Overall review is a positive one! Arch support could be beefed up a bit! True to size and excellent cushioning!

I think these run a little small. Usually I am a men's small but the medium was a perfect fit. Glad I can bike and represent my state...also looks great with a pair of shorts for the post celebratory event after a long ride.

I wear a 6 1/2 wide so I thought the 38 would fit but the shoes were too small. The width was ok with the velco all the way out but no room in the toe box and a little too snug. I will try the next size up.

I ended up returning for a full size larger. I have worn these several times now for indoor cycling and am very happy with them.

These were an excellent choice. They are the only ones that I could find that are surly enough for spin and that are comfortable and look like real sneakers.

First I should mention I wear Newton shoes for running, and I am partial to them. I wanted some variety, and someone mention these shoes and I really liked the style, so decided to give them a try. I deeply regret that decision. Out of the box the shoes look great. They are a little heavy compared to the Newtons, but they are well constructed and the heel support is definitely significant, which I thought would be good for an overpronator like me. I tried them on, they fit great. Nice roomy but not too roomy toe box (I have pretty standard width feet), and a great lining that felt like could be even worn without socks (not my thing.) I took them for an easy run first, anticipating some break in. I ran 5k in them, on a paved relatively flat trail. I hated every second of that run. The drop of this shoe felt weird. I can't explain it, but while the Newtons allow me to have a neutral foot fall, these were forcing my foot into a strange uncomfortable stride. My toes felt like they were jamming against the front of the shoe every time I landed, and I actually felt pain on my toenails by the time I was done. I should mention the shoe fits me fine. There is a comfortable amount of room in the toes where I don't feel it's an issue of fit, more of an issue of technology and what's happening inside this shoe when I run. Thinking this was a break in issue, I tried them on another run again. Same results, and I decided I definitely don't like these. I should have bought another pair of Newtons and gone on my merry way. I am so sad now that I have this very expensive piece of footwear that I can't run in. Maybe on a treadmill? Not sure, but I can't recommend them based on their performance. They are superbly constructed, which is why I gave them 2 stars, but I will never run in them again.

These work really great. I have used them five times and no longer have to use sunscreen on the arms. My arms don't feel hot with them on although they don't feel any cooler. They wick moisture well. They are a little tight on the upper arm around the black band but appear to be loosening up with each use to be a bit more comfortable.

I have had trouble finding a good fit/selection in my local stores and decided to give these a try. I would usually wear a large, but in bike shorts go up a size. The XL fit great. I am 5'6", 160#. Love how they are cut in the waist. Not too high. Highly recommend.

Pearl Izumi is definitely one of my favorite brands for trail running shoes. The toe-box is roomy enough for my feet. The first few times you wear them, you might feel them slipping off your feet while ascending up the trails. This can be avoided if you tie them properly. Pearls have gotten me through long training runs as well as a recent 100k, where I didn't once think about changing my shoes (in terms of comfort). My one draw back for this should is that running in muddy conditions isn't easy. In fact, if you know you'll be running in muddy/wet conditions, I'd choose a different brand. The treading on the bottom of pearls doesn't release mud properly and you'll be slipping and sliding for a while. That can be very annoying during a race!

The Pearl Izumi EM Trail Nv2 delivers perfect support, great cushioning and fit for my daily 6-8 mile country hikes. I like the light weight comfort aligned with an effective sole for traction on the trail. Love the style, design and especially the vibrant colors of these Pearls.

This is my second pair of Sun Sleeves. They fit well, seem to be quite durable, and don't make my arms any hotter when I'm running in the Las Vegas summer sun. They have a rubbery ring inside the end near your shoulder that helps hold them in place. I've had many different brands and these seems to be the best design/quality. My last pair did not have the large black ring with the Pearl Izumi logo, but it is not a big deal, especially if you are wearing a short-sleeve shirt which will cover that end.

Very comfy jersey. I like that it fits loose - not tight. I am 6'1" and weigh 210, mostly muscle (no belly) but still have enough meat that I don't like the gut hugging of a racers jersey. This fits the bill.

Size seemed slightly narrow in the toe box. I run in these sock-less. There was a small bur that caused a hot spot on a 9 mile+ run. Other than that, they are great. One note: They retain heat - my Saucony, Miz, and Salomon TR shoes are all much cooler (temp. wise) to run in.

Size up a whole size! I wear an 8 in most shoes so I ordered these in a 40. Returned for a 41. The 41 felt fine until 30 min into a 60 min spin class, when you've been on your feet a while and they've gotten hot and swell up some. I ended up with a 42 and my toes still hurt by the end of class! The shoe is somewhat narrow compared to other biking shoes, which I like because I have a narrow heel. However, my toes are medium width and this toe box in tight on me, in every size. It's not just narrow, it's small from top to bottom too. So I would definitely not recommend for people who have wider feet! I am keeping the 42 (I have never worn a size 9 in any kind of shoe in my life) and will keep suffering through because I like the white/green combo so much and I don't like the bulk of other shoes.

I absolutely love the look of this shoe! I normally wear a size 8, avg width and this shoe was a perfect fit, toe almost to the end with no room to spare initially. After a long ride it felt tight in the toe box so my foot must have swelled a little. I would recommend sizing up a half size for serious riders.

Love these socks. I need a thin sock because I have neuromas on my feet. But most thin socks don't breathe. These socks do. Love them in spin class.

I wear a 7.5 and I ordered the 39 (after consulting Pearl Izumi's website). Fit like a glove! I use these exclusively for indoor spin class and absolutely love them. Was tired of paying the $3 rental fee to share someone else's damp cycling shoes so I broke down and bought these. Note: you'll have to purchase the corresponding SPD cleats on Amazon for a couple bucks and attach them yourself - super easy. Love these!
