My last three pairs of shoes have been this brand. I attempted to stray once, when I got a pair of Royal Elastics, but they just weren't as comfortable as this kind. I finally made the wise decision to not get white shoes after a visiting dog tried to eat the five month old pair of white Tigers I had. I opted for the navy/yellow combo (my fiance hates my white shoes as I tend not to clean them, ever) and we're both happy.

These shoes are very comfortable. They don't last long so I don’t recommend every day use. (The soles wear down FAST). Also they develop a weird smell after a while, I've had 2 pairs that developed that smell, my other shoes don't. Maybe it’s just my feet. They look good though.

First off, let me say that Zappos is the best online company I have ever experienced as a shopper. Amazing service to say the very least. Now on with the Onitsuka Tigers. I love the mexico 66s because they’re super comfortable and stylish IF worn as a casual shoe.. Not much arch support as others have noted and the bottom sole does not have much grip so I advise you to stay away from wet or icy conditions. It runs a bit narrow so maybe go a half size up to accommodate toe room. Not much of a running shoe to today’s standard because some may even consider it as "flats" so I wouldn’t recommend running with it or even used to walk long distances. But if retro style and sleek look is what you’re looking for, then you cannot go wrong with the mexico 66s.

If you prefer bulky, highly-cushioned shoes, you might want to stay away from these. But to those who do like these types of shoes, they're great. They're very comfortable, pretty light, and make you feel really grounded. They do actually have a little arch support (in the soles). However, they're not the most flexible shoes around, and they don't do too well in wet conditions (low traction and not very waterproof). But still, overall, a great purchase. Note: to those who prefer minimal shoes, these can still be a great option for you. Ripping out the soles will remove the arch support AND greatly reduce the weight (they feel like 6 oz afterward). Flexibility improves somewhat as well.

I was confident when buying these shoes. I've bought similar in the same line. And to my surprise, these set high as a favorite. I love the snug glove-like feel of the material, a nice change from leather. Feels weightless, and easy to wear for a full day. The pattern is subtle, doesn't "jump out", yet still allows color matching to variate with what I'm wearing...and with the red pop from the side strip and laces. Alternative pair of laces is provided for less color.

About Onitsuka Tiger by Asics
As the Japanese people recovered from the second world war and began to appreciate the benefits of sports, Onitsuka Tiger™ shoes were on their feet. The first basketball shoes in Japan had a tiger face design on the arch of the foot and this became Onitsuka's trademark. In the 1960's, Onitsuka Tiger™ shoes were worn not only by the Japanese, but also by top foreign athletes.
In 2001, ASICS America Corporation quietly resurrected the Onitsuka Tiger™ brand with original models of Onitsuka shoes and Onitsuka clothing updated in today's flavorful colors. Over the past few years, the Onitsuka Tiger™ brand has been enjoying a growing number of new, dedicated shoe followers along with a steady desire for Onitsuka clothing and Onitsuka bags, realized today on Zappos.com. Through sometimes secretive grassroots marketing efforts, ASICS® has been able to spread this word about this authentic comeback for Onitsuka Tiger™.
Now that the secret is out... Onitsuka Tiger™ is a growing and highly sought after brand with its ever-growing lineup of Onitsuka Tiger™ shoes, Onitsuka Tiger™ clothing and Onitsuka Tiger™ bags. There are more Onitsuka Tiger™ mens’s and Onitsuka Tiger™ women’s models just sitting in the ASICS® vault waiting to be re-released. The future is what this retro brand has to look forward to. Because ASICS® knows that there are people out there who don't need to run fast...they just want to look good.

I only wish the shoe’s comfort was equal to their very cool style. The shoes are great looking. But they are not the most comfortable shoes I own by far. I ended up throwing some Gel insoles in and that has helped. And there is still room in them. No arch support, but easy to put on and off. Would I buy them again once these wear out...yes, but you definitely need the arch support. I wish they could combine both together.

I love these shoes, you can wear them with just about anything. I take out the soles and put in Super Feet because I like a sole with a higher arch, but besides the stock soles, they are very comfortable. This is my second pair, I still wear the last pair from over 4 years ago. These are very durable shoes, and they still look good worn. Definitely buy!

These shoes are the most comfortable casual shoes around. The leather used on these is genuine and high quality. My only complaint is that the sole wears down rather quickly and once they do, they have no traction AT ALL (I really mean it!) on wet glossy floors and ice. However, they are so comfortable I continue to wear them anyways and have risked falling my arse numerous times! I have been seeing some canvas models popping up recently and really hope that they are not going to be phasing out the leather ones in favor of these. If you want to get the most comfort out of these shoes, you must go for an all-leather model!

I love this shoes! I am a woman, and had been looking for some sneakers that would look a bit more dressy. I swore off of my purchasing suede. I think it looks worn out too quickly. The problem is that most of the fashion sneakers have suede. So I found these with mostly dark colors and no suede and they are perfect for being super comfortable but not too sports-like.

Love them! The shoes fit true to size and have more arch support than expected, although this does not get in the way of their sleek look.

These are very cute shoes. I purchased them for my grand daughter, age 17, for our trip to India. She never had them off her feet for two weeks. They were very comfortable and fit very true to size.

I bought these shoes as a gift for my son. He absolutely loves them. Says they are comfortable and fit well. They look good with jeans and khakis, adds a dressier look than regular tennis shoes.

Great looking shoe, runs a bit narrow - I ordered a 6.5 (I usually wear a 6.5), but 7 fit better. A little narrow, but comfortable and super-stylish. A fun shoe.

I love these shoes. Classic Tiger style with really cool fabric. I got the white ones with canvas and totally dig the rainbow specks on the canvas. No arch support, but a great walking shoe regardless. I'm on my feet all day at work and my feet still feel great after 13 hours. I had to rip out the insoles and put in my own prescription orthoses, but it's not a problem. Would recommend this shoe to anyone who wants hip kicks without sacrificing comfort.

My 16-year-old saved his minimum wage paycheck to buy these shoes. The fit was true-to-size, they are lightweight and comfortable and look cool, but not like you're trying too hard (which is important when one is in high school).

These sneakers are extremely lightweight, very comfortable, very easy to put on, and they look good, to boot. I've owned at least 7 different pairs of Onitsuka Tigers. I haven't owned another type since the first one I bought (about 8-10 years ago).

This shoe is fabulous! I ordered the off-white colored ones with the green and red stripes, super cute, and so comfortable! Comfortable from the minute I put them on, haven't taken them off since (and I'm painfully picky, so trust me, no breaking these puppies in, they're great). Wish I could afford to get every color.

I love these shoes, I normal wear Converse Chuck Taylors and these fit very similar to them but these are way more comfortable. They feel very true to size and require no break in time at all they are perfect right away. Also they have excellent traction.

I bought these for my 14 yr. old daughter who is an Asics fan. Onitsuka Tiger is the line of Asics she likes best. These are a fun brown plaid with orange-red stripes and laces. She loves these shoes! We will definitely be buying more!
