I love this simple classically styled jacket! It’s great for spring, autumn, and summer (evenings or slightly chilly days). I wear it around town to do simple errands or meeting with friends/family. I own a number of Fjallraven products, and not only do they hold up to a lot of abuse, but they only take minimal to no up keep. I have a number of more technical gear, sometimes you just don’t need it or want something simple, this jacket hits the spot.
I do agree, the fit is more slim than other Fjallraven jackets (I am usually a small in this brand, but fit comfortably in a medium with room for another thinner layer, and I have broad shoulders). It is meant to show more of the feminine figure, with a flare at the hips. I am very short at 5 feet, but this jacket fits well without looking like I am drowning in “mommy’s jacket”.
The material is stiff the first time you wear it, but the more you wear it, the softer/flexible it gets. The reason is that the Fjallraven Greenland was had already been applied. The wax makes the jacket water resistant and wind resistant (the more you layers of wax you apply the more the wind and water resistant the jacket will become). However, if you don’t care for the water and wind resistances, then simply wash the jacket according to the Fjallraven website or the jacket tags, a few times will make it softer. If you have the need to re-wax it and feel intimidated to, you can locate the nearest Fjallraven store for a complimentary waxing service.
I love this jacket to own different colors. I received compliments every time I wear it, and make use of all of the pockets as I don’t carry a purse during Covid (2 zippered side pockets, & 2 unofficial inside pockets). I wish the brand brought back more of the other colors, one of my favorite is my trusty deep red (muted red) color (my Stina jacket I wear the most), or make it in frost green (teal) or dark olive (dark brown). If you are looking for the same look, but without the hood, I highly recommend the Kiruna Lite (but I haven’t seen it very much online, so they maybe discontinuing it, as I have noticed the brand is slimming down it’s product lines).
Beautiful color and strong, durable fabric, but cut sleeves were cut so tight and narrow that I couldn't comfortably bend my thin arms, which cut off my circulation, tight in the chest, shoulders, and armpit (Just cut too tight) so I couldn't comfortably reach with my arms. Sleeves were too long, although I very lean, and long in the arms.

Really happy with this jacket. Others commented that it was stiff and this was quite soft and comfortable. I'm thrilled about the waxed fabric and the ability to keep it waterproof with the life of the jacket. I love the style, and the color is very nice too.
I ordered a Medium -- fits perfect. I've had issues with jackets fitting over my hips but no issues with this jacket. For reference I'm usually a size 8 pants , 5'5 and 140lbs
Love this jacket...only wish it was a little softer of fabric...it seems a bit stiff. But it's a keeper! I wear a 10/12 and Large fit perfect

I purchased this jacket to replace a North Face jacket that I have worn out - for rain and outdoor use. I usually go for Patagonia jackets, too, but the darling fox logo won me over! I love the color, this jacket is really light weight and easy to wear over layers. It is actually lighter than I was hoping for, but the fabric repels water and that is mainly what I wanted. It is a sporty little jacket and I feel it will last quite a while. I am kind of intimidated to try the fabric waxing, though!
