I was eyeing these shoes for a couple months but hadn't pulled the trigger because the Q&A above indicates the sole is not removable and I need orthotics. I ended up going to the Reebok website and chatted with one of their reps and he told me it is removable! I ordered three sizes, unsure of the right one - ended up with a full size larger to accommodate my protalus insoles. The existing thin foam insole is lightly glued to the bottom of the shoe, and takes almost no effort to remove. As for style, I was expecting a darker beige but was really pleased with the slightly off-white I received! It's easier to pair with neutrals or black. I think it's a very cute shoe!

I just unwrapped the one shoe, then returned them to the box. They looked exactly like the display. Based on previous experience with this layered construction, they should have moderate wear. Unfortunately, the problem is not with the shoe, it is with Zappos' shoddy constructed website and convoluted selection process. I wear a 9M men's shoe. The shoe that arrived was a 9B Woman's shoe. I specifically, incrementally, selected athletic/walking, color white, brand Reebok, size 9 D & M, then lastly sort by best seller. Up popped this item, without a single mention of the gender or shape of foot on which it belonged. As an retired software engineer, I'm seeing a lot of slip shod applications, like the one that delivered the wrong product to my door. It would be nice if the vendor, that Zappos selected to build their online presence, hired American educated citizens, who by virtue of our unique educational style of teaching young people how to think and solve problems produce better quality employees/workers. Versus, every other educational system in the world that teaches rote memorization and recitation; which of course, teaches nothing.

I bought these shoes 10 months ago, and have loved them and worn them to death. It was a no brainer to replace them with the exact same shoe. What I got visually was the same shoe, but is *not* the same shoe. The rubber sole is now 1/4" more narrow, so my toes pinch, and the overall quality is much cheaper feeling. I wore them for 3 hours and for 2 hours and 58 minutes, I was thinking about how I couldn't wait to take them off.
