I’ve had versions of this model for 7 years or more. It’s called the Minimus for a reason. It’s a natural trainer. Reviews here are like criticizing a salad for not being a steak. I use these in moderation when it’s appropriate and they’ve done wonders for strengthening my feet and repairing my natural health. Overuse initially did cause me problems. Plantar fasciitis got better, but left me with tight calves and Achilles. I do find it necessary to also have shoes that have more cushion and support if I feel that tightness coming on. But using cushioned shoes all the time is a bit like using crutches all the time. There’s no getting around being a student of your body and listening to that. This shoe does require an adaptation period before being used all the time.

This is an excellent trainer shoe for functional training sessions. This shoe has a great fit, strong material, easy to clean and maintain. I had the original shoe and it’s a great feeling to learn that they’ve only got better with the new addition. Thank you!

Good quality shoes that are great for casual hikes. They definitely run a size smaller than what I normally wear (I had to buy a size 11, but wear a 10 typically).
