I loved the shoes, simple, comfortable, etc. and bought two pairs. But they have some sort of really strong artificial berry scent infused into the shoe. Yuck! I assumed the smell would dissipate but it's been a month and they still make the closet smell like some sort of chemical fake deodorizer. Unless I find out that Cienta doesn't do this to other shoes, won't buy these again. Too bad!

This is our second pair of Cientas and my daughter and I love them. They are classic and uncomplicated, pretty and sturdy Mary Jane sneakers. She loves them. We had the pink canvas before and this pair is a sparkly canvas. My only complaint is that the inner sole is loose and would slide around and come out. I ended up gluing it down with shoe goo and it was fine after that so no affect on rating. We will buy again.

The shoe is perfect except we're seeing now after many washings that the Velcro is not sticking. However, this shoes gets big credit because it washes nicely yet the purple bling exterior still stands out. The sole is in good shape and it really looks very new aside from the Velcro dilemma.
