I needed a corset to wear under my wedding dress, so I purchased this Miraclesuit (XL) and the Spanx comfy corset (L and XL, both of which fit but I would have kept the L if I went with Spanx). I am 5 4 and wear a size 12, 36DD. I was worried about the corset pushing up some chub above my strapless dress, but since my dress comes up a bit higher, that isn t an issue. Also, here s what I m doing with my wedding dress undergarments so you can tell if any of my advice will help you. Here s a glimpse into my world: you might think I m crazy, but under my dress I plan to wear this corset, a strapless bra, and a set of Spanx bike-shorts (I don t want my inner thigh to chaff and the spanx shorts help smooth out the corset/bra lines). Then on top of that business, I get to wear the dress slip that has the skirt fluff and stuff. All in all, my undergarments weigh more than my dress, but I feel very comfortable in this get-up. I could probably lose the spanx bike short-thing and use body glide between my legs if I get worried about the chaffing, so that might be a layer that disappears. Nothing like oversharing while being anonymous online! I liked the feel of the Spanx a bit more, but the Miraclesuit had more coverage and more structure (read: more boning, which might be a drawback for some, but it gave me more of a shape, whereas the Spanx just squished my belly into a different and unshapely shape. I was more blobby; the Miraclesuit made my figure more hourglassy/feminine). The Miraclesuit is longer and though I fear the boning might cut into the tops of my thighs, it definitely holds me in more and I have better posture because of it as well (also had a tougher time bending over while wearing it---- yeesh!). I had my mom measure me because we couldn t initially tell which one was cutting more inches; the Miraclesuit took in two more inches than the Spanx- we were shocked! And it made SUCH a difference with my dress; I had more of a figure and there was more definition all around- it was a no brainer which corset won out. I couldn t get over it, still can t. Which is why I m writing this right now. Some things to be aware of: The Miraclesuit only has one size/rung of hooks (which worked fine for me, but I might order the next size down in case I need that on my wedding day) whereas the Spanx has three size settings, and the former s center hook seam sticks out a bit, but once I put my dress on, I couldn t tell at all. That center seam might be more noticeable when wearing other fabrics/thinner clothes. The Miraclesuit, again, is longer than the Spanx, so if you have a shorter torso, the Spanx might be for you. For the record, my torso isn't long by any real measure, but I can make the Miraclesuit cincher work for me. I never thought I would wear a corset. Both of these brands are more comfortable than I expected, but I had incredibly low expectations and was prepared for torture. I think I ll be able to last just fine in the Miraclesuit all day; I guess I ll find out in a few weeks!

An excellent waist reducer and so very comfortable to wear. I just gained 10 lbs. (must have been the biscuits!) and this reducer has me down to normal size with just a few hours a day wearing it. I still wear it because it helps me sit up straight.

This waist cincher ended up working very well for me. I needed it to wear under my wedding dress which has zero structure to it. I actually ended up putting it on backwards so that the hooks could be hidden behind the zipper in the back of my dress. I cannot guarantee that it will work this way for everyone as I am not sure if that is how it is intended to be worn but it worked for me and I cannot see any of the boning through my dress. It enhanced my hourglass shape (Spanx tends to take away my hourglass). It is also long enough to cover from my bra band to over my entire tummy area down to the hips (i.e. no pooch or love handle situation popping out). So glad that I found this one because I have tried so many and finally found this one that works for my dress! I was not sure if I would need a small or a medium (I am 5'5", 125 pounds), but got a medium (because small was sold out) and the medium ended up being the right size for me. But you always have the option of ordering a few sizes and returning the one that does not work.

Great product for anyone. Slims you in all the right places. Great for new mommies to help you look slimmer instantly. The only downfall was that the seam or clips in the front does show a line in some materials, also it is difficult to bend at the waste because of the boning to slim you.
