I’m so surprised by the bad reviews on these—they are the best sneakers I’ve bought for my toddler in a long time (I also liked the Keen Newport H2Shoes but they seem to be discontinued). My toddler has what I call “tall feet” because I don’t know what else to call them—they’re not so much wide as tall and it makes most sneakers a no go because I can’t even shove them onto his feet. The Velcro opening on these is so wide that it’s just never a battle, and there’s some wiggle room in how tight I can make them. FWIW, these are not used as outdoor play shoes—we basically use them for everything but, because the outdoor play shoes are too dirty to use for, say, the airport or the grocery store. Basically, if you have a toddler with tall feet, or are just tired of the battle of stuffing their feet into sneakers, I really recommend these.
