The fit is true and the shoes are comfortable. They were purchased to wear with a suit, and they complement it very well. I think they could also be worn more casually, but at his age (18) I am not sure they will be.

Unfortunately, they don't offer a lot of support--had thought about taking them to Europe with me for a 2 month trip in hopes that they would be good, light-weight walking shoes (they are light), but the lack of arch-support means that my feet get tired after a mile or two.

Cop these while you can; waterproof suedes with classic Oxford design and the quality you can expect from Timberland. They are called "limited edition" so they might not be around forever.

Look: Perfect middle-of-the-road - I ordered this shoe style for my son, who has a very wide foot, and needed a much nicer casual shoe to go with more than jeans. He ordered 4W, which was fine in the width. They look great with jeans, but also with nicer pants and blazers, etc. His only slight criticism was that it could use more cushion, but he has been used to wearing either Keens or athletic shoes for many years.
