My first foray into tech under layers - could not be happier. Wore this thing for 7 days straight on Kilimanjao trek - had every condition possible in every layered situation and could not have been happier with this thing, stupid as it sounds. I thought I'd want to burn the thing after wearing it for so many days straight, but I still love it! Slimming fit but not too tight and looks great.

Great shirt. It's nice slim but not tight at all fit on my (6 foot 170 lbs). Perfect for cool weather and aerobic activity. I actually bought it to put over a t-shirt while traveling and just a little extra when a jacket isn't needed. It is the perfect weight for my intentions. I would like to get the Cap 3 too with the two, you'd be good for a lot of situations. The other amazing thing was Zappos. I ordered the shirt last night at 11pm and it arrived today at 3:30pm! It was free overnight shipping. Can't beat that! Thanks Zappos and Patagonia.

I purchsed two of these shirts in January 2012 for outdoor activities including hiking because the shirts wick moisture and dry quickly. The long sleeves help prevent sunburn. Although I enjoy using these shirts for hiking, they have become my favorite daily workout shirts for running, biking, and gym work. These shirts are comfortable and also serve as a nice layer beneath a rain jacket in cool rainy weather. I am very satisfied with these shirts.

My husband loves capilene shirts for any outdoor activity, i.e., mountain biking, snow boarding, chopping wood, etc. The shirts are true to size and really wick away sweat to keep you warm and dry. Great base layer. Zappos got them here on time for Xmas.

Better than I expected and I expected a lot from Patagonia! Light weight, extremely comfortable and warm. I use for base layer for cold weather bike rides and hikes. Also great for around the house with the weather getting cold here in the central US. Liked it so much, I bought the Capilene number 1 lightweight crew as a workout shirt and for use in warmer weather to wick away moisture.
