would have been uncomfortable while riding. So I'm going to size up to a large. I REALLY like the idea of how it converts from a jacket to a vest. The yellow color is VERY bright. I also run so I plan to use the vest/jacket for visibility doing other activities.

I average 80 miles/month. I've only put about 50 miles on these but love them so far. These are my first N1s after running in N2s the last two years. Gradually going slightly more minimalist. Definitely order 1/2 to 1 size up.
