I wasn't crazy about the look of the suede. I know its waterproof so perhaps that is reason. The shaft was too wide for my leg. Not the boots fault-my calves are small.

These boots are beautiful but they are TINY! I couldn't even get my foot into them. I'm a 6/12-7 and I got the 7. I don't even know if a 7.5 would have worked. There is no "give" to get your foot down into the boot. The zipper is only partial. I guess I need a full side zip.
