As it turned out, I wore these to the Charlotte, NC Auto Fair. Walked 10,000 steps plus. Plenty of toe room and my feet felt great. Look great with jeans and sweater.

I have been looking forever not knowing what I wanted...a lightweight, but supportive leather sneaker good for lots of walking (many miles a day) with a durable sole and made in Europe! This is it. It fits perfectly, feels good and is soft without a humongous heel that makes it difficult to move as most have. I got the gray and it is not even slightly dowdy (as in another review), but if it is too big which it is not, it could be possibly. I don't know about the brown, looks more dowdy, the gray is subtle and good. It is seldom to never that I find a shoe I try on and then go yeah! Thank you Zappos.
