I love this shoe. I was turned on to Paul Green shoes by a salesperson at Nordstrom. I thought they looked funny, but when I tried them on it was if it was made specifically for my foot. I had the same pair in brown and absolutely love them, so I needed to get them in black. It is so comfortable, and a great, stylish alternative to gym shoes when I need to run errands in a stable flat shoe. Look great with jeans, and I wore them to a work function with business pants and it totally worked (needed to be moving on my feet all day). I have gone on to buy many other pairs of Paul Green shoes because I have found them to be the best shoe for the money. It is an investment in comfort and style.

Finally, a boot that is tall enough! These are lovely, luxurious suede and they don't cut my legs at the most unflattering spot, the middle of the calf, as do so many other boots. I can pull them all the way up to my knees. I also love the flat heels. I like the flat sole that are cushioned, not thin. Paul Green is well-constructed and supportive. Practical for winter and cute, too. These will be fine for skirts.

Nice shoe and good fit, though it felt slightly wide to me. I typically wear an 8.5 M and with a trouser sock, my foot was sliding around a bit in this shoe. I decided to return based on the style. It's great looking, but once I had it on, it didn't feel quite like me.

I love these because I can wear my orthotic inserts with them & still look like I'm in heels. These are cute & comfortable. They have the hidden heel inside the wedge and a comfort platform which gives support in the ball of the foot, too. They are higher than I usually am comfortable wearing. Because of the ankle strap, I'm sure I could dance in these. For some reason, they don't make my legs look heavy. I wear dark hosiery with them, though, that helps. The purple is deep & luscious, but I also have the basic black. These are timeless!

Love these boots. Put them on and they immediately became my favorites. They fit true to size and are comfortable walking long distances; look dressy and also great with jeans!

Great boots, comfortable, close enough to black to wear with everything. A little larger in the calf than I would like, but I gather that could be a plus for others. There\'s a small gusset to allow for some adjustment on the calf size.

I ordered this shoe in the "Fango" color, which is a cool-toned darkish brown. The suede is soft and even, which is what I would expect at this price! It is light enough to show off the bow detail on the toe. It is a gorgeous and versatile color. I would have preferred leather to suede since I think it's more durable, but the suede was what was offered so that's what I got. Paul Green is my favorite brand for a city walking shoe (I walk 4-5k a day minimum on city streets) and I invest in one pair a season when money allows. The fit is a tiny bit looser than the other Paul Greens I have, so I'd recommend ordering down for people who are on the small side of their size range. Despite the dainty appearance, it does have moderate to good arch support. I think that a rubber sole would have provided a bit more cushioning, but the upside to this sole is that the heel can be replaced as needed, whereas that isn't as easy with the rubber soled styles.

The leather of the shoe is very nice, taut, and stylish. The overall fit is slightly more narrow than expected. I receive compliments each day I wear them.

This is a very light weight shoe. I usually wear an 8 in a snug Paul Green boot and this shoe runs the same. Works for a narrow foot. Very cute for running around. Casual to work appropriate.

Just received these in black and they are adorable. It has a bit more of a heel than is apparent in the photo as it is hidden within the shoe making it more like a 3/4 inch heel. What you see is equivalent to 1/4 inch. They are true to size within the line. I find that the Paul Green shoes run a 1/2 size large and order a half size down. The suede is rich and soft and it will make a wonderful dressy flat for any occasion. But they will also lend themselves to a more casual look and I would have no problem wearing them with nice jeans/slacks. The toe box is a bit higher than average styles like this which makes them more wearable as there is no pressure on the toes. The bow lets them stand far above all the rest! Bravo!

These loafer-style shoes are pretty comfortable, and stylish. I wear a size 11 Narrow (but in this brand, size 10.5 regular), and I have a hard time finding stylish shoes I like, in my size. The soles are a bit "hard" but that doesn\'t detract from the comfort.

I got this shoe because I needed a conservative black pump. Listen to the other reviewers and get a smaller size than usual! I got it in my usual size, but it was just too big, so I had to return it. It seems like it would be very comfortable though.

Very comfortable shoes, love the color and style! I also like that they have a rubber sole and good tread which is important when living in the NW. Shoe fit runs narrow.

I ordered my correct size. I have a high instep and these are great. If needed, the calf circumference can be adjusted. If you are hesitating, don't as these boots are comfortable from the start.

Love this shoe, unfortunately, at least to my lights -- it runs a bit on the roomy and big side. I am a typical 9.5 wearer and had to send them back as they were just a tad too large. \r\n\r\nThe shoe, itelf, is lovely: very, very hip and stylish. Owing to its chunky sole, it makes the switch over to nice slacks while looking totally flattering with skirts. The inner lining is lovely and has a pleasant, soft feel. Despite the heel, the shoe is so comfortable one forgets they have a heel on. Leather is amazing, too.\r\n\r\nLove it. Can\'t wait for the size 9s to arrive!\r\n

Get them while you can! I have been looking high and low for a black boot "with a little hardware" over the last few months and finally found them. Initially I had wanted a higher boot, but I no sooner put these boots on and was instantly pleased, no thrilled, both by the look and the fit. I have long been a fan of Paul Green, but have been ordering a 1/2 size larger the past few years in PG footwear although I'm still a size 10 in most other brands. These boots are made for, whatever your pleasure. I'm hooked, and happy!

I have nightmare feet. They have hurt for over 50 years. The Paul Green Dana shoe was comfortable immediately. It is more comfortable than my sports shoes that I wear all of the time. I am glad that I found them. Thank you.

Best work shoe I've ever had. I am in a corporate environment and work, commute for 12+ hrs a day. This shoe goes great with my slacks and the heel is high enough for a dress/skirt too. I have over 75 pairs of shoes by high and low end designers, and this is the shoe I would choose over any other. Very comfortable and stylish enough. Worth every penny! I'm a 7.5m and somewhat wide - the 7.5 feels great but might feel too roomy if you have a narrow foot.

Paul Green shoes are my favorites and this pair is no exception. Great interior support so that there’s no strain whatsoever from standing or walking all day in this heel. Versatile, Deidra goes well with jeans or with a business suit. I bought the Mocha only because this shoe was not available in my size in Black. And, as always, shopping with Zappos is a wonderful experience.

Paul Green Dex -- These just arrived and true to form they live up to Paul Green\'s usual excellent standards. I bought the "Rave" 3 years ago and wore them hard and was hoping to find something with the same fit and here they are. The toe is slightly more tapered giving them a dressier look but the sizing is the same. Don\'t let the lug sole fool you: they are very light and a great everyday option. So now I will wear the "Rave" on messy days and save the new "Dex" to wear on nice days to extend the lifetime of the newer shoe. Love the shoes and Zappos too!
